"Very good location near the airport for travelers. The staff were very helpful to arrange early transport for us. In such a large hotel, some omissions were a surprise, such as no bar seating (there is a bar, but no cocktails or beer, only full size liquor bottle sales), and no hot water for the shower. AC was good, and rooms are clean, well cared for."

"Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich von dieser Resortunterkunft mehr erwartet, da mir meine Freunde einen Aufenthalt hier empfohlen hatten. Das Personal war nicht aufmerksam und hat uns nicht einmal freundliche Gastfreundschaft entgegengebracht. Sie waren etwas snobistisch, und als wir in ihrem Massagezentrum eine Massage bekamen, entspannten wir uns am Ende unseres Urlaubs nicht, sondern mein Freund hatte stattdessen verspannte Schultern. Ich bin philippinischer Abstammung, aber nicht auf dem Land aufgewachsen und habe einen anderen Reisepass. Beim Einchecken fragte mich das Personal nach einem gültigen Ausweis auf Philippinisch, aber natürlich zeigte ich meinen Reisepass vor, aber sie verdrehte die Augen, als sie sah, dass ich einen Reisepass und nicht ihren vermeintlich „gültigen Ausweis“ hatte. Ich habe hier einfach so viel Verbitterung und Vorurteile von allen Mitarbeitern gespürt, weil Englisch meine Muttersprache ist und ich in meiner Kindheit und im Alltag kaum Philippinisch spreche, sodass sich ihre Einstellung mir gegenüber komplett ändert, weil sie denken, ich würde nur so tun oder anmaßend sein."

"Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich. Es ist unvermeidlich, dass der Boden schmutzig ist, wenn man vom Surfen zurückkommt. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer und man kann den Sonnenaufgang beobachten, aber es ist voller spitzer Felsen und hat keinen Strand. Auch das Abendessen ist in Ordnung. Wer nicht auswärts essen möchte, kann auch im Hotelrestaurant essen. Eine große Gefahr hatte ich zuvor nicht erwartet: Im Hotelrestaurant gab es immer eine Band und einen DJ, aber die Lautstärke war enorm und es dauerte bis 11 Uhr oder sogar Mitternacht. Auch wenn man tagsüber vom Surfen müde ist, kann man nachts kaum einschlafen. In nur wenigen Tagen bin ich dort auf mehrere Gästewellen gestoßen, die unerträglich waren und vorzeitig ausziehen wollten. Doch die Hotelleitung wirkt betrunken und den Beschwerden der Gäste gegenüber völlig gleichgültig. Auch die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilflos. Sie trauten sich nur, mir unter vier Augen zu sagen, dass dies vorher nicht der Fall gewesen sei und dass die neue Geschäftsleitung „eine ganz wunderbare Fantasie“ gehabt habe. Außerdem ist WLAN immer vorhanden, aber nicht vorhanden"

"It has been the best vacation ever ! Their staff is just amazing, always willing to help and make our stay comfortable, convenient and easy. The location is just perfect. We have all the main points and restaurants closer so, we just needed to walk and no need to use the scooter or tuk tuk. Philippines people is awesome, we were in Coron before but, after visiting Siargao we are sure that we have to come back. If you want to come to Siargao please don’t have any doubt to choose Isla Cabana resort."
