Aufgrund der späten Ankunftszeit hat das Hotel mir auch den Abendessen bestellt, so dass es sich bei unserer Ankunft genießen konnte. Schließlich das Essen auferwartet lecker. Ich empfehle Ihnen, das Shanker Hotel zu wählen. Wo immer es sich um einen Urlaub oder eine Feier handelt, ist es die beste Wahl."

"Ich habe den Service im Hotel sehr genossen. Der Hotelmanager war überaus freundlich; er bewahrte sogar mein Handtuch auf, nachdem ich es vergessen hatte. Der Joghurt zum Frühstück war köstlich. Umgebung: Das Hotel liegt in Flughafennähe. Der Innenhof ist wunderschön und gemütlich – ideal zum Entspannen. Ausstattung: Die Zimmer sind sehr individuell gestaltet, mit Holzfenstern und einer leichten Anlehnung an die traditionelle Architektur. Service: Der Hotelservice war ausgezeichnet, allerdings habe ich im Schmuck- und Souvenirladen im Innenhof gefälschte Waren gekauft. Bitte seien Sie vorsichtig und überprüfen Sie die Echtheit der Artikel, um Betrug zu vermeiden."

"Ein absolut fantastisches Hotel, nur 15 Gehminuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Alles war blitzsauber und komfortabel, und ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Der Fitnessraum ist bestens ausgestattet und bietet einen tollen Blick über die Stadt. Das Frühstück war ein weiteres Highlight und bot eine große Auswahl an köstlichen nepalesischen, indischen und westlichen Speisen. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren überaus hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sie halfen mir, Taxis zu einem günstigeren Preis als den überteuerten Touristentarifen zu rufen und bewahrten mein Gepäck über Nacht auf, während ich an einem Yoga-Retreat teilnahm. Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen!"

"Das Everest Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu ist ein schönes Gem – in traditioneller Stil, und alles fühlt sich neu und unsspottlich sauber. Das Frühstück war ein großartiges Start am Tag, mit einer Vielzahl von Optionen, darunter frische Saft, Tee, Kaffee, Obst, Toast, Käse und leckere Gewürze. Was dieses Hotel wirklich getrennt hat, war ihr ausgezeichnetes Tour Desk. Wir haben unseren Zug zum Everest Base Camp mit ihnen reserviert und es erschien die beste Entscheidung! Nicht nur bieten sie uns den wettbewerbsfähigsten Preis im Vergleich zu allen anderen Tour-Agenturen, die wir überprüft haben, sondern unser Führer, Ram Bhandari (der auch ein Mitarbeiter im Hotel ist), war wirklich hervorragend. Er war unglaublich hilfreich, auf unsere Sicherheit während des gesamten Streckens achtend und sicherte, dass wir eine tolle Unterkunft auf dem Weg hatten. Wir können nicht empfehlen Everest Boutique Hotel genug – Buchen Sie mit ihnen, und Sie werden nicht enttäuscht!"

"I stayed at Hyatt Centric Kathmandu and was pleasantly surprised — the room was actually better than in the photos! Spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning views of the mountains, the city, and even the Monkey Temple. Definitely a highlight of the stay. The rooftop pool was decent, not too crowded and with a nice ambiance. I also ordered room service once — the food was just okay, and the breakfast was a bit underwhelming, especially for a Hyatt. The selection was quite limited for this brand's usual standard. One downside was my arrival experience. I came down from a taxi and noticed there were no bellboys or concierge staff outside to help with my luggage — maybe due to a staff shortage? Only once I approached the lobby did a staff member assist me and take my bags to the room. Thankfully, check-in itself was smooth and fast, and I appreciated being allowed to enter my room before the standard 2 PM check-in time. The welcome drink was also a nice touch. All in all, the room and view were excellent — probably the best part of this Hyatt. Just a bit more attention to guest arrival and food variety would make the experience even better."

"The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?"
