We have been to so many religious places in india. The hotel hira inn is so beautifully and thoughtfully well planned. We arrived at the hotel at 4. 30pm. Well, our flight was delayed and we had to skip lunch. We were starving. The hotel has different menus for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Ours was definitely snack menu. We requested mr. Kamal mishra in restaurant if they can at-least prepare dal chawal for us from lunch menu. Mr. Mishra made a exception and fed us proper lunch. With his exceptional service and staff they made our visit so easy. We were fasting for breakfast, we got a special request for breakfast as well. We had to rush for lunch 2nd day as it was departure time. But again mr. Mishra didn't let us down. We would recommend anyone visiting prayagraj should stay at hotel hira inn and see how exceptional their service is.

No towel is available in room. I asked room service he told me he is arranging, then after 20 minutes i again asked, again he told arranging, then finally after 45-50 minutes i went on reception, they replied they will arrange in 5 minutes. Finally after 1 hour i got towel after asking three times.

We had a very good stay at hotel grand continental - prayagraj (allahabad) u. P. Manager mr ashish verma & mr mukarram, were very well behaved, polite & were very helpful. Hotel was clean & hygienic, food was nice, rooms & toilets were clean up to the mark. The managers & staff were prom t & responsive & well behaved we had a nice & happy stay.

Location of the property is really good. It’s in the center of the city. The property is not properly maintained especially the bathroom areas. Hotel is at good location, hygiene standards are good and staff very responsive. Restaurant and bakery shop are excellent. The only downside is the early check out time at 11 am which is inconvenient and no relaxation after 12 even though we had checked in quite late in the evening with due proper information and the there were vacant rooms.

Location is near to railway station. Food is good. Room is little congested. Staff were good. Based on price and location, it's ok to stay here if you want to night stay. It doesn't have elevator / lift. So if you have heavy luggage or senior citizen it might be problem.

Location : very close to railway station. Located in a neat and clean posh and quite area. Food: hotel needs to improve their breakfast spread. They can avoid making poha and up-ma because their chef has no idea how to make it. They should rather serve local allahabad dishes. Their kitchen closed at 11 pm with last order at 10:30 pm. On 29th night, we struggled connecting with room service / reception at 10 pm. Communication lines (intercom) were not working. No response on mobile as no one was there at reception. Finally managed to go down in my night suit at 10:20 pm, caught hold of a random staff who was kind enough to provide us 2 glasses of hot milk. Some of the stuff in breakfast was very good- aaloo parathas, poori bhaji etc. Amenities: wifi was not working throughout our stay. Intercom lines went down every now and then. Untrained staff for housekeeping - multiple requests had to be made for basic requirements in the room services: courteous staff / helpful to quite an extent. The hotel did not have a single lady staff for a better appreciation of the requirements of female guests. Ample parking inside the compound as well as outside the hotel. Special mention : mr. Z aid was extremely helpful. A very soft spoken and courteous staff, who was a student pursuing his studies as well as working in hotel.

A budget hotel with all basic amenities are in place. Staff is courteous and ready to help. Needed early check-in and front desk helped and provided the room after 30 minutes wait as the room was to be made ready after previous guest check-out. Overall good experience.
