We just came back from our 4 nights stay. The Inn looked clean and offered a good breakfast, although in a different building. That is pretty much it. Our stay was not the most pleasant though. We booked a room for 3 people (we were traveling with our teenage kid) and at the time of booking I specified that I needed a room large enough for three people and an additional bed for our son. I called the Inn twice in the week prior to our arrival to make sure we had the room we needed and to let them know that we were arriving late in the evening. We arrived on Thursday night at 9 pm to find out that the room we were given was incredibly small and there was no place for an additional bed. The receptionist, a foreign student, called the manager who told her to add a cot to the already small room. We asked for another room and we were offered a room on the third story that was identical to the one we were given but with an awful smell and we declined it. The receptionist told us to either take the room we were assigned or leave. Little caveat, we had already prepaid a non refundable rate and at this time of the year there are no rooms available on Old Orchard Beach without a reservation. The receptionist did not seem to understand the conundrum of the prepaid non refundable stay and did not want to call the manager a second time to try to help us out. We did not want to lose the money we had already disbursed for our vacation so we had no choice but to take the room we were given, move the furniture around to fit a cot bed between our bed and a bureau (which then we could not use because his bed was right against the drawers). Every night we had to move all the luggage against the door to have enough space for the three of us to get to the tiniest bathroom you can think of (a closet repurposed as a bathroom). I do not understand why they accepted the reservation and ended up messing up with our vacation. They could have rejected the reservation saying that they did not have a room for us and I would have booked a room somewhere else. This small room could have worked for a couple but did not work for a family. The room service is offered every other day which meant leaving wet towels from 3 people's showers on the bathroom for an entire day. On one day, I asked for a garbage bag and put the wet towels outside the floor for someone to pick up. Same for the garbage. They sat there in the hallway until the next day. How do they expect people to shower every day, without a change of towels, especially after spending a day at the beach? There are a lot of things that could have been done better. We have been at OOB several times and other motels offer a much better service. I think there is a lot of potential but they need better management. Will not stay there again.

Das bestellte Doppelbettzimmer gab eine Doppelbettsuite, sehr groß, eine Straße ist das Holiday Hotel (preiswert), wo es Gras gibt, um den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen. Fahren Sie ein paar Minuten zum Nationalpark Akadia, es gibt eine schöne Landschaft und eine schöne Mahlzeit.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Ellsworth/Bar Harbor! The hotel was spotless, our room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices to start the day, and the location was perfect for exploring Ellsworth, Acadia National Park, and Bar Harbor. It was nice to come back each evening to a clean, relaxing room after a day of sightseeing. We especially appreciated the friendly service and how well the property was maintained. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay while visiting the Downeast Maine area, we highly recommend the Hampton Inn Ellsworth/Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again!

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett -- würden hier wieder ganz bleiben, statt in Bar Harbor zu sein. Es gibt vollgrößenkabinen, wertvolle Kabinen und Motelzimmer in diesem Hotel, so dass Sie nur auf das aufmerksam machen, was Sie buchen, damit Sie Ihre Erwartungen entsprechend anpassen können. Ein weiterer Bonus -- es war ein schneller Fahrt nach Walmart, um auf Lieferungen zu lagern. Reinigungsbau in einer peripheren Lage in einem Gebiet, in dem ein Fahrzeug zur Bewegung erforderlich ist. Ein geräumiges und sauberes Zimmer; nur die ein wenig ruckig gedrehte Eingangstür sollte überprüft werden. Es genügt, aber ich denke, in der Präsentation und in den Mengen zu überprüfen (wenn Sie nach den 9.00 ein bisschen Diät machen könnten). Das Rezeptionspersonal von Ivey war freundlich und wissensvoll. Der mit Bistro verbundene war auch großartig. Da ich mit dem Fahrrad reiste, war es schön, ein so handiges Restaurant zu haben. Das Wartepersonal war persönlich und effizient und das Essen (Thai Chili Chickenwings und Bauernbrüche) war lecker. Das Zimmer war komfortabel und gut gelagert. Während das Hotel datiert ist, tat es die Arbeit und ich war sehr glücklich mit meinem Besuch. Ich würde sie sicher noch einmal verlassen.

Maybe not located in the city center or by the sea but we love the vibes of this location so much. it was quiet and surrounding by real portland local. Most important only a block away from Tandem Coffee which everyone must try once you are in portland. The living room and bedroom are absolutely fabulous. Grab yourselves a few snack at their snack bar and laying there is great enough.💖💖

This is a very nice and clean space to stay outside of Bangor. It's on the way to Bar Harbor and northern points like New Brunswick. It has decent views and old fashioned Maine rooms. Its short on local amenities- its on the road between bar harbor and ellsworth and there is little nearby except the golf course across the street. There is a small outdoor swimming pool

A very comfortable hotel with spacious airy rooms. The adjoining restaurant is excellent. The staff are helpful and friendly, and there is even a grand piano in the lobby for guests to play. It is however quite out of tune!
