We had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time. It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review. Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China). They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer. Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful! As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration. If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

Als ich mit dem Bus von Jinzhou am Bahnhof Shenyang ankam, war es bereits dunkel. Mein Freund wollte mich eigentlich abholen, aber ich sagte, das sei nicht nötig, ich würde einfach ein Hotel in der Nähe des Bahnhofs für eine Nacht nehmen. Ich suchte schnell auf meinem Handy und fand dieses Hotel direkt um die Ecke, nur 3-4 Gehminuten entfernt. Der Preis war auch nicht teuer, also buchte ich es. Die Rezeption war super freundlich. Der erste Eindruck in der Lobby war, dass alles sauber und hell war. Das Bett war ziemlich groß und die Bettwäsche roch frisch gewaschen. Wenn man die Fenster fest schloss, hörte man die Züge wirklich nicht. Man brauchte nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß, um zum Bahnhof zu gelangen. Jedenfalls werde ich in Zukunft, wenn ich vom Bahnhof Shenyang abreise, immer dieses Hotel wählen.

Das Zimmer ist nicht größer als zehn Quadra**eter. Es gibt nur einen Nachttisch und die Schalldämmung ist nicht sehr gut. Außerdem hatten die speziellen Bohnen- und Muschelnudeln zum Frühstück überhaupt keinen Geschmack und waren unangenehm langweilig. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass diejenigen, die auf der Suche nach einem privaten Blick auf den Strand sind, kommen und ihn erleben können, aber wenn Sie tagsüber kommen, können Sie hereinkommen, ohne im Hotel zu übernachten, und einfach ein Foto machen. In der Nebensaison kostet die Übernachtung in einem Hotel mit einer Fläche von mehr als 10 Quadra**etern und der Service ist meiner Meinung nach sehr durchschnittlich Ich habe gehört, dass es in der Hochsaison 1000 bis 2000 Yuan kostet. Bitte überlegen Sie es sich genau.

Die Zimmerausstattung ist etwas alt, die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr gut und sauber, die Umgebung ist sehr gut und die Lage ist großartig. Es gibt nicht viele Parkplätze und es ist etwas eng. Das Personal ist sehr begeistert, besonders die Schwester Rot an der Rezeption. Womit ich nicht zufrieden bin, ist, dass das Zimmer jetzt etwas kalt ist. Außerdem hoffe ich, dass das Hotel sie proaktiv daran erinnern und Konvertierungsstecker bereitstellen kann.

We stayed at Atour Hotel Dalian Dongguan Street (大连市政府东关街亚朵酒店) during our first trip to mainland China, and honestly, this place was one of the highlights of our whole visit. Right at check-in we were kindly upgraded to a suite, and the staff asked if we could leave a review — after staying here, that was an easy and enthusiastic yes. Where do I even start? The room was immaculately clean, super quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was impressive with strong water pressure and top-notch amenities — everything felt fresh and high quality. We had zero issues with housekeeping — everything was always perfect. The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in China. Their English wasn’t perfect, but they tried so hard to help with whatever we needed, always with a smile and patience. That honest effort made a big difference. Location is another major plus. This hotel is right by Dongguan Street, which means you’re walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Pavilion Mall is super close too, and the airport is easy to get to — really convenient for arrivals and departures. One small thing — the subway station is a bit of a walk, but the tram stop is very close, so getting around was still easy. We didn’t try the breakfast since it wasn’t included, but honestly, everything else was so good that we really don’t even care. To all travelers — especially Korean and Western visitors who might skip Dalian thinking it’s “not worth it” or don’t see many foreigners here — do yourself a favor and stay here. This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere. If we come back to Dalian, we will 100% stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Room clean. Best plushies on mattress top. Feels luxurious sleeping in the bed. Standard bottled water, towel, coffee tea sachets. Clean room but we cannot control room temperature. However I lower the AC, room temps stay 25C The toilet partition is made of glass see through to the room and the curtain to cover the toilet is outside the toilet, in the room, which is a bad design. Water seep out at the base of the glass joints into the bedroom carpet, causing condensation. Across the street and just around the corner is the happening pedestrian street and the subway, making this place the best in location. Disadvantage: walking street is next to the garbage collection station. Walking in and out, the air smells. Lobby to check in and breakfast is at the 7th floor. Basic choice of food.

I visited Dalian on April 28, 2026, for a 1-night, 2-day trip with China Southern Airlines. I arrived at the hotel about an hour before check-in and asked the front desk if early check-in would be possible, as I planned to leave my luggage and go sightseeing. At that time, a staff member named Leo Liu warmly welcomed me and assisted me in fluent Korean and English. Thanks to him, the check-in process was very smooth, and he even upgraded my room. I was very happy to stay in such a wonderful room during my trip. He also kindly offered complimentary breakfast, which I truly enjoyed. In addition, he explained nearby sightseeing spots in detail using a map, which was very helpful for my trip. Leo Liu was extremely kind, attentive, and proactive in understanding what guests need. His thoughtful service made my stay in Dalian truly enjoyable and memorable. If I visit Dalian again in the future, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again. Location was good, about 7 mins walk from Exit B of Qing Nian Da Jie (there's a shortcut to cut through a building, which you will see on the left). Generally it is easily accessible to some of the famous streets and areas such as Zhong Jie, Gu Gong (palace). It is also easy to change train to other lines. Taking Didi is less recommended as I felt that the traffic are generally quite heavy, public transport is more convenient. If road condition is good, will take about 20 mins to international airport from hotel as well. Overall, it's good!

Zuerst buchte ich ein anderes Hotel, war aber von der Sauberkeit enttäuscht und das Zimmer roch sehr schlecht. Also stornierte ich es und buchte dieses Hotel. Insgesamt hatte ich eine großartige Erfahrung und kann es Reisenden wärmstens empfehlen. Als Marketing- und Tourismusfachmann bin ich mit dem Hotelservice vollkommen zufrieden. Ich schrieb ihnen auch eine persönliche Nachricht über meine Gefühle. Das Ein- und Auschecken verlief sehr freundlich und nett. Nochmals vielen Dank für die Bereitstellung hervorragender Dienste. Ich hoffe, Sie werden auch gegenüber anderen Reisenden dieselbe Einstellung beibehalten. Abschließend ein persönliches Dankeschön dafür, dass Sie mein Essen zweimal aufgewärmt haben. Beste Wünsche für das Hotelpersonal. Der einzige freundliche Vorschlag, den ich für sie habe, betrifft das Frühstücksmenü. Bitte auch mehr Gemüsegerichte und Kekse. Die meisten Gerichte sind mit Fleisch (Schwein) gemischt. Tut mir leid, ich hatte einige Vorbehalte gegenüber Fleisch, daher mochte ich die Gerichte nicht. Tatsächlich aß ich Eierküchlein, Brot mit Butter und trank eine Tasse Kaffee. Ich hoffe, Sie werden daran arbeiten. Insgesamt gibt es viele Essensoptionen für diejenigen, die zum Frühstück Fleisch (Schwein) essen. Danke.

I had the most wonderful stay here. Firstly, the homestay itself is so clean and pretty. My room was exactly as it was in the pictures. I had a bathtub by the window with a seaview and a large room all to myself. The warm lighting made the ambience even more spectacular. I absolutely loved the New Chinese Style Interior Design. It is one of my favourite interiors, and it was such a dream to stay here. The complimentary Chinese tea set was refreshing. The staff here is excellent, too! I was attended by Mr. Sun, who spoke good English (which was very helpful for me as I am a foreigner with limited Mandarin). Upon my request, Mr. Sun provided me with a vegetarian breakfast and even brought it to my ropm to enjoy. It was a very substantial breakfast: millet porridge, warm milk, steamed sweet potato, corn on the cob, Broccoli, carrots, pumpkin, and a vegetable bao with fruits. There is also a complimentary bracelet-making station for homestay guests. Mr. Sun also provided me with free-flow drinking water as the weather was lovely and sunny. Location-wise, you can walk to the nearby theme park by crossing the pedestrian bridge and there are plenty of (high-end seafood restaurants) but there is also a supermarket and restaurant next door that was within my budget. The view of the bridge from my room at night was absolutely beautiful with the lights. Overall, I would really encourage anyone visiting Dalian to stay here! 😍😍 Thank you so much, Qingsong Yaju!
