Angesichts der Lebenshaltungskosten in den USA ist dieser Zimmerpreis wirklich günstig. Es fällt eine zusätzliche tägliche Nutzungsgebühr von 29,35 USD (inkl. Steuern) an, die nicht erlassen werden kann. Daher sollten Sie unbedingt die Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer und den Fitnessraum im Obergeschoss nutzen (obwohl ich beides nicht genutzt habe). (Der Kaffee im Zimmer ist von Starbucks.) (Ich habe mir meinen Starbucks aber auf der anderen Straßenseite geholt.) Beim Einchecken wird eine Kaution fällig, deren Höhe nicht genau angegeben ist, und eine Kreditkartenautorisierung durchgeführt (laut meiner aktuellen Kreditkartenabrechnung entspricht diese wahrscheinlich in etwa der Nutzungsgebühr für die Anzahl der Übernachtungen, nicht 100 USD pro Tag). (Ich habe nachgefragt, und sie akzeptieren tatsächlich kein Bargeld für die Kaution, daher brauche ich nicht viel Bargeld zu wechseln; ich bezahle die meisten Transaktionen mit Karte.) Man muss zwar täglich zur Rezeption, um sich Wasser zu holen, aber die Mitarbeiter dort waren alle sehr nett, besonders einer, der etwas älter wirkte, aber... ein eleganter, weißer Mann. Ich habe Lu nämlich ständig nach der Höhe der Kaution gefragt und wollte beim Auschecken einen Zahlungsnachweis sehen, haha. Die Kaution wird nämlich nicht beim Einchecken, sondern erst beim Auschecken fällig und setzt sich aus der Nutzungsgebühr multipliziert mit der Anzahl der Tage zusammen. Man kann sich die Kosten zwar aufschlüsseln lassen, aber es sind 25 $ + 4,35 $ pro Tag. Man muss sich also keine Sorgen machen, dass die Kaution erst zurückerstattet und dann die Rechnung bezahlt wird. Die Gepäckaufbewahrung im Erdgeschoss kostet 2 $ pro Gepäckstück. Der Föhn ist an der Wand montiert, aber kein Modell von Daxin; der Luftstrom ist aber ausreichend. Die Duschbrause ist fest installiert und keine Handbrause, was das Duschen etwas umständlich macht. Das Waschbecken hat eine sehr reaktionsschnelle und schnelle Warm-/Kaltwasserregulierung auf der rechten und linken Seite. Als Südasiatin, die draußen fror, störte mich das Spülbeckenwasser überhaupt nicht, was super war.

The hotel accommodated our party of 11 people super well and divided the rooms up nicely! Parking was open even at night. The lobby is a great place to chat or work. The rooms were clean and well air conditioned. We enjoyed our stay! I would book again.

Die Zimmer sind im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz nicht besonders besonders, aber es ist eine ruhigere Gegend und die Fitness- und Wassereinrichtungen machen für mich den Unterschied, da ich Rückenprobleme habe und nach einem langen internationalen Flug nichts anderes will, als in den Whirlpool zu steigen oder ein Dampfbad oder eine Sauna zu nehmen. Ich brauche einen Flughafenshuttle. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen und wenn Sie nicht bereit sind, einen Aufpreis für einen Fahrdienst oder Uber zu zahlen, dann buchen Sie nicht hier. Ich wünschte, ich könnte lange genug in diesem Hotel bleiben, um alle Annehmlichkeiten zu genießen, denn sie sind wirklich gut, aber da das Frühstück nicht inbegriffen ist, kann es im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels in der Gegend und Hotels näher am Flughafen für das, was man bekommt, ziemlich teuer sein. Doch solange ich einen guten Preis für dieses Hotel bekomme, werde ich immer wiederkommen, da ich beruflich häufig international unterwegs bin und allein die Ruhe der abgeschiedenen Gegend und das Dampfbad und die Sauna ein großes Verkaufsargument für mich sind, da sie mir wirklich dabei helfen, mich nach einem langen Reisetag oder länger zu erholen. 

Be careful, there is a hidden charge ”A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room” at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. The breakfast charge is very tricky if you have prepaid. 1st you have to argue that you have prepaid for the breakfast for each person in the room. 2nd you need to ask and confirm with the front desk how much the credit is for the breakfast you have paid (my case $38 for each person daily, covers taxes and tips). It is not buffet breakfast, you need to pay extra when you check out if you have ordered more than your credit for the breakfast. When I asked that if I missed one breakfast, can I use the extra credit for the next day. The answers were different from different staff members. A very expensive hotel focusing on big conferences, there are no microwave oven, empty refrigerator (you can request) in the room and swimming pool. Do not lift up the drinks and snacks in the box on the table (there are sensors underneath) unless you don't mind to be charged. The existing refrigerator is full of drinks. I was afraid to touch it, even the concierge didn't know how to open the refrigerator lock. But the coffee and tea are free. There is a person (not housekeeper) comes to the room to check and refill all the drinks and snacks including the free ones. We booked our room many weeks earlier, after we checked in I realized that the room prices dropped comparing our original prices, maybe not enough conference people attending. Hope the information is helpful for you.

Jeden Tag. Alles wurde gemacht und frisch. Bar war großartig serviert. Essen war sehr gut. Sie nahmen sehr gute Pflege und waren sehr nett am Frontdesk. Ich konnte nicht mehr fragen.

Das Zimmer ist viel kleiner als die Kathy nahe der Straße (und als ich das Hotel annahm, dachte ich, man könnte weniger auf die Brücke gehen) Das Zimmer ist klein und wunderschön, der Service ist immer noch sehr gut, die geografische Lage ist überlegen Es gibt einen Starbuck 711 Smash Burger in der Nähe.

I was to pay 117 at check in per room. Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.

Overall, I had a very good stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and I really liked the filtered water station on our floor. It had several options and was very convenient. Guest services were excellent. Anytime we made a request, they handled it quickly and professionally. After the first night, housekeeping took our towels but didn’t replace them, so we had to call and ask for more. Thankfully, after that, we didn’t have any other towel issues. Housekeeping overall was a bit different than what I’m used to. They made the beds and handled the bathroom by emptying the trash, picking up dirty towels, and refilling tissues, but they didn’t take out the trash in the main room. Since we had a lot of takeout, that trash piled up pretty quickly. They also didn’t replenish items like used tea bags or glassware, which would’ve been helpful. We also had an issue with the fridge. It stayed warm for the first few days until we realized it hadn’t been turned on. Once we figured that out, it worked fine, but it would’ve been nice if it had been checked before we arrived. The hotel is in a beautiful location, which added to the overall experience. Despite the few small issues, the staff was friendly and responsive, and the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. I would absolutely book with them again!

I made a mistake with my reservation but the staff was so kind to help me solve the problem. the hotel itself is a little outdated, but it is a good stay near the airport.  the airport shuttle bus is very punctual, and the location is very nearby the airport. I also tried dining at Gibson’s steakhouse, which is a steakhouse within the hotel premise , and it was full with locals and conference visitors. Taste was okay.

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was helpful and professional. When we first got there, we were confused because the hotel lobby is on the second floor, but we were directed to where we needed to go. The hairdryer in my room didn't work, so I let the front desk know so that they could get it replaced. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that the rooftop wasn't available for guests and only for private parties. I think that it would be nice to offer to guests when the rooftop isn't rented out.
