Cost wise it was reasonable, and the location is bang in the middle of Plymouth shopping area. Parking is right under the hotel, and check in was quick. Room was very tidy and spacious, and cool enough but no air conditioning., just fan. Staff were all lovely, bar staff, reception and service staff, notably Christopher at breakfast who went out of his way to entertain my little girl. Food wise was OK, but 2 complaints. The breakfast orange juice is not fresh, or it's watered down, not nice. And for evening meal I ordered fish and chips, and it was a SLIVER of fish in batter....which for the cost was ridiculous. The staff were very understanding, but the kitchen should definitely seen a new supplier. Overall, it was a lovely stay and would definitely go back...my gripes are purely for management if they wish to address them for future guests. Recommend.

Schöner Ort mit Peakkocks rund um. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt, aber das Waschzimmer war ein wenig ein Rückzug. Keine Duschegarten oder Duschekopf im Waschraum. Es gab einen Stand in der Dusche, aber leider hat unsere Dusche kein gutes Heizungssystem, so dass wir es nicht nutzen konnten. Waschräume müssen verbessert werden.

Wir haben in zwei King Zimmer mit Balkonen als Familie geblieben und das Hotel insgesamt hat viel zu tun. Die Lage ist fantastisch im Herzen von Exeter, perfekt für Wandern überall. Das Hotel selbst sieht großartig aus, vor allem die Himmelbar auf dem oberen Stock. Die Aussichten sind ausgezeichnet, die Getränke sind sehr gut, und der Service dort war wirklich freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben auch einige Nibbles im Restaurant unten gefangen, und sowohl das Essen als auch der Service waren fest. Die Zimmer waren sauber, geräumig und die Balkone waren ein schöner Kontakt. Alles fühlte sich modern und komfortabel. Die einzige reale Nebenwirkung und es ist ein großer ist der Front Desk Service. Für ein Hotel an diesem Preispunkt (und vor allem als IHG-Eigentum), es lässt wirklich den ganzen Platz runter. Das Personal war langsam, nicht besonders wissensfähig (und ich hasse es, nicht die ”schnellste” hinzuzufügen), und manchmal ziemlich kurz/ruid. Wir wurden bei der Eincheckung erzählt, dass wir als IHG-Mitglieder spät auschecken würden, aber als wir später zurückkehrten, hatte ein anderes Personal keine Ahnung, was wir überhaupt reden und schien verwirrt zu sein, wie es zu behandeln. Sie bot letztlich nur ein Zimmer bis 12 Uhr an, was nach einer 3-Stunden-Check-in wirklich nicht wie eine richtige späte Check-out fühlt. Wir reisen viel und die Front-Desk-Erfahrung hier war bemerkenswert unter dem Standard. Der Rest des Hotels (Zimmer, Bar, Restaurant, Lage) ist wirklich gut, aber der schlechte Front-of-House-Service ist, was wir am meisten erinnern werden. Würde ich nochmal bleiben? Wahrscheinlich, wegen der Lage und der Zimmer, aber ich hoffe wirklich, dass sie die Vorderbüro-Ausbildung und Einstellung sortieren.

Hotel clean, breakfast had a god variety of food location is great. Unfortunately we had an issue outside our bedroom which I reported to reception in the morning as I feel it is a security issue. In the middle of the night we had a man knock on our door and he tried to get in. He was walking up and down the corridor and appeared to be drunk. He then lay outside our room and fell asleep. About 30 minutes later we heard him again knock on another door. Although we think he was probably a resident it did concern us as anyone could get access to the bedrooms as there is no security to get up the stairs. There is no swipe card access and I think this needs to be addressed as it is a safety concern.

The hotel and area was fantastic, however, service at the front desk and the restaurant was lacking. We took a long weekend break and were excited to try the beach club, however our experience was dampened by the service. Being made to stand around for 5 minutes, whilst being told we hadn't paid (when we had) was unnecessary and frankly embarrassing. The restaurant was the most disappointing part of the stay. I'm the evening service was slow, followed by having our order wrong twice and also dropped. Breakfast at the restaurant was lacking compared to cheaper hotels that offer continental. Small selection , nothing outstanding. When we ordered a cooked breakfast, it took 30-40 minutes to receive some eggs and pancakes although the restaurant was fairly quiet. However, the room, facilities, and the spa were fantastic. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The beach club outside was gorgeous. The spa was perfect and treatments were, to quote my partner, 'one of the best massages of my life'. We're unsure if we would come back. Although the facilities were great, the service was mostly subpar and not what we'd expect from a harbour hotel.

Ausgezeichnete Lage, wenn Sie Exeter pro Tag oder Nacht besuchen möchten. Gutes Frühstück spielte aus, obwohl ich es tendieren, mit einem Zimmer Geschäft, so ist es viel günstiger! Parkplatzgebühr ist vernünftig. Freundliches Personal.

A simply Devine hotel with such historical charm  The charismatic entrance foyer draws you into this wonderful exquisite reception area We had the upmost pleasure in staying on New Years Eve  & were greeted with a lovely glass of free champagne in letting the New year in  They also had a really good modern band playing the finest of music in one of their opulent rooms  We would grant this very fine hotel a definite 5 Stars experience  Many thanks

Overall a great stay, receptionists were welcoming, although a little bit more effort could have gone into directing me to the room as the grounds are so big I got a little lost. On entering the building where my room was located the carpet definitely needs to be upgraded, my room was nice and clean. It had a sink, and an ironing board and iron which I was very impressed with, it also had two wardrobes one with a kettle on top and one with hangers inside. The grounds are lovely, the garden is spectacular, it would be a perfect setting for a wedding. The staff in White Hart are lovely and the customer service provided by them was great. (Two males) thank you. On the Friday they had a live band (male / female) singing the old classics for VE Day that was great. The food was also nice. I would defo stay here again.

We stayed for just one night. A much better experience than we had expected, given some of the recent reviews. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and had a lovely,spacious walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Our only negative was that the car park was absolutely full when we arrived at 3:30pm … and the staff checking us in couldn’t have cared less!

Zwei Zimmer für einen Familienaufenthalt reserviert. Im heißesten Wochenende im Mai jemals verblieben! Ein Zimmer frischen das andere Kochen. Die Klimaanlage ist nicht so zuverlässig! Zimmer waren wieder verschieden. Obwohl ich die gleiche gewählte war geräumig und luftig die andere ein wenig mehr krammet Ich wurde gemeldet, dass es FROM 3pm war und wir nicht erlaubt wurden, bis 4.30 was unsere Pläne kompliziert. Das Frühstück ist gut, aber super besetzt. Nicht genug Personal, um die Nachfrage zu bewältigen. Es war schlecht für das Personal, das umgelaufen ist! Gut im Allgemeinen! Sehr guter Standort!
