PERECT location, literally a tunnel from the metro station to the hotel (best you ask the hotel which exit it is so you can avoid going up the ground floor). It was such a treat, like it's your secret tunnel. Love that it has a gym, and the free sake and Photo Booth was fun! V clean room, better you pay a bit more for the slightly bigger double room.

Das Hotel ist relativ neu und sehr sauber. Es ist sehr praktisch, in der Nähe einer U-Bahn-Station zu sein. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass ich mitten im Auto geweckt werde Am ersten Tag ging ich mehrmals mitten in der Nacht zur Arbeit und wurde mehrmals geweckt. Zwischen den Zimmern ist die Schalldämmung sehr gut, es sei denn, jemand redet laut auf dem Flur Lärm.

Das Hotel liegt nur eine Minute zu Fuß vom ersten Ausgang der U-Bahn-Station Watanabe-dori entfernt. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. In Fukuoka gibt es ein Festival und die Preise der Hotels sind überall stark gestiegen. Der Preis dieses Hotels ist auch sehr vernünftig.  Das Hotel wusste, dass ich Geburtstag haben würde und arrangierte extra eine kleine Karte und ein kleines Geschenk. Der Service ist rücksichtsvoll und aufmerksam und hinterlässt bei den Gästen ein wunderbares und herzerwärmendes Erlebnis.

Had a pleasant stay. Everything was perfect from concierge handling my car to be auto parked in hotel to greetings and responding to our needs. The bed was comfort and we were most glad to be given a free upgrade to a higher floor. Thank you so much.

Das Personal versucht zu helfen, auch wenn es nicht gut Englisch spricht. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Hotel hat im Grunde alles, was ich brauche. Es gibt einen Supermarkt in der Nähe mit guten Angeboten! Lawson, Family Mart, 7-Eleven sind nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt! Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt genossen!

the hotel location is super super convenient, right next to the mtr akasaka station 1 minute walk. specially in fukuoka it made everything easy. room was consider roomy compared to the others and the bathroom is very nice too. Surrounding the hotel many restaurants and convenient stores so you can get walk you need within walking distance. however i found that the hotel staffs are kinda cold when they speak to the hotel guest (like robot). they just read you the rule and any request you made you will be like talking to the wall. they will tell you NO and read you the hotel policy. not so friendly to overseas guest in my opinion given that i spoke and ask them politely. i will book this hotel again for the location only but not for the hospitality.

Wenn man das Hotel über die Einfahrt betritt, fühlt man sich nicht wie in einem Business-Hotel. Ich denke, die Atmosphäre wäre noch besser, wenn die so gut sichtbaren Kassenautomaten mit Pflanzen bedeckt wären. Das Zimmer war für alle meine Bedürfnisse ausreichend und neben dem Bett gab es einen USB-Anschluss, an dem ich mein Smartphone aufladen konnte. Es mag von der Art des Zimmers abhängen, aber die Toilette befindet sich in einem separaten privaten Raum, sodass es schön ruhig ist. Die Lage ist etwas zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt, liegt aber in einem akzeptablen Bereich. Obwohl viele junge Leute dort wohnten, war es auch für Menschen mittleren Alters komfortabel genug.

Weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Lebensmittelladen oder zu Amous Ramen, auch eine gute Izakaya. Das Hotel sieht neu aus und ist sehr sauber. Kein Rauchgeruch. Das Hotelpersonal bietet einen großartigen Service und spricht Englisch. Im 14. Stock gibt es eine kostenlose Bar mit alkoholfreien Getränken. Außerdem gibt es ein kostenloses öffentliches Bad, sowohl drinnen als auch draußen, es ist jedenfalls nicht groß und immer überfüllt. Ich habe keine Probleme mit Lärm oder Geräuschen von draußen. Im Zimmer ist es ruhig. Da das Gebäude ein offener Bereich ist, muss man zum Aufzug nach draußen gehen, aber nur 10 Sekunden. Ich habe überhaupt kein Problem mit der Kälte. Zimmer und Toilette sind sehr sauber und sehen neu aus. Die Dusche ist sehr stark (das gefällt mir) und sehr heiß, was gut für den Winter ist. Das Zimmer ist auch größer, als ich dachte. Das Bett ist bequem. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, aber wir müssen einen Zeitplan einhalten, da viele Gäste im Hotel sind. Insgesamt kann ich diesen Urlaub empfehlen.

When it comes to booking, Trip.com filtering is easy apart from the good price! The room size is good for 2 people so we got 2 rooms for the family. It was a quick stay and as part of our honeymoon, I appreciate the gesture that the hotel had given. The location is very convenient especially when you’re just visiting the city for short trip, it is 5min walk away to the train station + Canal City for shopping. The area has nearby good restaurant options as well + 20min walk away to Don Quixote shop where you can find good souvenirs. The hotel staff is nice, amenities are organized, we have tried the “Onsen” too and was really relaxing, the area is clean and there’s also “Coin Laundry” for long-stay guest. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any of my colleagues when visiting the place.

Gerade neben der JR Kokura Station so sehr bequem für Leute, die Zug nehmen. Wir fahren so entschieden, etwas weiter zu parken (weniger als 10 Minuten zu Fuß). Wie erwartet ist das Zimmer nicht groß, sondern sauber und gemütlich. Ein Restaurant im Stile des Gerichts ist direkt unten an der Station, wo Sie eine große Vielfalt von Lebensmitteln wie Grill, Rindergebärmutter (もつ), Sushi usw. finden können.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, 1,5 Kilometer vom Bahnhof Hakata und etwa genauso weit von Tenjin entfernt. Es sind alles Orte, die mit der U-Bahn oder zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Vor der Tür befindet sich die U-Bahn-Station Nakasu, das Einkaufszentrum Don Quixote und die Nach**arktstraße. Das Hauptquartier von Ichiran Ramen befindet sich neben dem Hotel. Das Hotel wird 2023 eröffnet. Es ist sehr neu. Die Aussicht von der Sky-Etage ist sowohl tagsüber als auch nachts sehr schön. Der Service an der Rezeption ist sehr nett und professionell. Sie sprechen auch Englisch, das die Leute verstehen können, was gut ist! Also habe ich für meine nächste Reise wieder hier gebucht.

Sehr nahe dem Kokura Station! Es war angenehm. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Zimmer war gut gelagert. Hohe Stockwerke hatten große Aussichten und große Toilette. Sicherlich würde zurückkommen.

Clean and tidy even this is an old style hotel. Grand design with good service provided and near harbour. It is very convenient to 唐戶 market. Wonderful hotel with reasonable charges.

Being in Daiwa in Fukuoka, I found this place has bigger room. Very easy to stay in the room longer to do and enjoy things. Excellent location. Italian restaurant at the first floor is very tasty. Will book it again if coming back.

A nice hotel with rustic charm. Bathroom very nice, however the tap may be a little slow due to age. The garden is beautiful and the staff very helpful. It should be noted that the hotel parking should not be used, as much cheeper parking is also available close to the hotel, with the parking rules of the hotel parking being expensive, whilst if you take your car out of the bay you have to pay again. Also as of 2023 they have some pretty amazing Quiche, 4.5*

The only bad thing about the room is the location, which is quite far away from the train station. Yet, the room is very nice, consisting of a huge balcony. Very nice!

스가오룸은 못해도 넷 이상이 머물러야 할 정도로 생각보다 공간이 매우매우 큽니다. 저희는 둘이라 밤에 오줌싸러 갈 때 무서워 죽는 줄 알았어요. 내부는 전구 안에 벌레가 좀 죽어 있는 것 외엔 깨끗합니다. 참고로 다이슨도 있어요. 하지만 다른 료칸들은 대부분 짐 옮겨주는 서비스가 있지만 여긴 직접 옮겨야하고, 또 온천이 나오지 않는 료칸 치고는 비싼 감이 있습니다. 그래도 정원뷰는 기대 이상으로 아름다워요! 사진도 잘 나옵니다. 여기 정원이 고쿠라 정원보다 더 예뻐요.

저는 리뷰라는 것을 처음 써 봅니다. 트립닷컴에서 호텔 예약할때도 시스템을 잘 몰라서 많이 어려웠습니다. 그래서 이 리뷰 쓰는 것도 어떻게 잘 될지는 모르겠습니다. 해외 여행에서 호텔 정하는 것이 가장 중요하다고 생각하기에 호텔을 정할때 항상 신중하고 신중하였습니다. 현지 호텔 상황을 잘 모르니 당연하겠지요. 그래서 저도 리뷰를 모두 읽어 보면서 호텔을 정하였기에 리뷰 도움을 많이 받았습니다. 그래서 저도 이번 여행은 다녀와서 '꼭! 호텔 리뷰를 자세히 써야지'라고 마음 먹었습니다. 많은 분들께 도움이 되었으면 합니다. 1. 저는 친구들과 기타큐슈로 여행을 다녀온적이 있었습니다. 그때, 강가에 자리잡은 '호텔 크라운 팔레스 고쿠라' 호텔이 굉장히 멋져 보였습니다. 겉모습을 보면 그 호텔의 규모나 등급이 어느정도인지 알수 있기 때문입니다. 그래서 '다음 가족여행에서는 저 호텔에 묶어야 겠다' 고 생각했습니다. 2. 기타큐슈로 가족 여행이 계획되어 있었기 때문에 친구들과 여행을 다녀와서 바로 트립닷컴에서 '호텔 크라운 팔레스 고쿠라'를 검색하여 리버뷰 방을 무조건 예약하고 결제까지 했습니다. 왜 무조건 결재 했냐면, 2박에 2인 조식이 모두 포함된 총금액이 21만원 정도이기에 괜찮은 금액이라고 생각했기 때문입니다. 그리고 호텔 현지에서 2박에 우리나라 돈으로 8,000원정도 세금? 같은 것을 지불해야 한다고 하는 내용이 있습니다. 알고 계셔요. 3. 호텔 체크인은 2시 이며, 호텔 현장에서 앞에서 언급 했던 세금? 즉 한국돈으로 한 사람당 1박에 2,000원씩 2박이기 때문에 4,000원씩을 2명이므로 한국돈으로 8,000원 정도를 지불했습니다. 4. 방의 크기도 2명이 머물기에 충분히 괜찮았고 방의 컨디션도 아주 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 그러나 화장실이 조금 좁은 듯 하였습니다. 그러나 불편한 정도는 아니였습니다. (변기와 욕조가 있는데 공간은 넉넉하지 않음) 5. 저희는 8층에 머물렸는데, 리버뷰가 정말로 너무 멋졌습니다. 호텔 앞에는 큰 공원도 있어서 아침 산책하기에 아주 좋았습니다. 6. 호텔에서 2분~3분정도 걸어가면 '고쿠라 성' 이 나옵니다. 고쿠라 성 바로 옆에는 아주 큰 쇼핑센터가 있어서 관광과 쇼핑 2가지를 모두 할 수 있어서 좋았습니다. 그리고 다양한 음식점들도 많아서 아주 만족스러웠습니다.(그러나 일본 음식 맛은 나쁘지 않은데, 소금을 많이 사용하는지 아주 짭니다. 여러곳에서 서로 다른 음식을 먹었는데, 간 자체가 짠것 갔습니다. 참고하십시오.) 7. 호텔 조식도 다양한 종류로(일식, 양식, 후식 등) 20가지 정도는 되었으나 앞에서 말한것 같이 간이 조금 짭니다. 8. 호텔에서 1분정도 걸으면, '단가시장'이 나오고 이 시장 앞에서 '은하철도999' 라고 불리는 전철을 타고 2정류장 정도 나가면, '고쿠라역'이 나옵니다. 이 고쿠라역에서 한국돈으로 2,800원 정도를 내고 '모지코 항'을 다녀 왔는데 너무 재미 있었습니다. 9. 이 지역을 또 여행하게 된다면, 저는 '호텔 크라운 팔레스 고쿠라'에 꼭! 다시 머물고 싶습니다. 10. 호텔에 대한 총 평가를 하자면, 호텔비는 가성비 최고, 방 컨디션 최고, 뷰 최고, 직원의 친절 최고, 주변 관광도 최고 입니다.

I originally booked this hotel by mistake but was pleasantly surprised by some aspects of my stay. Tthe location was quite far from Fukuoka, where I had intended to stay for a concert. I arrived at the hotel around 11:30 AM–12 PM after an early morning flight, unaware that check-in wasn’t until 3 PM. When I approached the front desk, the receptionist—a young girl—gave me a strange look before informing me of the check-in time. The lack of warmth in her greeting was disappointing, especially compared to my experiences at other hotels in Japan. The weather on February 6, the day of my arrival, was harsh—it was very windy as it was cold, and I had to walk from Seto bus stop to the hotel with two suitcases in freezing conditions. Exhausted from my flight and journey to Munakata, I had hoped for a more welcoming atmosphere. Instead, after a brief trip to a nearby Lawson to grab food, I returned to the hotel and waited in the lobby, as it was too cold to explore. By 2 PM, fatigue took over, and I lay down on the lobby couch to rest. Despite dozing off in the cold lobby, no staff member approached me. The heating system inside the hotel was weak, and I kept waking up from the biting cold. At 2:30 PM, I heard guests checking in, which surprised me—no one had informed me that I could start checking in earlier. When I lined up at the front desk, the same receptionist from earlier recognized me but seemed to push her colleague forward to assist me, which I found rude and unprofessional for a staff member at a four-star hotel. However, her colleague was kind and attentive. Since I speak Japanese, the check-in process went smoothly. There was an error on my part regarding my booking—I had mistakenly reserved my stay until February 10 instead of February 9. I explained this at the front desk, and the staff member tried to help but apologized, as the booking was made through a third-party site and couldn’t be refunded. I understood this and simply wanted to inform them of my earlier departure. The hotel itself is old but well-maintained. I stayed in a Japanese-style room, which, despite its age, was clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning unit was quite old, but amenities were available on the first floor. The hotel seems to be popular with families or tour groups. There are a lot of Korean guests as well. Even for a business hotel, customer service toward foreign solo travelers was severly lacking. It's embarassing to think that was the kind of training they gave their employees at a four star hotel. I'm writing this review while staying at Comfort Hotel, a cheaper chain of hotel but the omotenashi I received here is on another level. There isn’t much to do nearby Mercure Munakata. The closest kaisendon restaurant was about a 30-minute walk away. Unfortunately, the weather during my stay was terrible—windy and snowy—so I didn’t explore much. There was a church (?) next to the hotel, but nothing else of note. One of the highlights of the stay was the hot spring, which had both indoor and outdoor baths. I didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant, as the prices seemed high. A free shuttle bus is available to Togo Station, but you need to inform the front desk of your preferred departure time in advance. I didn’t take many photos of the hotel itself—there wasn’t much worth capturing besides the bath, where phones aren’t allowed. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend this hotel? No, especially not for solo foreign travelers.
