Have stayed at many Premier Inns and this one had some good, but a lot of teething problems. Firstly, the location was ideal for the town and other attractions in the area. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. There was plenty of parking and the hotel is obviously very new. On the bad side, the food / restaurant left a lot to be desired, except breakfast. Breakfast was excellent, we never had to queue, it was the same member of staff each morning who was very friendly. The food was tasty and hot. The evening meal was a big disappointment. We ordered quickly on the first night, but it took a very long time to arrive, even though the restaurant didn't look very busy at all. We had also booked a meal deal for each day we were there and on the second day, we received a call telling us the restaurant would be closed due to staff shortage / sickness. Our meal deal would be refunded, but they couldn't / wouldn't do this on site and we had to wait for a refund from head office. Annoying, as you could pay for the service on site. They did offer the use of plates / cutlery to anyone ordering a takeaway, but on reading other reviews, notice that closure of the restaurant is quite often. I would stay here again, but I wouldn't expect to eat and would make firm plans for elsewhere.
