De Trafford Arms by Chef & Brewer Collection

We booked for a one night stay here & from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcomed.The room was pleasant with all facilities,if a little dated..but we had a great night of undisturbed sleep & the bed was super comfy.We booked an evening meal which along with a nice bottle of quality red wine was superbly presented & very tasty.Our little waitress Charlotte was super attentive throughout without being intrusive..as were all the staff.Mums the word!..If you are thinking of a stay in Alderley Edge we would recommend without hesitation..keep up the good work,we definitely will return.Relaxing surprise.

Stayed here as we were exhibiting at a show at the Concorde Runway, as it was better priced than hotels nearer the airport area. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and the food was also good both at breakfast and for evening meals. Our stay was for two nights and we chose to eat in the restaurant both nights

What a great hotel in a cozy but chic English town. The pub at De Trafford was a warm, inviting and pleasant experience. Particularly, Helen made our time there fantastic. Generous pints served with cheer and friendship for the out-of-towners. Food was delicious and the staff were so kind. Will definitely come back!

We booked a stay here the night before an early flight; room OK for the amount of time we’ll actually be in it as leaving at 2:00am but have to say the staff are fantastic and we had a lovely meal; shout out to Helen and Charlotte who were most hospitable. They acknowledged rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment but explained housekeeping worked their socks off to make sure everything was clean, which we agreed was absolutely obvious from what we saw. So, if you need an airport stay, stay here and if you need a lovely pub grub night out come here!!!

Fantastic stay. Angus made us so welcome and Helen was lovely and friendly too. Food was absolutely delicious and plenty of it. Lovely hotel, lots of character in the dining and pub area. Clean ,welcoming and cosy. Comfy beds. Good selection of drinks. Would stay again

Our room was a little dated and tired but very clean. The corridoors had quite a distincitve smell, which was quite off putting... I think maybe the old carpets! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Both our evening meal and breakfast were lovely.

We stumbled across this hotel and pub/ restaurant late on a Saturday and it was a find ! Innovative dinner menu, attentive staff and quality breakfast. A special mention to waiter Tom for his friendly service and humour , and to Helen. Emily at breakfast was capable and friendly. The room itself was ordinary and the bathroom a little cramped but the bed was huge and comfy. We slept well. Could do with better pillows ( they were hard and quite thick so couldn’t be adjusted to personal taste/need) and a non slip bath mat ( for oldies like me), but this is nit picking ! We will be back.

We have just had 3 nights at The De Trafford Hotel I slept like a log Food was excellent The Staff were warm and friendly and it is in a great location Close yo the village yet quiet and a short walk to the train station The rooms are a little tired but spotlessly clean Plenty of hot water too I will definately stay again Nothing was too much trouble and Sarah abd Helen in the restaurant made it feel like a home from home

Alderley Edge has changed a lot - the quality of this pub has not. As good as ever - staff polite and helpful, breakfast excellent - every bit as good as when I first stayed there in 1975! Only problem is you have to trust people to shut the door of the lift!
