Therefore, I found the hotel's location convenient, as: ▪︎the bus stop to and from the train station is a 1-minute walk away. ▪︎Aksu's old streets (though not particularly interesting) and the night market are about a 20-minute walk away. ▪︎A lively night market sets up in the evening just around the corner from the hotel. ▪︎The Cultural and Tourist Distribution Center – where buses and shared taxis depart for Wensu Grand Canyon – is easily and quickly accessible on foot in about 20 minutes. Service: ▪︎Excellent welcome at both check-in and check-out. The young woman was able to provide me with information and efficiently direct me to the Tourist Distribution Center for my visit to the Grand Canyon. ▪︎One comment: there was no follow-up to my request, made at the time of booking, for a ride to the train station upon my arrival. Nor was there any offer of a ride to the station at check-out. Perhaps this should be considered as a standard practice. Surroundings: ▪︎A very decent hotel, which exudes a cozy atmosphere from the moment you enter, with its spacious lobby, decor, and layout, and offers typical Chinese amenities such as laundry facilities and breakfast. Amazing hotel. Wonderful service, Extremely good value for money! Aliya was extremely helpful! I was looking for a touristic place to visit as I only had an hour to spare. She helped me order the Didi and helped me set the locations to come back the hotel on my phone. The rooms are clean with beautiful views, all amenities are available with a pillow menu! The restaurant serves extremely fresh fish(as they have a live fish tank) & delicious dishes. A must in Altay !

I had an unpleasant stay at this hotel at Nalati. When I arrived at this hotel, I was welcomed and recommended by the hotel staff to liaise with a travel agency if I required any transport for tour at Nalati (the hotel staff pointed at a banner which was set beside the front counter (picture is attached). As this is the recommendation by a trustworthy 5-star hotel, without hesitation I contacted the person in-charge of the travel agency (Mr *** at hp: ***********/ ***********) via WeChat . Finally, I booked a travel tour with this guy 贾 i.e a 7- seater MPV to send myself & my wife from Nanati hotel to 奎屯市via 独库公路。 I was charged ¥498 per person for the trip and I paid ¥400 for the deposit. I told 贾that I needed a good view seats for the MPV. He acknowledged . The next morning , the travel transport MPV came to my hotel to fetch us to 奎屯. When we boarded the MPV, there were already 2 customers inside the car (one seated next to the driver & the other one was seated at the middle row). Immediately I chose the empty seat at the middle row and my wife went to the back seat at the last row. To my surprise , I was shouted by the MPV driver to move back to the seat at the last row because someone had booked the seat at the middle row. Prior to fetching us on the day before , I had spoken to the MPV driver and told him that my wife & myself preferred to sit in front of the car for better view of scenery . However , the driver replied that there is a first come first serve by the company policy . We were very unhappy and upset with the arrangement made by this travel company. I spoke to both the driver and Mr 贾 over this issue . Unfortunately, my request was turned down and they even threatened to forfeit my ¥400 deposit if we refused to take the back seats . After which , Mr 賈 didn’t want to speak to me at all. To this, I got no choice but to cancel my trip with this company. My deposit was not refunded . I felt we have been cheated and unfairly treated by this travel company just because we are foreigners? Finally, I lodged a report with the local Police. The Police attended the case and took statements from me. They also spoke to the travel agency over the phone. After much persuasion from the Police, the travel agency agreed to refund me the deposit . I’m putting up this review as to praise the Nalati Police for their prominent & effectiveness in handling the case. As for the front office manager, Mr 王， please be impartial and handle the issue with responsibility . Anyway, I wished to thank Mr 王for calling the Police which he initially reluctant to do so. Die letzte Station unserer Reise in Yili war dieses Hotel, und die Gesamterfahrung war recht gut. Die Ausstattung ist ziemlich neu, und das Bett war sehr bequem. Handtücher und Badetücher waren Einwegartikel, was ein beruhigendes Gefühl gab. Die Umgebung ist insgesamt sehr schön, die Lobby duftete angenehm und das Zimmer war ruhig. In der Nähe befinden sich die Liuxing-Straße und das Museum. Unten gibt es viele Parkplätze, die aber oft voll sind, sodass es nicht immer einfach ist, einen Platz zu finden. Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Beim Check-in und Check-out gab es kleine Geschenke. Der Mitternachtssnack-Service war sehr gut und das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker, obwohl einige Speisen fehlten, wenn man etwas später kam. Der Wäscheservice war hervorragend, es war eine große Hilfe, dass die Wäsche abgeholt und geliefert wurde.

Hat eine weitere Nacht hier bleiben, bevor ich zurück ging, und nur hinzuzufügen zu meiner früheren Bewertungstill eine konsequent gute Erfahrung insgesamt. Eines, was ich vorher vergessen habe, war, dass wir unsere Gepäck tatsächlich für etwa 10 Tage im Hotel gelagert haben, während wir umgereist waren. Xiao Mi hat uns geholfen, alles in einem Schrank sicher zu arrangieren und zu lagern, was uns während der Reise einen wahren Frieden verleiht. Insgesamt ist es noch ein sehr reibungsloser und zuverlässiger Aufenthalt mit einem bedenklichen Service des Teams.

Letztendlich wurden wir nicht vom Flughafen abgeholt und konnten auch keinen Transfer organisieren. Ich kontaktierte den Kundenservice per Chat und rief nach meiner Ankunft an, jedoch ohne Erfolg. Beim Einchecken wurde uns jedoch sofort ein Transfer für den nächsten Tag angeboten, den wir annahmen. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr einfach. Das Zimmer ist Standardausstattung mit Handtüchern und Duschgel. In der Duschkabine befanden sich einige Haare, die wir entfernen ließen. Bettwäsche und Bett waren aber sehr gut, und es gab einen Wasserkocher. Wir haben gefrühstückt, aber nur, um sicherzugehen, dass wir nicht hungern. Die Lage war für uns entscheidend – in der Nähe von U-Bahn und Flughafen. Wenn Sie, wie wir, wirklich Geld sparen und nur eine Nacht bleiben möchten, ist das Hotel absolut in Ordnung. Ja, es gibt ein sehr günstiges und leckeres Café in der Nähe – dort gibt es fantastischen Schaschlik!

We had high hopes for our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Urumqi, having booked our room four months in advance. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of the four-star standard we were expecting. Upon check-in, we were informed that our confirmed king-size room was unavailable and were reassigned to a twin room without prior notice or apology. For a hotel of this calibre, failing to honour a reservation made months ahead is simply unacceptable. The rooms themselves are remarkably small at just 18 square metres, which feels cramped and uncomfortable for any extended stay. This is well below what one would expect from a property marketing itself as a four-star hotel. There are no bedside tables whatsoever, meaning guests are left placing phones, water bottles, and personal items directly on the floor overnight. That is a basic furnishing oversight that no four-star hotel should be making. Adding to the neglected feel of the room, there were visible holes in the wall where bedside lamps had clearly once been fitted and never properly repaired. The room gave the impression of being mid-renovation rather than a finished, guest-ready space. Perhaps the most frustrating design flaw was the electrical socket positioned directly behind your head on the headboard, with an exposed switch. On multiple occasions during the night, simply shifting position in bed accidentally triggered the switch, flooding the entire room with light. This made for a genuinely disruptive and poor night's sleep. It is baffling that this hazard has not been addressed, as it is both an inconvenience and a safety concern. On a more positive note, the hotel staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The housekeeping team deserves particular praise for keeping the room immaculately clean and well-stocked each day. The mattresses were also surprisingly comfortable and of good quality, which is worth acknowledging. However, no amount of friendly service can fully compensate for such significant shortcomings in the room itself. We would urge the management to invest in basic refurbishments before continuing to market this as a four-star hotel.
