I was very disappointed in the condition of this hotel for it being a Marriott. The rooms smelt odd, the carpet was filthy and the hotel seemed very old and very run down. We stayed there overnight on a Delta hotel voucher because our flight was delayed out of Anchorage.

The full experience which included very friendly staff, food and location was very good. The only negative was the room lighting in the bathroom sink area was not lit well making it hard for my wife to apply makeup and do her hair. During our stay there were an umber of large groups of young people that were noisy late into the night.

Excellent stay for 2 nights before an intrepid trip. Galen was very helpful & delightful :) Clean, tidy and tasty breakfast. The gym was unexpected and big enough for a quick workout with a spa to help recover from the cold. Thankyou to Galen and Intrepid

This is the best room and hotel I have stayed in Alaska. Perfect position. Close to Airport and downtown. I will definitely return here!! It has easy access to the train station and a really lovely healthstore across the road. It asl has a lovely hot tub!

Gailen at the counter was very helpful with check-in and out and was very hospitable. Monique made an awesome breakfast with a lot of variety to chose from. Bed and pillows were comfortable. All in all it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

First time in Anchorage and first time at a SPRINGHILL SUITES. Hotel was located in a decent area, close to Walmart and a Cinemark movie theater which is a big plus. Hotel itself - it needed some major cleaning inside and outside. There was just trash everywhere. The carpet in the first floor/reception area could use some deep cleaning. I would recommend they hire more cleaning staff. Or just completely replace the carpeting for the entire hotel. The rooms were a very good size The breakfast which is included was also good. We appreciated the free shuttle to the airport.

Just spent two nights at the Springhill Suites on A Street in Anchorage and have only good things to say. The person who complained about the Lyft obviously didn’t listen to the recording giving directions to access the free Lyft to the hotel. I had no problem getting the ride. The room and entire hotel was very clean. Lots of towels and instant hot water in the shower. Galen at the front desk was especially helpful answering my many questions and giving directions. She even helped me find a nice place for a manicure ( VIP nails ). The maintenance man also helped me with the laundry and directions. It’s a couple minutes to walk to Walmart and a great grocery place - Nature Pantry ( like Whole Foods) is across the street. I saw a couple homeless people, but they were not on hotel property, and they did not bother me. I was greeted as a Marriott Bonvoy member and felt valued as a customer throughout the stay.

Worst SpringHill Suites I've ever stayed at. Supposed to provide transport from airport and said to call. We did and only got a message. No one ever answered the phone. Ended up taking Lyft. Room had extremely dim lighting. No light over desk and no desk lamp. Had to use our iPhone flashlights just to unpack even with the window shades open. Bathroom lighting so dim, it was difficult to shave or put on makeup. Breakfast hour starts too late for those taking the train.
