It was really a nice experience. The hotel is situated in the civil line which is a nearby and clean place. The roads outside the hotel are also so clean. You will love walking outside. Shops and other vendors are so organised. Indian Coffee House is also just outside of this hotel. The staff were so good. I agree that breakfast was not so good. However it does not matter. We have the option to exclude breakfast while booking rooms. Rooms were so neat and clean. As soon u will enter in the room u will feel the good vibes. Overall it was a great experience 😃😃❤️❤️

We negotiated on the spot and booked 3 rooms for our family of 7 for one night on 16 March'2023. Rooms are good, but service is not upto the mark. While checking in, we were informed that there will be buffet spread for breakfast. However, in the morning, we were informed that we have to order from breakfast menu and it will be served in the room. When ordered over phone, we were again asked to come to dining hall to get the breakfast served. In dining hall, they served breakfast of only one room order against our 3 rooms. After waiting for almost half-an-hour to get served, the staff asked us to repeat the already ordered items for breakfast and were served after another half-an-hour. The items were also very limited to order. For the kind of price they are charging for the rooms like 4-start luxury hotels, service is like a 2-star budget hotel. There may be much better options in Prayagraj. Hotel Milan Palace is definitely not a recommendable place to stay with family.

Hotel belongs to a Dr. who also runs a hospital nearby but doesn't seem to care about how his hotel is being run. Wondering what his patients would be going through. Booked 2 rooms in Nov 23. Problems started from the time we tried searching for the hotel. Google map route is wrong. Went in circles to locate. They haven't even put a signboard on the front side of the hotel. After checking in realised that we were duped on the room size. Very small rooms of 120 sq ft but claiming to be much larger size on various booking sites. Small TV put in an awkward position parallel to the bed. Restaurant was under construction but not updated on the site. Lift got stuck and it took 2 hrs for them to get the mechanic to the place while they kept telling us that he will be there in 10-15 mins. Old age parents had to sit at the reception till then as they can't climb the steps. Poor communication and careless attitude of staff. One of Dr's staff assistant had come for a visit and kept smiling while we were arguing with the staff. Toilets are pathetic. Very small size like a gallery. Exhaust fan is a make shift arrangement. People from adjacent flat can see inside the toilet. Commode was shaking and one had to sit carefully for the fearing of falling down. Flush water was flowing out from the pipes creating a mess. Housekeeping did not come to clean despite reminders. We wanted to leave as soon as possible. Avoid at any cost....

Royal rajwadi rooms, still very reasonable pricing. Rooms, entire facility in top class condition. Owner has own farms and cattle shed, so quality of food ingredients is really very good, also cook Kusum prepares nice, tasty food. Manager Chandresh Upadhyay is very hands on, down to earth and very helpful for everything including visiting tourist spots or any issues you have at GH.

This centrally located property in Prayagraj is currently under refurbishment. The restaurant on the ground floor, for example, has temporarily been moved to a banquet room on the first floor. Our experience at the hotel was hardly affected by this. Our 3rd floor suite was serviced by an elevator. The views from the rooms are on to the adjoining plots —hardly of interest. The four poster king-size canopy bed was quite striking; it was comfortable and the rooms themselves relatively silent. The suite is well-appointed with a minifridge, an electric kettle, and enough chairs and a working desk. There are many electrical charging points which were all working. The wifi connection we found was poor (Room 314). (I checked that the connection is better in the reception lobby.) There were two flat screen TVs but one was out of order. Also, the cable TV connection did not subscribe to international news channels such as BBC or CNN international. There was a bathroom and a WC. The main bathroom has no hand-shower nor a shaving mirror. The basic toiletries and enough clean towels were provided. But, most importantly, there was no hot water. This in our view was the most serious handicap of this place. On the last day of our two-night stay we brought up the issue with the Reception. Though we ascribe the issue to an oversight on the part of the managerial staff, their response was immediate. Two persons came around to check and decided there was a fault in the geyser. It was repaired within half and hour. The breakfast spread is very decent. The food at lunch/dinner was too spicy for our taste and it took a long time to prepare. Overall, our stay was pleasant.

GGastnutzerIt was my sister’s wedding at Hotel Allahabad Regency. We booked the hall for 2 days and Lawn for the wedding. On Day 1: They didn’t started the AC even after the guest arrived and they were just putting on the chair covers even 2 hrs later than the event start time. They were not serving the snacks and food items as decided in the menu. Moreover quantity was not sufficient as per the requested guest list. And to add up more they were shuffling the snacks between the 2 events ongoing at the same time. There was zero professionalism for such a big brand of Allahabad. There was total 3-4 waiters who were switching between food and bar. No dedicated Bartender. They charged us Rs.11000 for liquor license but when asked for a copy of it they were not able to produce one. They are fraud people. On Day 2: Wedding day was the heights of unprofessionalism and rudeness. For a gathering of 200-250 we could see only 5-6 waiters who were serving to the guests. And even those were just roaming where there was no guests without even asking them as a courtesy. The linens used for tables and chair were dirty and shabby. As per the contract 50% of the amount was to be paid before the function and 50% after the function. But there useless and rude manager forced us to pay almost 85% of the payment before the function. And for mere 15% of the payments he removed the plates from the counter in the middle of event. And the complimentary room provided to us was worst than a roadside motel with size so small and AC not working. However while making the booking he promised other room to us. There are 100’s of other things which cannot be described in the reviews but i would just say this was the worst experience faced by me in my life that too from so called reputed hotel of Allahabad. And this review cannot be closed by special review for Mr. Mandal the event manager. He is the most arrogant, rude and disrespectful manager. Since it was my sister’s wedding i was bound to maintain the decorum of the event without making any fuss, otherwise i would have thrashed Mr.Mandal. He don’t deserve to be a manager of such a so called reputed hotel. He is a disgrace to the hotel and should be fired immediately if Hotel Allahabad Regency wants to continue with its reputation. Highly NOT recommended for any event.
