Clean room. Easy check in and out. Great location near train station. Across clock tower.

Nice location, all money is valued to its location. The room had no air conditioning, room was generally clean, bathroom like the showering place was just ok, the room had a weird smell (like something left wet for a long time). The fan in the room was dusty. The fan in the bathroom takes a while to be silence as it’s attached to the light switch, cant even being bothered turning on the bathroom light during the night. The breakfast buffet was ok… coffee are from the machine, didn’t like it. Scrambled egg was almost like smashed eggs, bacon was hard to cut.

Ein angenehmes paar Tage in ruhiger Umgebung. Großer Ozean und Sonnenuntergang. Personal war freundlich und willkommen bei der Ankunft und willkommen, alle Anfragen während unseres Aufenthalts zu erfüllen. Die Unterkunft war unermüdlich sauber und gut vorgestellt.

Amazing location, and amazing stay. Pool table, sauna, plenty of cooking and communal space. Easy check in and check out. Plenty of parking available on site. Plenty of beautiful walks nearby- see picture for example.

Lovely small hotel with a number of cottages. The owner offered a group tour to see glow worms at night. We then had a wonderful dinner at Betsy Jane, highly recommended

Das Zimmer ist geräumig, sauber und gemütlich. Es ist nahe der Hauptstraße, aber nicht durch irgendeinen Verkehrslärm beeinflusst. Das Bett ist komfortabel. Die Küche bietet Ihnen genügend Einrichtungen, um die Mahlzeiten mit Mikrowelle zubereiten. Ein Problem ist, dass der Ventilator im Waschraum während des Betriebs geräuschig ist, aber vor dem Schlafengehen ausgeschaltet werden kann.

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum und seine Spazierweiterung von allen Aktivitätsbüros des Eisglasses.

Checked in late night and the staff left a memo with check in instructions on the office door. Nice view from the room

The hotel seems new and all the rooms were very clean. There was also a nice little kitchen and a spa bath tub, which we did not find the time to use. Special mention to the kind lady at the reception who was very helpful and informative. Thanks! We drove to visit the Fox Glacier Walk and the Lake Matheson Trail, which was about half an hour drive away. There were supermarkets nearby in case one planned to cook or dine in at the restaurants.

Generally clean. Nice large room with fridge and TV, although only half the channels worked. No microwave which should be included as the restaurant appears to be indefinitely closed. There are several restaurants near which are good. Very quite location so overall a good stay. Only way onto glacier is by helicopter which is costly.
