4-Sterne-Hotels in Hauptstadtdistrikt, Mexiko

We loved staying here although we did have a few hiccups. We arrived before check-in but we could leave our luggage at the hotel which was a relief. Unfortunately we lost our luggage ticket while out, but the front desk employee Grecia made it seem as if it were a huge problem and that we would not be able to retrieve our luggage at all. She did not reassure us even after we expressed confusion and concern. However once we had already gotten very stressed about this, another employee simply asked for our identification and quickly resolved the problem (which was their standard protocol). The stress was avoidable. When we arrived to the room we had to call to request robes and slippers, and there was only one water bottle even though we were two guests. In the bathroom, there is only one hook for the towels, which was inconvenient. The shower also leaked water all over the bathroom which is an architectural problem and can’t really be helped but was annoying as the bathroom floor was wet. The lighting in the room was also very dim, but that might just be a personal preference. Multiple times when requesting towels or water from room service, we had to call several times to remind them of our needs (we even once went personally to remind them at the front desk after 3 times of calling). On our last day we were eager to enjoy one final breakfast, which is listed as being from 6am-11am. However the food was not set up until 6:20-30, so we had to rush to eat before checking out to make it in time for our flight. Also at breakfast there is no self service tea or water station, and although the staff are attentive, it’s too much for them to be able to meet everyone’s needs at rush hour breakfast. However despite all of this we are left with a great memory of staying here. The food at breakfast was delicious, and most of the staff were very kind despite the delays in service. The location is convenient and the room was comfortable. I do not regret staying here although for ~300 USD a night I might expect a little bit more attention to detail.

Overall the hotel was good. The room was clean and organized, neat, no issues. Shower was nice and hot, comfy bed and a safe, all good. No minibar or fridge however, which is maybe a bit underwhelming for a 4 star hotel but it was fine for me. Location was good, reasonably close to the city centre and with several public transport options nearby. (Though I found the public transport quite confusing in Mexico City) My only issue was that I originally booked through another agent and when I arrived the hotel informed me that the booking had been cancelled on the same day I booked it, and they wouldn't offer me the room or price match to the original booking, so booking the second time was about 8 euro more expensive, not a lot, but irritating. However I contacted my other agency and the informed me that it was due to a failure for the confirmation going through on their end, so not the hotel's fault.

Um in T1 zum Hotel zu kommen, müssen Sie zum Tor 8 gehen und den Aufstieg. Obwohl es sagt Radisson (oder andere Hotelkette) es führt Sie tatsächlich zu diesem Hotel. Beim Ankunftszeitpunkt in Mexiko City war der interne Transferzug von T2 bis T1 nicht betrieben (es ist derzeit unter Wartung). Ich bin nicht sicher, ob das Hotel einen Shuttlebus hat, aber am Flughafen haben sie mich angezeigt, den ”roten Bus” zu nehmen; es berechnet 25MXN pro Person, aber dann habe ich erfahren, es war ein anderer Bus neben ihm, der Sie kostenlos T1 nimmt. Das Zimmer selbst war gut, obwohl es einen bestimmten indischen Geruch hatte, nicht sicher, ob von früheren Gästen oder der Lotion sie am Tauch haben. Ich verbrachte dort nur eine Nacht wegen der späten Ankunft und des frühen Fluges am nächsten Tag. Obwohl ich sehr früh auscheckte, konnten sie das Frühstück für mich vorbereiten. Der Hühner sandwich war ein Segen in meinem nächsten Flug. 2 Dinge, die nicht so groß waren: Einer der 2 Aufzüge, die aus dem Flughafen in die Lobby zu kommen, funktionierten nicht richtig, wege in den Lobbyboden gefangen. Im Zimmer war das Gärten nicht vollständig geschlossen, und das hellweiße Licht des Flughafens war leicht ins Zimmer eindringen (Ich bin nicht empfindlich auf Licht zu schlafen, aber einige Leute können). Ich empfehle dieses Hotel, wenn Sie nur übernachten. Es gibt nichts Tourismus, aber der Flughafen bietet Ihnen viele Mahlzeiten in der Nähe des Hotels.

Location and Hotel in general is great! Room city views are beautiful. Shared amenities with Double Tree, swimming pool has extra cost. Some personnel attitude a little dissapointing. Overall a nice experience.

Schönes Hotel, tolle Lage, aber leider macht es sehr schwierig, hier zu empfehlen. Die Musik aus der Dachbar beginnt um 6 Uhr zu lauten und setzt bis ca. 2 Uhr fort, und sie scheint über die ganze Nacht schrittweise laut zu werden. Es war wirklich unmöglich, in unserem Zimmer zu entspannen oder zu schlafen. Wir wurden sogar Ohrringe gegeben, aber sie machten sehr wenig zu helfen. Wenn Sie planen, bis 2 Uhr pro Nacht zu sein, Sie können es nicht bemerken. Aber wenn Sie nach einem entspannenden Hotel suchen, wo Sie wiederkommen können, entspannen und einen guten Nachtslafen, ist das ehrlich gesagt eine schreckliche Erfahrung. Wir haben auch ein Deluxe King Zimmer reserviert, aber für unsere erste Nacht wurden wir in ein Queen Zimmer gestellt. Wir konnten nicht in die richtige Zimmerkategorie, die wir bis nach 5PM am nächsten Tag reserviert haben, weil das Deluxe King Zimmer ”noch nicht sauber” war. Es ist eine Schande, weil das Eigentum schön ist, aber ein Hotelzimmer, das Sie nicht vernünftig schlafen oder entspannen können. Ich würde sehr empfehlen, vor der Buchung über den Lärm zu fragen.

Gute Lage und freundliches Personal, aber extrem laut, wenn Sie das Fenster auf der Hauptstraße bekommen: egal, welcher Etage Sie bleiben, hören Sie Sirenen (Polizei, Krankenwagen, ...) buchstäblich die ganze Nacht laut

Internet is fast , Hotel is very new , centralized location close to eateries, shopping, banks, etc. metro is just 2 minutes away. Room is considerably smaller but nicely designed and well facilitated. Service is great special mention to Diego hall manager excellent job.

Alles war gut, obwohl die Dusche von Eisberg kalt bis kaum warm war, nicht in der Nähe heiß. Eine heiße Dusche ist eines der wichtigsten Details für ein Hotelzimmer, spektakuläres Exekutivhotel. Ich nahm eine Dusche um 10 Uhr, und eine weitere um 4:45 Uhr und beide Dusche waren bei der gleichen kühlen Temperatur trotz der Wassertemperatur am heißesten Faucet-Einstellung. Das Bett war bequem, die Lufttemperatur war genau das, was wir wollten, das kleine Kaffeepaket war gut, der Mini-Kühlschrank war kalt, der Wasserdruck war gut, das Internet war schnell genug, und der Fernseher war groß(60”?). Es gab viele Dinge, die gut waren, aber wir wollten und erwarteten wirklich eine heiße Dusche, vor allem angesichts des Preises des Zimmers. (Zimmer 105) Wir hatten nicht die Zeit, die Wassertemperatur zu erwähnen, da wir auf einem engen Reiseplan waren. Jedoch ist eine heiße Dusche eine offensichtliche Erwartung für ein Exekutivhotel oder sogar niedrigere Endhotels und Motels.

We really loved staying at Tonala. The hotel is located in Roma Norte, a trendy neighbourhood in Mexico city. We could walk to all the nice restaurants ans cafes for food and drinks. There’s a really popular cafe downstairs for pastries, breakfast and coffee. And there’s a famous seafood restaurant as well as a fancy Michellin reservations-only restaurant next to it, right across the street from the hotel. Walking to the historic centre, La Condesa and the museuems took us about 15 minutes or so. The room is spacious and came with a great shower with working hot water. The air-cons worked really well in both the living and bed rooms. The laundry room is free to use from evening onwards. And the rooftop pool was great for a quick dip. Overall clean not just in our room but the stairs, lobby and rooftop and lift. Definitely 5-star and I would gladly stay there again when I next visit Mexico city.

Das Hotel 1907 war sehr lecker, zusammen mit dem nahezu Weihnachten, die Atmosphäre war sehr gut. Jedes Ecke hatte sehr eigene Merkmale, es gab eine Reihe von alten Artikeln, das Restaurant war auch interessant, die Vogelsprache ist gefärbt.
