"Vor der Reise schwankte ich zwischen mehreren hoch bewerteten Hotels. Meine größte Sorge war die Entfernung zum Bahnhof Kanazawa und die Tatsache, dass es fast am anderen Ende der Hauptattraktionen lag. Letztendlich entschied ich mich aber für das Sai no Tei aufgrund der durchweg guten Bewertungen und des Fehlens negativer Rezensionen. Rückblickend war die Wahl des Sai no Tei, von der effizienten und unkomplizierten Antwort auf meine Anfrage zum Shuttlebus vor der Reise bis hin zu meinem fünftägigen Aufenthalt, definitiv die beste Entscheidung meiner gesamten Reise! Kurz gesagt: Alles war großartig!"

"The room is spacious, clean and with modern amenities. Breakfast is very good with varieties of Japanese and western food. We had a comfortable stay. The location is not near Kanazawa station, about 3 bus stops or 22 minutes walk away. But it's within walking distance to the castle, Kenrokuen and Omicho market"

"Ein sehr schönes, hochwertiges Hotel mit einem exzellenten und außergewöhnlichen Frühstück – außergewöhnlich, weil die Speisekarte europäische Gerichte umfasst, die man in anderen Hotels eher selten findet. Gefrorene Blaubeeren zum Beispiel werden als Topping für Joghurt verwendet, zusammen mit köstlichem frischem Obst wie Ananas, Grapefruit und Orangen. Besonders praktisch ist auch, dass den ganzen Tag über Tee, Kaffee und andere Getränke in der Lobby erhältlich sind. Zwischen 17 und 19 Uhr werden Weißwein, Rotwein und Prosecco – ebenfalls von sehr guter Qualität – serviert. Der Spa-Bereich ist klein, aber nicht überfüllt, und auch dort ist alles hervorragend. Mir hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen, und ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen."

"Rooms (3/5): For a family of 3 the room was relatively spacious and had no trouble handling us and our luggage. There is a decent amount of wall plugs with 2 in the room and a third in the seating area. They also give an extension cable with 2 sockets and 2 usb ports. The toilet is spacious and the bath is decent in size. Overall atmosphere of the room was calm and relaxing. Service (4/5): Service was exceptional, the receptionist introduced the hotel to us well and they had several pamphlet guides from how to wear a yukata to how to behave in an onsen and several others which was nice to havw. When leaving the onsen by car, they also wave until you are out of sight which is a small cherry on the top. Facilities (4/5): They have 2 onsens, mens and ladies which alternate daily. I only had the joy of trying one of them which was lovely and had a small cold bath outside which is a plus in my book. In the mainlobby they also have free flow non alcoholic drinks through a dispenser, having hot drinks like tea and coffee and cold calpis, coke, sprite, orange juice and water. Had a nice time after the onsen grabbing something sweet and cold then sitting in the lounge to cool off. Food (3/5): The dinner was lovely. They served a variety of food with the steamed horse mackeral standing out (this is coming from a person who does not like fish that is cooked besides when its battered). The seaweed and miso based paste also went lovely with the rice. Breakfast was also decent but nothing outstanding besides the pudding at the end. Overall 3.5/5: If you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city and just really want to kick back and relax this is the place to be. For me, this Ryokan is worth visiting again if I ever pass by. Nothing extremely exceptional but overall enjoyable experience."

"The location is great it’s easy to walk to any places. The bed is comfortable, but the arrangement of the room is quite crammed so it’s hard to open the suitcase and walk around without being tripped. The hotel staff is friendly but they don’t seem to be able to resolve any issues. For example, the corridor outside our room has a strong bbq smell, and it’s even passing into our room. I called the front desk, they only shrugged and said that it’s because of the bbq store next to the building and the ventilation system so there’s nothing they can do. I mean… I know there’s nothing you can do, but you can at least apologize and try to do some amendments. Oh well. Also, refrain from using the public bath here. This hotel accommodate big tourism group. Most of the tourists do not know the etiquette of bathing in Japan. Some people don’t wash themselves before going into the bath so the water is quite dirty and you might get sprayed on when walking past people showering. It’s overall an uncomfortable experience."

"Location is great, very close to Kanazawa station. The room size is also very spacious which is a plus. I love their amenities, nothing fancy, but it is enough. They also allow you to borrow Refa hair dryer and hair straightener for free! I enjoyed my short stay at this hotel and will come back again."

"Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, aber der Preis und die Lage sind großartig. Es liegt neben der Stadt Omi, mehr als 200 Meter vom Busbahnhof entfernt und nur wenige Gehminuten vom Kenrokuen-Garten entfernt. Der Preis von weniger als 300 ist sehr gut für Alleinreisende geeignet Reisende. Von Kanazawa aus ist es sehr bequem, nach Dongxunfang und Yuqing zu gelangen."
