"Great location walking distance from Perth train station. Hostel is staffed 24/7 with day storage for luggage and a huge communal space where you can chill and hang out. Nearby cafes, food, convenience store, post office etc. Very walkable to the main city area and Northbridge. Close to blue CAT bus stop just outside WA Museum. They have a basic kitchen (no stove) with air fryers, microwaves, and kettles and fridge space to store your food but is often crowded during meal times. There is a bar that offer drinks and simple meals within the premises. We had a private twin room with ensuite bathroom, space is good enough for two. Excellent housekeeping, very clean. You can request for a hairdryer if you need, Kudos to reception Eddie who has been very helpful with tourists tips and suggestions. Our second stay here and will highly recommend for tourists on short stays. There are a good mix of tourists and long stayers with the dormitories, I believe."

"This place is great good value for money. But I would think twice before staying here on a Thursday or weekend if you need to sleep which I did. As it’s packed on the weekend and then when pub closed patrons came back to their room and kept partying. When I asked people to shut up I was told basically to “go away” what was most annoying was apparently one of the people making noise worked at the roey. So although I still take the place I just won’t stay on weekends. But overall still good value for money and great service and nice rooms."

"Hi , YHA Fremantle Prison, Wow! What an amazing experience and im so glad i stayed here, and thankyou so much for being so accommadting and understanding , and well for letting me book with late notice and guided me to after hours checkin, and well the guy who was working after hours on the 31st May Sunday night,...... 💯👌🙏❤️ so welcoming and was down to earth, and made me feel good about the whole.stay and just a very calming presence and over the phone also , very understanding and reassured me to not stress and be safe and to get here when i get here. He was thankful i got there at reasonable hour, cosidering it was after 9pm , was travelling from the city and through the storm so it was 10.30pm maybe a little after 10.45pm,...... and so he was very grateful but very good about me being a late check in , as i rang to make sure i was able to stay without a passport. I.was very happy to find that i could book without passport 🙏🥹💯❤️👌 I had the best night sleep, the best shower before bed, the facilities were amazing and the whole experience was beyond my expectations and exceeded all my thoughts of what was to be. I cant thank you guys enough! I will be back! Im staying longer next time so i can explore the Fremantle Prison as i have wanted to now for many.of years and the canal tour also ive wanted.to always do. The grounds, the care , the information on history , on every wall, evey building, everything was to standard and presentation that was 11/10 👌💯 brillant! I am and was well impressed! And cant wait to stay again and with a little more pre planning and booking earlier on and having a bit more a plan next trip. As my stay at YHA was very last minute , and because i missed my TransWA bus back to Kojonup.....😏 And well my decision to go up to Perth was very last minute and decision made only 2 days prior to going , and so as it was last minute decision and well i had an idea of a plan of where and who to see while up there, as being last minute things always dont go to plan and so when those moments happened i just rolled with the punches and went with the flow of things, and trusted my gut instinct and trusted my journey and the journey in life i am and well was on while in Perth and so all roads had led me to where i was meant to be , and well all fell into plaxe and worked out in the end and so im grateful beyond words! Truely and honestly 🥹🙏❤️💯😊 Thanks again , and wow amazing stay! And highly recommend! Thankyou so much for the feeling of saftey also being a single female traveller on her own. "Our family was very big and comfortable. It is old style but we like it that way. The beddings are very clean and professionally made up and the mattress is firm and very comfortable like those in international hotels. We did not get hot water at night, maybe over utilised but it was okay in the morning. Maybe it is more cost saving to install instant heaters to save water wastage from waiting for the hot water with the running tap. There was some simple continental breakfast. We had issues with checking in but it was more to do with not reading their check in emails advice very carefully. Despite this and the hot water, we would still recommend this place for travellers."

"Es ist ein Hostel mit Privatzimmern und Gemeinschaftsbad. Man kann selbst einchecken und bekommt frische Bettwäsche und eine Decke. Handtücher muss man vorher fragen. Die Lage ist super und mit den Bussen von Transperth gut zu erreichen. Das Hostel hat außerdem eine riesige Gemeinschaftsküche mit allem nötigen Geschirr. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"That was great and cleaner than I expected . Pretty much everything in the room, except kitchen. This hostel isn’t typical party hostel. I reckon everyone would stay there without stress. I’d love to stay here again if I’ve got chance."

"위, 좌우가 나무판으로 둘러싸인 캡슐 형태라 생각보다 훨씬 아늑하고 안정감이 있었습니다. 무엇보다 침구가 정말 깨끗하고 향긋해서 너무 좋았어요! 2층 침대라 올라갈 때 삐걱거리거나 다른 사람들에게 방해가 될까 걱정했는데, 굉장히 튼튼하고 소리도 거의 나지 않아 편하게 이용할 수 있었습니다. 화장실과 샤워시설도 매우 깨끗하고 시설이 좋았습니다. 샤워공간에 샤워용품을 올려둘 선반이 없는 점은 조금 아쉬웠어요. 아침에 제공되는 시리얼은 단맛이 거의 없어 개인적으로는 조금 아쉬웠고, 로비는 다소 어수선한 느낌이 있으며 소파 등 휴식 공간의 가구들이 오래되어 편하게 쉬기에는 조금 아쉬웠습니다. 하지만 숙소 입구가 아주 크고 튼튼한 철문으로 되어 있어 보안 면에서도 안심이 되었고, 무엇보다 잠자리와 샤워공간처럼 호스텔에서 가장 중요한 부분이 만족스러웠습니다. 지금까지 머물렀던 호스텔 중에서도 특히 안정감을 많이 느꼈던 곳이에요. 화려하진 않지만 필요한 부분에 충실한, 실속 있는 호스텔이라고 생각합니다!"

"Die Lage ist hervorragend, etwa 15 Gehminuten vom Flughafen und 10 Gehminuten von Chinatown entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und helfen Ihnen bei allen Fragen weiter. Die Gemeinschaftsräume werden täglich gereinigt, sodass ich sie problemlos nutzen konnte. Das Zimmer ist nicht sehr groß, aber zum Übernachten war es in Ordnung. Soweit ich von anderen gehört habe, schien der Komfort des Zimmers von den Personen abzuhängen, die dort wohnten. Mein Zimmer war ein gemischtes 6-Personen-Zimmer, und es waren viele Männer dort, aber die meisten Leute hielten ihr Gepäck kompakt und verstauten ihre Sachen in Schließfächern oder um das Bett herum, sodass es komfortabel und ruhig war. Draußen ist es normalerweise bis 23 Uhr laut."
