"Ein paar Mängel in den Türmen, aber insgesamt war es für mich toller „Budget-Luxus“ in einer wirklich praktischen Lage. Schönes altes Hotel, schöner Barbereich mit Blick auf die Gärten. Bequeme Chesterfield-Lounges und manchmal Live-Musik und Tanz. Verwinkelte Flure und Treppen. Ihr Zimmer könnte also ein Stück weit zu Fuß entfernt sein, durch lustige kleine Flure um Ecken und Treppen, also überprüfen Sie dies, bevor Sie den Check-in-Schalter verlassen! Viele Leute hatten Probleme, ihr Zimmer zu finden. Dann waren die Schlüsselkarten mehrmals nicht richtig programmiert, sodass ich zurück zum Schreibtisch und zurück ins Zimmer gehen musste. Aber abgesehen davon, dass ich etwas Schimmel von einer Wand wischen musste … insgesamt war ich mit dem Aufenthalt und der Lage zufrieden, da ich auf Trip.com ein gutes Angebot für 35 £ pro Nacht bekommen habe. Und sie haben mein Zimmer von einem Zimmer ohne Fenster (ist das überhaupt legal? Ein Zimmer ohne Fenster zu verkaufen) auf ein kleines Doppelzimmer mit zu öffnendem Fenster und Bad aufgewertet. Also war ich zufrieden. Es gibt keine Zimmerreinigung, also müssen Sie bei einem Aufenthalt von ein paar Tagen das Housekeeping oder die Rezeption um mehr Zubehör bitten. Zum Abschluss meiner Küstenwanderung liegt dieses Hotel 25 Minuten mit dem Bus oder 15 Minuten mit dem Zug von Poole entfernt. Es liegt direkt neben Bournemath Beach, der Promenade und dem Pier in Bournemouth an den Buslinien 5, M1 und M2. Nehmen Sie vom Bahnhof den Bus Nr. 5, der Sie nur wenige Meter vor der Tür auf der Bath Road absetzt. Für eine Küstenwanderung fährt Bus 50 vom oberen Ende der Bath Road nach Swanage für 2 £, einschließlich der Fährüberfahrt in Sandbanks. Danach können Sie bei Bedarf einen weiteren Bus nach Durdle Door nehmen. Überprüfen Sie die Busfahrpläne. Die Fährüberfahrt von Shell Bay nach Sandbanks ist kostenlos oder kostet 1 £ in einer anderen Direktverbindung (Sandbanks nach Shell Bay). Ich bin vom Bath Spa Hotel entlang der Strandpromenade nach Sandbanks gelaufen. Wirklich ein schöner langer Spaziergang. Das Hotel bietet ein gutes Frühstücksbuffet für 12 £ und ein durchschnittliches Abendbuffet (an dem Abend, an dem ich dort war) für 15 £. Es gab genug leckere Sachen, um es für mich lohnenswert zu machen. Kommen Sie früh, da sie aufhören, das Essen aufzufüllen, wenn nicht viel los ist und die Sachen ausgehen. Es ist ein schönes Ambiente zum Essen mit Blick auf schöne Rasenflächen und einen Loungebereich im Freien. Das Personal im Essbereich war wirklich nett und hilfsbereit und fröhlich. Ich habe den Pool und den Whirlpool nicht benutzt, aber sie sahen in einem separaten Wintergarten-Außenbereich toll aus. Einige Mitarbeiter waren in ihrem Service 5-Sterne-Klasse, eine Bardame war fast unhöflich und sehr wenig hilfsbereit, als ich nach Wein fragte, sagte sie nur „Ich weiß nicht“ und verwies mich nicht auf die Getränkekarte, bis ich ein paar weitere Fragen stellte und sie schließlich sagte „Ja, dort an der Bar“, als ob ich das hätte wissen müssen. Der Rest des Personals war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, nachdem ich ein paar Tage geblieben war. Das Hotel ist riesig und ein bisschen wie ein Kaninchenbau. Ein Zimmer, das sie mir gaben, war 21 Stufen hoch und ich sagte, dass ich auf keinen Fall meinen großen Koffer da hochschleppen würde, also änderte sie es problemlos in ein Stockwerk mit Aufzug. Überprüfen Sie also diese Details und akzeptieren Sie nicht, womit Sie unzufrieden sind, sonst versuchen sie, damit durchzukommen, wenn sie können. Bleiben Sie standhaft."

"Stayed here in March 2026 with my family. Overall below average experience. There was only one passengers lift which was out of service and service lift was very small for a stroller and everyone staying on higher floors were struggling. Outdoor pool was closed due to season but heated pool was also not functional. Staff was not rude but they were not Marriott level, most of the requests were declined without any work arounds. I booked a sew view room and it was very compact, other things were manageable but toilet seat was not. It had very less space that you couldn’t sit properly to poop :) Breakfast options were good. Based on my experience I didn’t feel it like Marriott and I would not be able to recommend this to anyone."

"We recently stayed here as a family of four and found the superior room much smaller than expected. It felt quite cramped for a family, and the bathroom was also very small. The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. The regular price is around £230 per night, which I don't think is good value. I booked it on a deal for £170, but even at that price, it still felt overpriced. Another disappointment was the air conditioning. Even when set to the lowest temperature (16°C), the room never became properly cold. On top of that, we were constantly disturbed by heavy footsteps from the room above, waking us up every couple of hours around 12am, 2am, 4am, and 6am, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. No fridge at the same time which other hotels cheaper have. We also had an issue with the toilet, which wouldn’t flush throughout our stay. This was a major inconvenience and should have been fixed promptly. On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The swimming pool was also clean and well maintained. Overall, while the service and pool were good, the small room, tiny bathroom, ineffective air conditioning, noise issues, and high price made the stay disappointing."

"I recently stayed at this hotel for my holiday and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The hotel location was perfect, close to the beach and local attractions. I especially enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the relaxing swimming pool area. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere made the holiday very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Amazing hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent food. The location was perfect for our holiday, and the service was outstanding. I would happily stay here again."

"The cleanest hotel I’ve been to in Bournemouth, reception was fantastic, we came from a very long travel and arrived earlier than expected and they allowed us to check in, also their breakfast was very good."

"We had a 3 day stay at the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch. We ate dinner there twice - once at ”The Upper Deck” and once at ”The Jetty”. Both meals were excellent: we had lovely tables, the food was great and the service made us feel special. The experience at breakfast was the same, with attentive service from all the staff and great food served on the open veranda. Although we were using the hotel as a base for our walks around the area, we also used the spa which was well maintained and had all the facilities you could want. We did have an issue with our assigned room which was not as ordered from Trip.com. Although the reception team reconfirmed they had allocated the room accurately based on what Trip.com had ordered for us, the Cherry the reception manager took it on herself to compensate us for the mismatch. From start to finish the service at The Harbour was outstanding. All the staff that served us in reception, the bar, the restaurants and the spa were helpful, efficient and friendly. Although our room was smaller than we'd ordered, it was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in, this in no small part due to the professionalism and caring attitude of the staff team. We will return ! "

"Great location with parking space, which is quite luxury in Bournemouth at this popular season. We were arranged a large room next to the road. However, the night club was so annoying in the evening. After complaining, the staff immediately changed a quieter room. The high ceiling in the guest room is a good selling point. However, the swimming pool is a bit tiny and close too early at 8:00. Over all, it meets our expectations."

"This was our second visit to this hotel, we have unfortunately had the same experience twice. The hotel itself is lovely with great facilities. Rooms are lovely, Beds are huge and extremely comfy. Fluffy, luxury towels. The Pool area and pool are lovely, feel like you are abroad on a hot day. Although it is a fight for a Sun lounger. However it’s completely let down by the staff. The bar staffs attitude was appalling, it was an inconvenience for them to get our drinks each time. We had a Roast dinner at Old Harry Rocks - staff were much better in there and v accommodating, although I do believe this this a separate company to the hotel and it shows. Beef was tough in parts but still nice. Pork was lovely. On booking, breakfast is charged at £22 at but in the hotel it’s £15 so don’t fall into that trap. The staff had no idea what they were doing. They first couldn’t get our drinks order right, then they messed up our simple breakfast order. Some of us nearly finishing our breakfast before others even got their meal. The breakfast itself was very small, we were also only given half a mushroom?? For £22/£15 I would at least expect to have a whole Mushroom… They then didn’t know how to use the card machine..  Before we left we used the Spa, small but nice. Sauna was closed & pool was freezing. Hot Tub also wasn’t very warm.  Overall it was not a great experience, we will not be returning. To pay £260 minimum for a room for extremely poor service is criminal."

"Upon checking in was told breakfast is till 10 am Next day in the morning was coming to have breakfast with kids at 9:40 apparently too late. Went back to the reception they said oh sorry it’s open till 10 am on weekends. Left with 2 kids without breakfast and no complimentary was offered considering misleading information from the receptionist on check in. We travelled on hottest day by train with delayed service 4 hours to get here. Also, felt intimidated by pool staff teice on 2 different days asking me who I am and are we were guests ?:( seriously? Did they think I just walked in randomly from the street? Shocking! Me and my two kids felt unwelcome and placed in embarrassment in front of others because I had to verify that I am guest and I had paid to be here:( that’s not 4 stars customer service! I travel around the world but here felt either ****** or discrimination not sure what it was felt odd. Had to book another hotel because didn’t like the whole experience and attitude from the staff! Also their spa and indoor pool is actually in the other hotel next by. Which was odd we never made as didn’t want to move around from one building to another for spa. Receptionist were abrupt and couldn’t be bothered to spare simple smile. Not happy at all. Bathrooms shower it terrible no power couldn’t even wash my hair off the soap. Basically not recommend due to these issues I had experienced."

"Das Hotel ist etwas alt und auf drei Sternen Ebene im Inland, aber es ist noch sauber und sauber. Sehr ruhig. Ungefähr 100 bis 200 m vom Meer entfernt, sehr nahe, aber es braucht einen nächsten 50 m langen Skigebiet. Das Wetter im Juli ist noch ein bisschen kalt und das Untersee ist unmöglich. Die Stadt ist sehr klein, und das Ziel ist etwa 1 km rechts vom Hotel aus der Ski-Rolle. Sie gehen zu Old Harry Rocks und Durdle durch die Fahrt in einer halben Stunde und einer Stunde, nicht weit."
