I stayed at the Pullman Liverpool Hotel for one night as a last-minute booking after reading several reviews and watching a few TikTok videos—and I’m glad I did. On arrival, I was greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and made my way up to my room without any hassle. I had emailed ahead requesting a nice view as it was my first time in Liverpool. I was placed on the 8th floor, which was great, but unfortunately my view overlooked the roof of another building. I did ask if this could be changed, but the hotel was fully booked due to the Easter break, which I completely understood. The room itself was comfortable and overall made for a pleasant stay. The location is a big plus—just a short walk to the Liverpool Museum, bars, restaurants, the wheel, and plenty of shops for a bit of retail therapy. Parking is quite expensive, but the hotel does stamp your ticket which gives you a discount. I checked in at 3:30pm, checked out at 12, and paid £18 for parking—without the discount, it could easily cost 5–8 times more. Now for the negatives: cleanliness could definitely be improved. I met some of the cleaners when checking out—lovely, friendly staff—but the room needed more attention. There was dust on surfaces, hair on the tissue container, only two tissues left, the bathroom and mirrors weren’t cleaned thoroughly, and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled, so after a few pumps there was none left. Overall, despite the cleaning issues, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Booked for Haydock Races however the race day got cancelled unfortunately.  We were a group of 10 and still went to the hotel.  We went into Newton Le Willow had drinks and a curry.  Hotel is nice however looking tired.  Towel rail was on roasting all day/night which made the bathroom far too hot.  Otherwise a nice room.

Das Hotel ist erstaunlich, die Lage ist großartig und das Personal ist hervorragend. Zimmer können ein wenig dunkel, nicht so groß für die Bewerbung Make-up, aber erstaunlich für das Schlafen. Betten waren unglaublich komfortabel.

The hotel was ideally situated where we didn't have to walk far to the venues which were approx 6-10 minutes walk. The hotel has a large underground car park that kept our car safe and secure, not many hotels have a bar and seating for guests which we thought was convenient, the room was modern, very clean and loved the high pressure shower that is adjustable, breakfast was lovely we prefer a full English with all the trimmings, though there is the continental option and as it was a buffet we ate as much as we pleased. Lots of things to do and see in Liverpool and a large shopping centre that we discovered on our way back from the Cavern club and eateries on the dock side All in all a brilliant first stay in this hotel and 2nd time in Liverpool...oh and a shout out to the receptionist who helped me with our parking, very patient. We are planning our next stay at this hotel for the near future.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now and you cannot beat its location. Straight out of the train station, turn right, and it's there. 5 mins walk to the shops and restaurants. Rooms are adequate size, fairly basic but perfectly acceptable for a one night stay. Bed was very comfy along with the pillows and bedding. Bar lacks any atmosphere which is a shame. Reception staff are always ready to give you a great welcome. Would recommend upgrading to get a St.George's view room.

Negative points from our stay I travelled with my 11 year old grandson, I booked us a twin room, which we got. Unfortunately, the room was an adjoining room to a double and the ”activity” noises from the other room were so bad that we checked out at 11pm as I didn't want my grandson to have to experience that. It literally sounded like they were in the room with us. I would perhaps suggest that in the future you look at your guest list and unless adjoining rooms are with the same party, where children are in a twin, look to accommodate the couple in another part of the hotel where possible. I was disappointed that we were expected to pay £5 each to use the pool as I have never stayed at an hotel where it is not included in the room price. Positive All the staff were really friendly and helped as much as they could. The night Duty Manager was especially helpful and empathetic to my room dilemma but was unable to find us an alternative twin room, only a double which was not appropriate for us. We ate in the bar and the food was exceptional although a little pricey. The location was good and the hotel was easy to find. Be careful when you leave as there are two speed bumps on the exit, and no matter how slow you are going, it feels and sounds like your cars insides are dropping out. Rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable.

Location was perfect. Staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly and professional. Room was clean and amenities were great. Only one thing I can complain about was I asked for a double bed. I was given a room with two single beds. I didn’t complain and my wife and I slept in single beds. I should have asked for the room I required but that’s my fault. To conclude, I would stay in this hotel again and I recommend it to others.

I’m a rather particular solo traveller with a sensitivity to light, noise, and temperature, so comfort matters enormously to me. My two-night stay at Hope Street Hotel, in room G02, was nothing short of delightful. The real manual key, spacious layout, and wooden floors created a welcoming, homely atmosphere. The highlight was undoubtedly the free-standing bath with its view over the festively lit Hope Street; it was such a treat to relax and watch the world go by that I happily cancelled my spa booking. I’d initially worried the central location might be noisy, but I slept soundly throughout. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tips: • Bringing a few battery-powered tea lights made the bathroom feel cosy, as the lighting is quite minimal. • The pillows, while luxurious, were on the softer side. If you prefer firmer support, a small memory foam pillow is worth packing. • It can get a touch chilly at night, so turning the heating up to 26 degrees keeps things comfortable.

Es ist ein fabulöses Hotel und wir haben viele Male geblieben, aber diese Zeit, in kaltem Wetter, war die Hotelbar so kalt, Sie mussten eine Duvet-Coat tragen und das Schlafzimmer war auch sehr kalt. Es war nicht nur uns, viele Gäste waren betroffen. Ich hatte das Hotel nur nichts zu befürchten. Sie hätten eine industrielle Heizung angestellt, um die Bar warm zu halten (das Luftverkleidung über die Lobbytüren schien fehlgeschlagen zu sein), aber es gab eine völlige Mangel an Aktion. Die armen Rezeptoren waren sehr kalt und nutzten Muffs, um ihre Hände warm zu halten. Sie würden denken, sie würden kostenlose heiße Getränke oder eine Art Belohnung für die Unannehmlichkeiten geben, aber nein, Arroganz herrschte und die Gäste mussten das Beste daraus machen. Nicht, was Sie in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarten. Ich hoffe, die Führung hört diese Kritiken und entschuldigt alle ihre Gäste, die verblieben waren. Kommen Sie Titanic, Sie können besser als das. Ich werde in 3 Wochen zurück sein, um zu prüfen, so Fingern gekreuzt.
