The hotel entrance is lovely ans the room was nice, lovely sea view. A fridge in the room would have been a bonus. The pool and sauna and bar was also good. No hots drinks avaiable from 8.30pm, which was a surprise. The breakfast was disappointing.

However, the room, facilities, and the spa were fantastic. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The beach club outside was gorgeous. The spa was perfect and treatments were, to quote my partner, 'one of the best massages of my life'.
We're unsure if we would come back. Although the facilities were great, the service was mostly subpar and not what we'd expect from a harbour hotel.
A last minute booking as we were passing through Exeter visiting family. The room was decent with a comfy bed. There was a little noise from the courtyard outside playing music at night which stopped about 10pm. No issue. Great central location and a relaxed night. No complimentary toiletries 🧴not even a toothbrush 🪥- which is just a pain to have to go and buy them. I asked at reception and he just shook his head. 🤷♂️99% of hotels we stay at have them - seems a little tight 🤣 - anyway no issues with the room or location so we’d stay here again if needed. 👍
Sie müssen auf dem Hotelparkplatz im Kreis herumlaufen. Es gibt nur sehr wenige Parkplätze an der Tür. Der Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage muss manuell betätigt werden, um die Tür zu öffnen Für bequemes Einkaufen gibt es einen Supermarkt direkt vor der Tür!
The spa is incredible, so relaxing. Ideal location with about 10 mins walk to Harbour and to Meadfoot beach. Breakfast was on the small side but tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are okay, clean, but for 4* I’d expect a bit more like an iron in the room, toiletries, wash cloths etc. Didn’t sleep that well unfortunately as was woken up by people coming back to room as doors are loud and corridor floors are creaky. This let it down, but I’d return for the spa experience!

The location is perfect—right in the heart of Plymouth, close to the waterfront and local attractions, which made exploring the city effortless. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day.

SSantha_RoyLovely place with peacocks roaming around. We had a wonderful stay but the washroom was bit a drawback. No shower curtains or shower head in the washroom. There was a stand in shower but unfortunately our shower doesn't had a good heating system, so we couldn't use it. Washrooms needs to be improved.

The room was very clean and well laid out. Tea and coffee making in the room. Bed was very comfortable. The room was cleaned during our visit, bed made, cups replaced, etc.
We were on the 5th floor and the lift was always available, although it was quiet.
We ate at the hotel on the first night and the food was very tasty with quite a good selection, as well as a good selection of drinks at the bar. We were advised of a special offer if we joined the Leonardo Advantage Club of 15% off drinks and food, when paying off a tab which really helped.
We booked a breakfast for the first morning. Breakfast is buffet style with all sorts of juices, coffee, cereals, yoghurts, etc. It was a very good selection for this size of hote. Breakfast was served between 7:00am and 11:00 am and our only criticism was that when we got to breakfast at 10:00am, some of the hot buffet items were warm going on cold. We were told that this was a problem with the hotplates but we felt that the hot food should have been checked more thoroughly. To the hotels credit, we were compensated for the breakfast problem.
All in all we had a great 2 night stay and would stay at this hotel again.

GGastnutzerSuper clean! Convenient location. Although with no laundry service or microwaves for guests, the hotel provides 2 bottles of water and coffee every day. Still a good choice for students to stay for a summer gap if your student accommodation cannot help with that.

Komplimentaren Haus bakewell-Tart, frische Milch, falls erforderlich, und eine sogar ehrliche Bar, wo Sie vertrauen, Ihre eigenen Getränke zu servieren und sich bei der Abreise zu bedienen.
Das ist nie zuvor bei jedem Hotelaufenthalt zu erledigen, zeigt nur, was echte gute Leute die Eigentümer sind.
Das Hotel ist unschön, geschmacklos eingerichtet und nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zum Meer vorne.
Wir hatten die besten Nächte, die Matratze war sehr komfortabel und das Bettwäsche war von hoher Qualität.
Schön frisch gekochtes Frühstück gemacht, um mit zusätzlichen frischen kontinentalen Angeboten bestellt.
Dieses Hotel hat uns nicht enttäuscht, dass wir nicht warten können, um wieder zu besuchen.
GGillfromUKDas Mercure liegt zentral 5 Gehminuten vom Zentrum der Stadt und der Kathedrale entfernt. Unser Zimmer im dritten Stock war sauber und bedienbar, obwohl einige der Möbel bessere Tage gesehen hatten. Autoparkplatz ist verfügbar und kostet £15 pro Tag, was günstiger ist als das öffentliche Parkplatz auf der Straße. Familienanmerkung, Pool kostet £10/adult. (Kinder kostenlos)

The staff in the restaurant were also extremely efficient and friendly both at breakfast and especially during the evening meal. Unfortunately I did not think to take their names at the time.
The only negative was the meal itself. Everything was good except for my steak. It was cooked just as I liked it, however it was tough and gristly. I did not complain at the time because as I said, everything else was really good, and I was not going to put a damper on the evening.
