Villa Orleans

Our stay at the villa overlooking the stunning Amalfi Coastline was magical. From the moment we arrived, we were mesmerized by the panoramic views of the azure sea and the charm of Amalfi town. The villa itself is a gem. Our room was clean, spacious, and elegantly decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Waking up each morning to the sight of the sparkling Mediterranean was unforgettable (the views at breakfast are stand out). The staff truly made our stay exceptional with their charm and warmth. When we arrived Geraldo collected us in tow with our suitcases from Amalfi town centre). Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a variety of fresh local produce. The easy bus ride to the villa for just 1.50 euros made getting there a breeze. We loved the beautiful walk down the mountain (about 25mins) though we wouldn’t brave the 700 stairs up! The staff went above and beyond to provide information about local transportation, including bus and ferry schedules, and offered great tips on must-see sights and hidden gems along the coast. In summary, this villa offers stunning views, outstanding service, and a prime location. We can’t wait to return and create more beautiful memories. Highly recommended!

Villa Orleans’s is a wonderful place. The views are incredible and the hosts are equally exceptional! It felt to us that Gerardo and Orleans go above and beyond normal expectations to make their guests happy. We arrived by ferry in Amalfi, and Gerardo picked us up. As they had told us ahead of time, there are some stairs to navigate to get to their property, but it was no problem. The breakfast was great. For dinner, they made reservations for us at local restaurants located above Villa Orleans. And, they have arrangements with the restaurant owners for a shuttle service. Wonderful! The food at the property and the restaurants was excellent.

Wow! Thank you so much for a lovely honeymoon. Gerado and Villa orleans were amazing hosts, so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was amazing and the views are just incredible. Each room has a large balcony with cushioned table and chairs and private sun loungers, all with a gorgeous view. Lovely secluded spot with only 5 rooms in total, making it feel very special and amongst locals with gorgeous surrounding local gardens and agriculture. The bus stop is right infront of the hotel and only €1.50 into Amalfi in just over ten minutes. A gorgeous walk down to the centre in half an hour with stunning views. If you want to stay in Amalfi steps are unavoidable wherever you stay, so Villa Orleans was the perfect choice and a huge plus was it having a pool unlike other accommodation. The infinity pool was also much bigger in real life than the photos which was a pleasant suprise. Thank you so such for an unforgettable honeymoon.

We spent 5 nights at Villa Orleans and the host made us feel like we were at home. The breakfast and the view alone were worth the stay. The hotel is updated and off the main drag so you avoid the bustle and noise of the downtown while still being within walking distance. It’s a nice walk along the coast line and an easy bus ride back. Gerard makes sure you have everything you need for the best vacation.

Our first time visiting the Amalfi coast on our honeymoon after getting married in Puglia. Well let me tell you our experience right from beginning to end was amazing all thanks to Geraldo and his family. He picked us up from the ferry port and drove us with all our luggage to the villa. He than had his kids “luggage service” which my wife found hilarious take our bags down to the room. He gave us all the tips and tricks to taking the bus and walking down to the centre and helped arrange a taxi from positano back to the villa late at night after a late supper there. Anything we needed he was happy to help. The breakfast with the view AMAZING. Private balcony with lounge chairs to sit in the sun. Very modern rooms bathroom shower was great. We could not of had a better experience, thank you so much Geraldo and family.

I can really recommend this hotel. Perfect location (quiet), nice room and wonderful hospitality. Very swimming pool and instagram-friendly views. Close to the busstation. And great service from everyone, especially Gerard! /El Tigre from Sweden

Our host geraldo greeted us on our arrival as we were slightly unsure where exactly the entrance to the villa was located. He was an excellent Host through out our 5 night stay and he carried out luggage on our way down to the villa ( there are quite a few steps from the main road) whilst explaining to us about the various facilities the villa has to offer. The surrounding area is very quiet and secluded while offering stunning views of the coastline and the sea. We arrived at our room and we instantly fell in love with our balcony view on the terrace, the room itself was spotless and had a modern sleek design. Breakfast was on offer between 8 and 10am and you have a choice between cereal, eggs, pastures, yoghurts and fruit and an Italian style breakfast (I had this most of the time, it consists of parma ham, salami, brown bread, tomatoes , ricotta and mozzarella, highly recommend) of course you also have a choice of drinks from juice to coffee. Geraldo made our stay very pleasant and was very warm and friendly throughout , giving us travel tips and assistance for getting around Amalfi and even offering his own supply of bus tickets when we were in need of some help. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on our balcony and the main terrace area which we used on the evenings as we were out exploring most of the day. We also bought some takeaway pizza and a bottle of wine from Amalfi and brought this back to our room to enjoy on our balcony and you are more than welcome to help yourself to any cutlery / plates from the breakfast area to use in your room as the door is left unlocked for access when you need it. I highly recommend Villa Orleans should you wish to stay in Amalfi. It is only a 20 minute walk or a 10 minute bus ride to the centre of Amalfi. The views are second to none and you will most definitely enjoy your stay there. Thank you geraldo for making our stay one to remember 🙌👍😁

Fantastic place! Room was beautiful with a private balcony. Each night we had a glass of wine overlooking the lemon trees and ocean. The Villa Orleans is quite accessible to Amalfi by a walking path or bus stop right at the steps down to the villa. However, there are many steps so mobility it required. Geraldo was so accommodating and helpful and the breakfast was just too abundant and delicious to put into words. Come not recommend more highly! A gem just outside of the chaos of the town centrel

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Orleans. It exceeded our expectations! Geraldo and his wife were exceptional hosts and attended to all our needs and questions. The rooms were clean, modern and beautiful. We had a beautiful deck that had spectacular views. There is a bus that can get you into Amalfi very easily and several times for convenience Geraldo gave us rides (although this would be difficult during peak times). Villa Orleans is off the beaten path but that is what is charming about it. We looked forward to the morning breakfast to get our day started. It was delicious! Geraldo's mother makes fantastic pastries! If you are looking for a small boutique type hotel with personal service and an opportunity to immerse yourself in Amalfi life...this is the place to be! When you are in Amalfi make sure you do hike the "Path of the Gods". It was a highlight of our trip...stunning views of the coast.
