"Review to share on Relais del Borgo Hotel and Spa 18 May to 4 June – For 17 nights I had the good fortune to stay at Silvia’s hotel, Relais del Borgo Hotel and Spa, in Staffolo, Italy. My arrival in Jesi on May 18 was late in the afternoon and as I was taking a selfie picture with the Jesi sign in sight, I saw a confident, friendly, and energetic woman just behind me – I turned and received a great welcome hug from Silvia, who helped me with my luggage and off to Staffolo we drove as I took video and pictures out the window of her vehicle of this beautiful area in the Marché/Ancona region. The panoramic view outside my hotel room window was spectacular – I didn’t want to stop looking at the countryside vista, and made sure the shutters were always open while I stayed at Relais del Borgo! After unpacking, I came downstairs to a delicious board with cheeses, breads, and meats accompanied by a healthy portion of Verdicchio wine, the delicious libation specific to the region. I knew I would be well-taken care of during my stay in Staffolo! The next morning, and every morning after, I was greeted by Damiano Cerioni, guest services specialist for Silvia’s hotel. Damiano is also the organizational secretary of the Banda Musicale Cittá di Staffolo. Damiano made the best omelet for me – and provided a juice list of every color and flavor as well as a satisfying selection for coffee drinks. During my stay, I also enjoyed some time in the spa, as well as a foot and back massage by Gianluca, expert masseuse and guest services employee at Relais del Borgo Hotel and Spa. Some evenings were quite late, as I was involved with music rehearsals, performances, and afterglow. Guess who was waiting for me? Silvia made sure each of her guests were safely ‘home’ before she turned in for the evening. It was very comforting to be so well served! In sum, I give Silvia’s Relais del Borgo Hotel and Spa the very top rating. "We were in 3 at the hotel's spa. Very nice and functional with pool massage, water stream and of course Swedish sauna and Turkish bathroom. Between the two saunas there is a small emotional path with 3 showers with different light streams and temperatures. The hotel is also allowed for outsiders without accommodation. The cost is €35 per person for a maximum of 3 hours per group. Reservation is recommended. The Spa should be open from 10:00 to 20:00. The spa and pool sizes allow the contemporary presence of ten people. The staff make available towels, towels and shoes. There is also a relaxing room with various tisans, dry fruit and cookies. In general, a great structure where you can relax and also book various types of massages."

"Simply outstanding! It’s quite a way out of Fabriano and the road is pretty rough but don’t be turned off. The hospitality is exceptional. Host Firontina is delightful and makes you feel at home from the moment you come in. Our room was compact but had everything. The dinner was great including the house wine. Breakfast was amazing. And there are the farm animals and the dogs and cat. Exceptional. Firontena sent us to the UNESCO famed paper making factory of the 15th century and the amazing civil gallery. Not to be missed"
