"Wonderful staff, but the hotel is a compromise The staff here are genuinely lovely — warm, attentive, and always willing to help. That's the highlight of the stay, and it deserves real credit. But the hotel itself is a compromise. The main draw is the outdoor pool, which is excellent — and honestly, there's nothing of this quality anywhere else in the city. The problem is everything around it. The hotel sits far from the historic center, so you're dependent on taxis to get anywhere worth seeing. The views from the rooms look out onto old Soviet-era buildings with little charm, and there's a layer of dust over everything. The pool is where the real frustrations begin. It's open to non-guests for a fee, which means it's frequently overcrowded — especially on weekends, when there's often simply no space. Many of the local visitors behave with little regard for others: jumping in, shouting, treating it like a public party rather than a hotel pool. Some show up and drink heavily. During our stay there was a man who was completely, falling-down drunk — he stumbled and nearly cracked his head open several times. The staff had no idea how to handle it. They let him lie around, swim, even dance, while children of paying guests were right there in the water nearby. For a spa team, this is real unprofessionalism — there was no intervention, no sense of safety, no management of the situation at all. On top of that, Sundays are women-only days, with men not allowed in at all. I understand the intent, but if you've traveled here and paid specifically for the pool, that's a significant loss - because without the pool, the hotel is honestly rather grim and uninteresting. In short: the people who work here are kind, and the pool is the best in town. But the location, the surroundings, the overcrowding, and especially the spa staff's inability to maintain a safe, professional environment make this a place you choose despite its flaws, not because of them."

"Dies ist ein brandneues Hotel, alles ist neu, die Zimmer sind sauber, der Service an der Rezeption ist sehr gut, das Ein- und Auschecken verlief reibungslos. Buchara ist nicht groß. Vom Hotel aus können Sie jeden malerischen Ort schnell mit dem Taxi erreichen. Neben dem Hotel befindet sich mitten auf der Straße ein Park, in dem man nachts sehr bequem spazieren gehen kann, und es gibt auch Restaurants. Alles in allem verdient es Fünf-Sterne-Standards und -Service."

"Отличный семейный отель! Расположен очень удобно - в пешей доступности от старого города, ближайшая достопримечательность - Ляби-Хауз. До входа в отель можно доехать на такси, хотя до некоторых объектов в старом городе можно дойти только пешком. Персонал гостиницы очень дружелюбный, гостеприимный. Хозяин гостиницы включил отопление, поскольку на улице ночью уже стало холодно. Можно оставить вещи в гостинице после выселения, погулять по городу еще несколько часов до поезда. Понравились завтраки. Особенно запомнилась восхитительная домашняя выпечка, дыни, арбузы!"

"Insgesamt ist es in Ordnung. Das Hotel ist neu, aber der größte Nachteil sind die etwas kleinen Zimmer. Früher waren die Zimmer etwas außerhalb des Stadtzentrums größer. Abgesehen vom Doppelbett gab es aber nicht viel Platz. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Geldautomat. Das Frühstück ist recht gut, eine Mischung aus westlichen und ukrainischen Gerichten, und die Erdbeeren sind eine nette Geste. Taxis sind leicht zu bekommen; die Altstadt ist etwa 10 Kilometer entfernt. Gegenüber befindet sich eine Bäckerei und etwa einen Kilometer entfernt ein Restaurant, sodass man Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellen kann."

"Das Mercure Hotel ist ein so schönes Juwel in Buchara. Wir waren für 4 Nächte hier und alles war fantastisch. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön mit modernem Design und einem Hauch von traditionellem Charme! Wir liebten den Swimmingpool und das Hamam vor Ort und nutzten sie jeden Tag. Wir gingen auch gerne ins Saffron, das Restaurant/die Bar im Hotel, mit fantastischem Essen, nettem Ambiente und einer geräumigen Terrasse mit Blick auf die Altstadt. Obwohl das Hotel am Rande der Altstadt liegt, sind die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir waren absolut begeistert von diesem Ort und können ihn allen, die Buchara besuchen, wärmstens empfehlen!!"

"I decided to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had a swimming pool and was great value for money. Getting to Dunyo Palace was very easy on public transport as I caught bus no 33 from the centre of Bukhara straight to the outside of the hotel. It was easy. I have stayed at Dunyo palace before and I had a great stay. My room was bigger than expected with a fridge, air conditioning and a kettle. I was greeted by the nice reception lady she was very helpful. I had breakfast and it was a buffet with a large selection of Uzbekistan breakfast foods. An omelette was freshly prepared for me in the mornings. The hotel pool was really nice to swim in after a long day walking around sight seeing in Bukhara. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will stay again in the future. The images I share are of the room I stayed in on my departure, the air conditioning, and the bathroom area. I’ve also added the places I visited while staying there. I have already added a lot of images to my last feedback if you want to check it out."

"The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located, with many of Bukhara’s main attractions within walking distance. Everything is brand new, and I would highly recommend this hotel. I visit Bukhara at least twice a year, and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at in the city so far. The hotel had only been open for about a week during my stay, so I believe some minor issues are simply because the staff are still getting used to the systems and procedures. For example, my reservation showed that the payment had already been made, but at checkout I was told that the payment had not yet appeared in their account. I had to wait for around 5–10 minutes while they checked the situation, but eventually everything was sorted out and I was able to leave without any problem. Considering how new the hotel is, I completely understand these minor issues. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again."

"Wir kamen am Abend des 4. März in diesem Hotel an und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir erhielten sogar ein Zimmer-Upgrade – vielen Dank dafür! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich, geruchsfrei und entsprach dem Preis. Die Rezeptionisten reagierten prompt auf alle unsere Anmerkungen und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Ich halte dieses Hotel für eines der besten in Buchara und kann es allen Reisenden wärmstens empfehlen."

"Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit hervorragender Service, in einem Spaziergang aus der alten Stadt. Wir haben ein Familienzimmer, bestehend aus zwei Standards an die Inter-Zimmer-Tür, sehr bequem für 4 Personen! Das Zimmer verfügt über alle notwendigen, gute Reparatur und komfortable Möbel. Auf dem Atemweg hat mit allen Fragen geholfen - Buchung eines Tischs im Restaurant, Umtausch von Währungen usw.. Das einzige, was ein wenig beunruhigt war - ziemlich bescheiden im Vergleich zu Hiva und Samarkand Frühstück, warme Gerichte waren wenig, baken in Fabrikverpackungen, aber nicht schlechten Kaffee."
