My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

Ich habe dort ein paar Mal geblieben. Freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer und ich hatte ein schönes ruhiges Zimmer. Ich werde dort wieder bleiben.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Das Zimmer war klein, aber sauber und funktional. Auch das Bad war sauber und mit den üblichen Annehmlichkeiten (Shampoo, Duschgel, Handseife, Föhn) ausgestattet. Ein Woolworth-Markt ist nur zwei Gehminuten entfernt, und der Flughafen ist zu Fuß in etwa 10–15 Minuten erreichbar. Die Gemeinschaftsküche mit Loungebereich war das Highlight – sie ist sehr geräumig und die Küche war super ausgestattet (viele Kochplatten, Mikrowelle, Backofen, Töpfe und Pfannen, Teller und Schüsseln, Besteck, Geschirrtücher, Gewürze, Öl und viele kostenlose Lebensmittel/Würzmittel). Wir nutzten die Küche gegen 17 Uhr und sie war recht sauber. Als wir jedoch am nächsten Morgen gegen 5 Uhr zum Frühstück zurückkamen, war sie etwas chaotisch, weil rücksichtslose Gäste nicht aufgeräumt hatten. Einziger Nachteil ist die schlechte Schalldämmung, aber angesichts des Preises und der Nähe zum Flughafen kann ich damit leben.

Kevin and June are friendly and approachable. The rooms are provided with the basic amemities. The location is convenient since we are driving. The only drawback is our rooms are on the upper level and there is no elevator.

**Comfortable Stay with Great Service** I had a pleasant stay at **Rosewood Court Motel**. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including a comfortable bed and a small kitchenette. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the parking was convenient. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was also great—close to shops, restaurants, and easy access to the city. Overall, it’s a good choice for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Ich habe das Haka House gebucht, weil es ein super Preis war und ich außerdem tolle Bewertungen gelesen hatte. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Vom Busbahnhof aus waren es nur 5 Minuten Fußweg zum Haka House. Bei meiner Ankunft traf ich den diensthabenden Manager, der sehr freundlich war und mich schnell eincheckte. Mein erster Eindruck auf dem Weg zum Zimmer war, dass es sehr sauber war und gut roch. Zwei Türen weiter befand sich ein Gemeinschaftsbad. Im Zimmer gab es eine Gepäckaufbewahrung, und das Bett war mit einer Ladestation und einer Leselampe ausgestattet. Das Bett war bequem, und ich habe sehr gut geschlafen.

I had a cosy and comfortable stay. The friendly staff at the reception offered a complimentary shuttle to the airport next morning, a service which I had not realized was available. The staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Thoughtful gestures included offering a bottle of fresh milk, which was an unexpected but lovely touch, as well as assistance in carrying of luggage to both room and on board shuttle van. All these small acts of kindness made me feel so welcomed, especially on my last night in New Zealand. :)

Haka House Hostels Aoraki Mt Cook ist eine fantastische Basis für die Erforschung einer der besten Landschaften Neuseelands. Das Hostel ist sauber, modern und gut gepflegt, mit komfortablen Betten und geräumigen Gemeindebereichen, die es leicht nach einem langen Tag der Wanderung zu entspannen. Die große Küche ist voll ausgestattet, die perfekt für Selbstverpflegung ist, und die Lounge bietet unglaubliche Aussichten auf die umliegenden Berge. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit, immer bereit mit Tipps auf lokalen Straßen und Wetterbedingungen. Die Atmosphäre ist soziale, aber nicht zu laut, so dass sie für alleinreisende und Gruppen geeignet ist. Seine Lage ist unschlagbar, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von Schlüsselansichten und Spuren. Insgesamt, ein großer Wert bleibt in einer unvergesslichen Lage.

The twizel town is very beautiful and the place was at the right place. However, the room we choose wasn’t that great. I know it’s a small town but reception area was closed by 7pm so you need to make sure you arrive before time else need to message the check in time.
