This hotel was built in 1885 with historical background according to the pictures on the wall. It would be more informative if there was a more thorough descriptions next to the pictures and become a museum like Inn. We stayed in the Superior King room with balcony, the river view was excellent. This little town is very tranquil with relaxing vibe. We loved to stay in the balcony, unfortunately, there is no any BBQ or stove for cooking here, or we would love to stay more days. There is also no sun umbrella or shaded place in the balcony, and it could be very bright and hot even during 11C in the summer. Our room is the closest to the car park, but we can’t access the stairs directly down to the car park. Instead, we had to detour in the hotel, walked the a few levels of stairs with passing two doors to the car park. There are more than a dozen of stairs in the hotel. Elderly and anyone with leg or back problems need to be aware of it. 
Our room has been renovated recently. Everything maintains in very good condition, besides of the air conditioning. The air conditioning system was connected to another three rooms in the same isle. If any of the room turns on the heater while everyone is using the cool mode, the air conditioning will be shown in error. Thanks for Meghan that she was willing to come back to the hotel for us in 5 mins even it was out of her work time. She has been very helpful and nice during our stay. She is the best front desk I have seen on this island. We were happy with our stay, even we noticed that the noisy music from the pub right under the hotel level not only on in the weekend until midnight. However, we felt that compressor next to us had been noisy all day. We only felt quiet after we turned off the bathroom ventilator, air conditioning and closed the window. There was also two washing machines and one dryer on site charging only CAD$2 for each laundry. I think this is the cheapest laundry service on the island. The last but not least is the bath towels. We can’t stand with it snowing with crushes. I would suggest people bringing their towels. And the water pressure was too weak like a garden pot watering.

Zum Frühstück gab es Bagels und etwas Obst, Kaffee und Tee standen den ganzen Tag über zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, direkt im Stadtzentrum. Die Lobby war hell und sauber, die Angestellten unglaublich freundlich und gut gelaunt, und die Küche war bestens ausgestattet. Ich wohnte in einem Vierbettzimmer für Mädchen im ersten Stock. Nachts konnte ich die Musikanlage in der Lobby und Schritte im Obergeschoss hören, aber zum Schlafen war es im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung. Das Warmwasser war immer ausreichend heiß, und das Internet funktionierte einwandfrei! Ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

It was a pretty good place to stay in downtown Vancouver. I chose this hostel because I had to wait for my next flight and didn’t have much time there, but I really appreciated the staff letting me check in early. I arrived about an hour before check-in time expecting to just wait, but my room was already ready and they let me in right away, which I was very grateful for because I was exhausted and really needed some sleep. I didn’t stay long, but during my time there everything was comfortable and I had a good experience overall.

Sehr schöner Ort, um für ein paar Nächte zu stoppen. Die Lagen sind nur an der Ufer der Stadt. Sie bieten jedoch einen kostenlosen Shuttle in die Stadt in den Abenden. Zimmer waren sauber und hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Es gibt auch Wäschereien auf der Website sowie eine Heizungsschlauch. Frühstück war großartig, genossen wirklich die Waffeln. Und viel zu wählen. Das würde sicher wieder bleiben.

Mein Freund und ich waren sehr beeindruckt mit dem Arbutus Inn. Es war ein sehr sauberes Hotel und wurde neu renoviert. Die Renovierungen waren sehr schmackvoll und unser Zimmer war sehr schön. Sie könnten auch sagen, dass es neue Betten gab. Sie waren sehr komfortabel und hatten ein gutes Design. Ich war besonders beeindruckt, dass es keinen ”Rauch” Geruch in den Zimmern oder im Hotellobby gibt. Alles in allem war es eine sehr gute Erfahrung.

I stayed at Recreation Inn during my recent trip to Kelowna, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The standout for me was the Saturday breakfast – simple but on point. It was served buffet-style with a good mix of egg muffins, fruit, bread, and juice. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making for a nice start to the day. The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, but I have to admit, the condition of the room felt quite dated. The furniture and decor could really use an upgrade, and there was an unpleasant musty odor in the room that lingered throughout my stay, which definitely affected my comfort. The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to some restaurants and not far from the lake, which was a bonus. If you’re looking for a basic place to crash for a night or two and don’t mind a bit of an older vibe, it could work. But if you’re sensitive to smell or looking for something modern and more refreshed, this might not be the best fit.

Wir hatten eine große Erfahrung mit diesem Ort, gemütliche, ruhige Aufenthaltsort. Sehr bequeme Lage, Zimmer ist sauber, alle Einrichtungen sind gut gepflegt. Wir wurden mit Kaffee und Tee kostenlos angeboten, alle Anweisungen wurden geduldig erklärt. Wir werden unsere erste Wahl sein, wenn wir nächstes Mal Richmond besuchen.

Perfekte Lage für die Innenstadt von Vancouver mit viel Angebot, das Personal schien nett, aber der Typ an der Rezeption am Abend war nicht beeindruckt. Sehr kurz angebunden und wenig hilfsbereit und abweisend. Die anderen Mitarbeiter, mit denen ich zu tun hatte, schienen nett und freundlich. Angeschlossen an die Q Bar, die abends Veranstaltungen veranstaltet, was großartig ist, um Kontakte zu knüpfen, aber nicht zu empfehlen, wenn Sie dort sind und früher ins Bett gehen möchten, da die Musik laut ist und störend sein kann. Die Sauberkeit war durchschnittlich, aber was man von einem Hostel erwarten würde, da es nicht um die Reinigung geht, sondern manchmal darum, dass die Leute dort übernachten und Toiletten und Duschbereiche für andere Gäste nicht wirklich respektieren. Hat meine Erfahrung nicht beeinträchtigt und ist wahrscheinlich das, was man von einem der günstigeren Hostels in der Gegend erwarten würde

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, es gibt auch Supermärkte und Essen in der Umgebung, die man kaufen kann Das Samsung Hotel ist gut, in der Nähe des Fährs, der Vorteil ist auch der Nachteil, dass in der Nähe des Flughafens die Stimme des Flugzeugs am Abend gehört wird. Und es gibt so viele Zimmer mit einem Elektroschrank, morgens kann ich nicht lange warten, bis ich in den Elektroschrank bin.

Ich war sehr beeindruckt mit dem Service. Der Gastagent war sehr hilfreich bei der Befriedigung meiner Anfragen. Es ist immer schön, freundlich und hilfreich Menschen zu sehen
