Die Zimmerausstattung ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen und lässt zu wünschen übrig, aber da das Hotel direkt am Biwa-See liegt und die Umgebung toll ist, ist das Zimmer für eine erholsame Nachtruhe nicht so wichtig."

"Biwako Ryokusuitei war eine absolute Behandlung. Wir hatten ein bisschen Wolken am Bahnhof Ogoto-Onsen, da ich kein Telefon gefunden konnte, aber glücklicherweise haben wir den Hotelshuttle beobachtet. Der Fahrer war wunderschön und machte uns von der Ausfahrt zu begrüßen. Das Rezeptionpersonal war brillant, wirklich freundlich und gab uns einen guten Run durch den Ort. Hausaufbewahrung war auch an Ort auf sie waren auch auf dem Ball und hatten unsere Tatami-Mats für uns bereit, während wir zum Abendessen weg waren. Die wirklichen Sterne waren jedoch das Essenspersonal. Sie waren unglaublich professionell und dauerte die Zeit, genau zu erklären, was wir essen und wie man jedes Essen genießen kann. Sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen waren Top-notch 😋 Ich denke noch an das Essen jetzt! Eine richtige (heim weg von Hause) Erfahrung"

"Fantastische Lage, große, leider steinharte Betten, sehr freundliches Personal. Shuttlebus erst nach 8 Uhr morgens, obwohl Frühstück schon ab 7 Uhr. Frühstück für Preis enttäuschend, kein Brot, nur Toast und eine Marmelade sowie weißes Joghurt und Melone, riesen Angebot an asiatischen, gedâmpften oder frittierten Fisch, Fleisch, Suppe o. ä. Zudem keine Erstattung für Frühstück, das wegen frühzeitigem Aufbruch/Abreise nicht zu nutzen war. Nachtwäsche einfach verräumt nach dem Zimmerservice und nicht erstattet, obwohl wir dann keine für den Rest der Reise hatten. Personal spricht überwiegend kein Englisch, Kommunikation auch nicht übersetzbar. Schlechtester Föhn aller Zeiten! Abendessen a la Carte sehr gut!"

"Das wirtschaftliche Doppelbettzimmer im fünften Stock befindet sich im günstigen Zimmer, es kann ein wenig Seenlandschaft sehen, das Zimmer ist ein bisschen klein, aber es ist noch lange zu bekommen, um die Ankunftsbox mitzunehmen. Der Jungen-Bootshaus hat einen großen Innenpool, etwa 8 Punkte können geöffnet werden, der Außenpool kann 4 Punkte geöffnet werden, ein Sauna, der warme Pool ist voller Temperatur, im Freien wird es bequem sein. Das Frühstück ist einfach zu essen, oder Sie können Tee essen, es gibt nicht viele Wahlen. Die Wei Tai-Tier spricht nicht Englisch, Sie können auch wissen, was Sie ausdrücken wollen, und der Service ist sehr enthusiastisch. Über 3.000 Yuan am Wochenende der Blumensaison, ich bin noch da, geh sechs Minuten von der Station zu Fuß, neben der Station gibt es mehr Restaurants und ein großer Supermarkt."

"Gosh, where do I even begin? This stay was frankly perfect. The view was amazing, the open-air private bath was amazing, the service was amazing, the food provided was amazing. There’s even a shuttle bus from the nearby station. I loved it. My friends loved it. The staff even ran across the whole lobby lounge from the check-in counter, and did a full dive into the souvenir store counter for us. Most memorable icecream buying experience."

"We stayed one night at Biwako Grand Hotel Kyoomi and had a generally relaxing experience. The traditional tatami room was comfortable and suitable for staying with a young child. The hotel has a classic Japanese ryokan atmosphere, and the area near Lake Biwa is very peaceful. Staff were polite and helpful, and the shuttle service was convenient. Breakfast was simple but acceptable. One suggestion is that it would be appreciated if room arrangements could better match the photos shown on the booking page, as this would help set clearer expectations. Overall, a calm stay for travelers seeking a traditional experience."

"I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel's onsen, which offered a truly relaxing experience. The only downside is its somewhat remote location, making it a bit far from other attractions. However, this is compensated by the superb view from the room, which provides a breathtaking and serene backdrop."

"因為是去年新蓋的酒店，所以隔音效果非常好，進了房間完全聽不到隔壁的聲音，也沒有內線電話，可以説私密性做的非常好。然後説提供的特色服務，入住有四語的語言導覽，還有可以選擇自己適合的枕頭（分為軟硬，高低，這對我一個喜歡硬枕頭的人來説真是太好了），接着會有迎賓的飲品時間，酒水和軟飲料隨便喝，也不限制外帶食物，所以晚飯即使不提供也可以很開心度過一段愉快時光。接下來説大浴場部分，一開始入住時可以在眾多的護理用品（身體乳，面膜，洗面奶等等）選擇5件，可以説非常不錯了，然後大浴場部分的話就是中規中矩，令人比較遺憾的是同一層的自動販賣機裏沒有牛奶，想體驗一下日本洗浴文化的可能會有點失望，希望店家在自動販賣機引入牛奶。 然後第二天早餐十分豐盛，工作人員加餐很快，不會遇到想吃的東西沒有，又把昨天的小失落拉了回來，而且因為昨天在浴場對象遺失了手環，工作人員貼心的保管好了，這裏非常感謝，並且工作人員推薦的長濱當地的特色景點和餐廳的訊息，讓我在這裏度過了一段美好的經歷。也希望酒店可以結合我的評價再接再厲吧！"

"It was a great stay at this ryokan! The hotel is able to arrange a car to fetch you from the JR station. You can call them using a dedicated phone at the station which is used to contact the different ryokans. The car arrived in 10mins or so. The ride to the ryokan was also less than 10mins. The hotel also fetched us to the station on the last day of our stay. The ryokan itself is homely and cozy. We were greeted by an english speaking staff who introduced us to the amenities of the ryokan. There was also a nice welcome tea and matcha chocolate. Our bags were brought to our room as well during this time. The room is spacious and cozy. The hotel prepared 2 welcome biscuits in the room which was a nice personal touch. The room has a nice living room and a great view of Lake Biwa. Recommend to catch the sunrise over the lake! There are 2 normal beds as well as futon beds (need to set up yourself). Both are comfortable. The hotel also prepared pretty yukata for both female and male guests which you can wear during the stay. There are 4 different designs for ladies, and one design for the guys. You can request for different size if the one in the room doesn’t fit you. There is also a full length mirror and a mini dressing area at the side of the living room. It was fun dressing up in the yukata! The toilet, basin, shower and hot tub areas are all separate. The toilet is a little small, but the basin and mirror area is very spacious. The shower area is quite small as well and the shower head is rather low so you need to hold the shower head if you wish to wash up while standing. There is a small stool given for you to sit down though. The hot tub area is semi-outdoor and you can see Lake Biwa. But it is quite small (only good for one person). It was too cold so we didn’t use the hot tub. Instead, we booked the private onsen for 50mins. The private onsen has a private toilet and dressing area which is equipped with hairdryer, body lotion etc. There is a water dispenser as well if you need to hydrate yourself. The onsen area has a washing area, and the hot tub area is spacious for 2 person. There are privacy screens around the onsen area but there is a small gap to let in cold air for ventilation. Wish there is a good view from the private onsen but it was still enjoyable! Dinner and breakfast was Kaiseki style, and the meals were one of the highlights for my husband and I. We really enjoyed the courses which are clean tasting yet wholesome, fresh and flavourful. It was such a sumptuous treat! The ryokan also has a souvenir shop if you wish to buy anything back. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed the stay here and we agreed this was one of the main highlights of our 12 days trip in Japan. Highly recommend!"
