Very clean . Staff were very helpful. I appreciated the shuttle from and to the airport. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

On my recent trip to Accra, I stayed at the Oak Plaza Hotel East Airport. The staff there were friendly and Emmanuel was particularly helpful. The hotel is conveniently located on Spintex Road; next to the Palace mall, where there are a variety of stores, including a supermarket, pharmacy and currency exchange. Also, Accra mall is just a 10 minute car ride away. I was not impressed with the room itself which although clean, looked worn. And although I prefer a firm mattress the bed was quite uncomfortable. The hotel has several eateries, including a lounge on the second floor. Breakfast is included which was quite a feast. There was something for everyone, from jollof rice and meat dishes, to pastries and cereals. Other amenities include a small gym and a pool. If you’re looking for a clean budget hotel that’s conveniently located then this is it.

A great hotel with good facilities and friendly helpful staff. The hotel offer an airport shuttle whoch took the stress out of organising taxis. I had a bed and breakfast booking and there was a great buffet every morning with fresh fruit -including coconuts- breads and a good range of hot dishes. My room was nice and quiet on the 4th floor - note that if you have mobility requests that the lift is only to the 3rd floor. Staff were very helpful and attentive - a couple of minor issues I reported to do with water pressure were dealt with v quickly. Room was spotless. Would definitely recommend. Location next door to mall is also convenient.

Oak plaza Hotel hosted us for one week for a business meeting of 25 people from 14 African countries. The hotel and its staff are very welcoming. The hotel is fantastically clean. All the staff were responsive and accommodative to any request. We had a great time. The food is a good balance of traditional Ghanaian food and international cuisine. A particular shout out to Belinda in reservations who managed our visit exquisitely. Highly recommended

The experience is bad hence deserve 1. The hotel service is weak, internet is weird and doesn’t connect properly, beside the fact that you need three different passwords to connect to the internet in the meeting room, and 1 very weird and complicated password to connect to the room internet. Password may be okay if it was linked to the room number like everywhere but here it’s not the case. Unless they decide to improve I am not sure I will come back here

The Oak Plaza is an upscale hotel in Accra Ghana. It is modern, comfortable, and well decorated. There is a bar where you can also get a full meal, as well as a restaurant that has a buffet. An extensive breakfast buffet with both Ghanaian and American/European food is included with the room. There is free wifi. The location is convenient to restaurants, shops, and the airport. The staff is friendly, professional, welcoming, and accommodating.

Helpful front of house staff who are an asset to the business. Comfortable beds with great pillows. Effective air con. Lack of attention to details lets them down . Rooms not as soundproof as I would have liked ( soft pads on chair legs would reduce scraping sounds), cupboard doors dont open and close fully,, towel rail drooping from wall. There were no spare power points for charging and wires from fridge not properly enclosed in the plug with the earth wire completely severed! The website photos show quite a number of loungers round the pool, one of the reasons I booked the hotel. Only one was in evidence and the only parasol was broken! Some cushions were missing from other seats and the basket weave is unravelling, making an uncomfortable elbow rest. Upper floors will have a view but 1st and second floors on one wing of the hotel look out on the side of a warehouse. Not a problem for me is it made it very quiet. Appreciated the airport shuttle.

Was here for lunch. Can actually get food at three places in this hotel, near the pool, at the Jam Rock restaurant, upstairs at the Lucida restaurant, or from the near bar, Joe's Bar. Went to Lucida restaurant, and they had an all you can eat for 100 cedis, for Ghanaian food. . it actually looked quite good, but I asked if they had a set menu too and they had.....actually three menus, from their three places i had mentioned. I ordered a Prime Beef Burger from Joe's Bar menu for a reasonable 60 cedis, as my friend went for the all you can eat. My friend was delighted with the food, getting a few good sized portions, and also enjoying the coconut drink that had a hint of alcohol in it too. For me the burger was a big disappointment, it fell apart when i cut it open, looked like it was an old burger with the taste and flavours squeezed out of it. As I ate it fast, and my friend was still eating, I ventured for another dish from Joe's Bar. this time I went for the Fettuccini for 70 cedis . Again good value. The dish took forever to arrive and I had to ask twice about it, taking well over 40 minutes. But to be fair it was off the menu from the bar and it was late in the day..... And when it did arrive I have to say it tasted fantastic, and I really enjoyed it. So much so I was willing to give them a pass for the burger!!! The food was good and we enjoyed eating our lunch here. Afters, we went to the bar proper, Joes Bar, right beside the Lucida, and had a drink and ordered some ice creams, which was also quite good and a reasonable price. Overall we had a good time eating out here and the prices of the dishes, beers and all the rest wasnt too bad. Also to add, the guy playing the sax was great and added to the nice atmosphere at the restaurant

I stayed here for almost a month, i can say this is the best location i could ask for, adjacent to malls and eatery joints(Indian Food), rooms were neat and clean, staff were very helpful, breakfast was at its best, nothing less than a 5star hotel, with a good spread. I recon this hotel.
