Der kleine Bruder von Qingdao ist sehr freundlich mit der Geduld! Sehr erfreulich! Ich denke, dass ich die beste Entscheidung getroffen habe, die ich auf der egyptischen Reise getroffen habe! Es gibt eine sehr saubere Atmosphäre in der Innenstadt, ich fand, dass es viele Chinesen gibt... es lohnt sich zu empfehlen

Our experience was GREAT. It is ranked as a hostel but it felt like a hotel. Private room was spacious with bed, sofa, wardrobe and private bathroom. Very clean. And the staff was beyond kind, a young team running the place both profesional and close. A special thanks to Wafaa, Asmaa and Ala - they made our trip to Cairo very special and if we return, it will be to the same place

This was an ok hostel stay. I would have rated 5/5 had it not been for 3 things:
1. Had to rent towels
2. Smoking right outside the door, which meant the reception/common area reeked of smoke whenever someone was smoking.
3. Flies were buzzing around at breakfast time.

Anständige Hostel, nahe dem Zentrum und viele Möglichkeiten für Lebensmittel sogar in Ramadan. Der Ort hat einen schönen alten Aufzug zu erleben und ein großes Dachtop. Würde empfehlen, wenn Sie nicht zu schmutzig Art Reisende sind

Das Hotel ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Das Zimmer selbst ist ordentlich und recht geräumig: Es gibt einen Kühlschrank (er macht keinen Lärm), einen Wasserkocher, Tassen, Tee selbst, einen Tisch und zwei Stühle, einen Kleiderschrank und auch einen geräumigen, aber leeren Balkon. Das Bett ist bequem, die Bettwäsche ist sauber. Kompaktes Badezimmer, gute Handtücher. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die Ägypter hupen sehr gerne und ständig, bei geschlossenem Fenster kann man nicht einschlafen und selbst bei geschlossenem Fenster gelingt es nicht gut.
Das Hotel befindet sich in einem soliden Altbau mit kleinem Aufzug.

AAnonymer BenutzerIn general, it is not bad for me to stay in a single room with a common bathroom for 10 nights.
Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building.
* Location & Transportation
Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum.
And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price.
In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes
Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones.
Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it.
* Building and room conditions
Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room.
It is quite convenient a washstand in each room.
However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler.
It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel.
* Cleanness & Safety
Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this.
* Services
There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water.
Wifi is too weak to use the internet.
Other services like laundry are satisfied.
* Others
During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally.
In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better.
And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable.
Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

GGastnutzerWhen we arrived, it was a little difficult to find the building, because there was no sign of Lucky Hostel in the lobby. However a very persistent man outside, insisted that the building with sign “El otel”, is the correct building. We trust him and we entered. Another problem, it looked like to use the elevator to 4th floor, we must have access card. We wait for about 5 minutes and fortunately there was a man came down, and we asked his help to tap on the elevator using his card. Other than that, my husband & I were happy to stay in this hostel. Our room was so big and with sofa too!! Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hot shower was very pleasant in cold morning. And we were very happy that the staff allow us to put our luggage while we were away to Luxor. We stay for total of 4 nights and we were allowed again to put our luggage while we went shopping, because our flight was in the middle of the night.

TTonglingbeinongDas Hotel hat eine tolle Lage; ein KFC ist weniger als zehn Gehminuten entfernt. Das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich, die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich, und das Frühstück war einfach, aber zufriedenstellend. Insgesamt ein sehr zufriedenstellender Aufenthalt.

Solution ** ust bring an earplug ( The one that you would receive on in airplane ) and everything's gonna be fine
In conclusion this hotel is reasonably priced for this quality. if you don't expect for something luxury but friendly , This hotel could be your choice

Personal hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sauber. Ich hatte Bedenken hinsichtlich der Sauberkeit der Bettwäsche. Sie sah sauber aus, aber das Gefühl war anders. Das Frühstück ist nahrhaft und sättigend, kann aber bei längeren Aufenthalten (mehr als zwei Tage) eintönig sein.
