Here's why we gave the experience 3 stars; First of all, when we booked the hotel, neither Trip.com nor The Aster, Los Angeles, mentioned anything about the rooftop being closed on the dates we booked. On May 13 and May 14, we stayed in room 3 0 6. The hotel pictures showed and bragged about having a rooftop and plenty of pics of people there, and nowhere was revealed anywhere on their website or Trip.com that would not be available on those dates. When we reached out to Trip.com, they pretty much said that the rooftop amenities weren't listed as part of our package. Really Trip.com? You have to list the rooftop as the amenity... Got it. That was so lame a response. Everyone knows people book due to the pictures, and this was a seriously lame response from the Trip.com customer support personnel. We decided to save our opinion for this review. The Aster had nice people, but it's hard to believe the availability missing on their website is a detail they would miss. Their hotel has impeccable detail and design. One can only surmise they conveniently left out the information because people would obviously not book there and go somewhere else. I told the front receptionist this as we were checking in. She mentioned, well, it said it on *******. But we didn't book through *******, we booked through Trip.com. And those specific details were not evident. After July 1st the Government is getting stricter on transparency with hotels having to mention things so we missed this window, but we're happy to hold hotels like The Aster accountable:-) Also, on Wednesday, we checked out, and they had a fire alarm drill test that lasted about 10 minutes. They forgot to mention another minor ”inconvenience” when we booked on their website. It was at 10 am. It wasn't so bad, but to state the obvious, they left out the ability for customers to decide by not making that information transparent during the booking process. It's not like the fire department or tech people didn't schedule that in advance. 1. If you book through Trip.com, please make sure you specify, call their customer support, and get it in writing. The clickbait and pictures seem shady and sketchy and reflect a lack of credibility in the process. 2. Trip.com asked which room we wanted to be in. When we picked the room, we picked the city-view balcony. But we got put in the poolside view instead. It wasn't bad, but that was missing in the booking details that Trip.com sent to The Aster. My fiance ended up being okay with the poolside view, but it should have been in the booking details via Trip.com. So please, please make sure you watch this if you book through them and call the hotel in advance. Lastly, the decor, valet, and, in general, the service people were very nice and thoughtful. We would give them 5 stars.

Convenient location and walking distance to the bay. Spacious room with luxury design. Bathroom with privacy at the back of the room. Very comfy bedding and nice staff. The coffee dispenser was empty in the lobby, will be perfect if refilled it in time.

Staying on a day whwn the weather was horrible undoutably did not help this being good review as we were unable to use the pool areas or enjoy the balconies or the bikes etc but I have to say I was disappointed in the room itself given the cost. When it costs in the $600 range I expected more. 300 square feet, with one chair, a bench along one wall facing away from the TV and a work space that I can only describe as laughable is less than I expected. I confess if I had paid more attention to the pictures, they were accurate. The quality of the bedding and the towels etc were top notch as were the robes and other aids. The fridge was strange but it met our needs. The lighting was interesting. Lights turned them selves off and on automatically not always when you wanted them to, including in the middle of the night if you did not want wake your partner. When the lights went off in half the room we were startled but it seems this just might be to keep the electric bill down as when we rentered the area they came back on. They tell you the internet and parking are free but are they? They were the only two things I recieved for a $60 resort fee. On the bright side the staff was excellent though they would benifit having a larger check in area. The dinner at their restaurant was outstanding. Beware, that if you have any walking disabilities some rooms not on the first floor are only accessible via the stair way. Our designated room was one of them and we have disabilities. The staff was able to do some moving around and all was well but if you are going to stay there make sure they are aware.

Ausstattung: Sehr gut, allerdings verfügt das Bad über keine bewegliche Dusche Hygiene: Sehr gut. Auch der Typ, der das Gästezimmer reinigt, ist sehr nett. Umwelt: Nicht erwähnt. Absolut zentral gelegen, mit weitem Blick auf LA Service: fünf Sterne. Ich habe meine Zimmerkarte verloren, tut mir leid. Die Lobby befindet sich im 70. Stock und bietet eine sehr gute Aussicht. Auf der 71. Etage befindet sich ein Touristenrestaurant, für das eine Sicherheitskontrolle und eine Bezahlung erforderlich sind. Das nächste Mal gehe ich dorthin und schaue mir das an

Der Hotelservice ist sehr gut, der Robin-Service auf der Rezeption ist besonders ehrlich und gut und entspricht den Standards des britischen Herren. Wenn Sie den Wagen nehmen, wird jemand Ihnen die Tür zu ziehen, und die Mitarbeiter sehen Sie auch besonders enthusiastisch. Der Gast ist zurückgekehrt, bewegend. Die Hotellandschaft ist gut, die Umwelt ist sicher, gehört zu den Bergen Beverly.

Nachdem Sie mit dem Bus von Los Angeles nach Anaheim gefahren sind, sind es vom Disneyland-Bahnhof aus etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Straße war voller Menschen, die von Disney zurückkehrten, was eine fröhliche Atmosphäre schaffte. Das Hotel ist sauber und man bekommt zwei 500-ml-Flaschen Wasser. Wir waren für 2 Nächte und 3 Tage hier und bekamen zusätzliches Wasser, wenn wir darum baten. Der Pool war sehr sauber und das angeschlossene Café war köstlich! Während meines Aufenthalts besuchte ich den Disney Adventure Park und das Angel Stadium! Das Stadion ist 40 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, also habe ich einen Bus genommen. Der Bus auf dem Rückweg wird sehr voll sein. Am letzten Tag sollte ich um 5 Uhr morgens abreisen, und als ich mich an der Rezeption erkundigte, sagten sie mir, ich solle um 4 Uhr morgens auschecken und eine Stunde in der Lobby verbringen. Die Lobby war groß und sauber, es gab also kein Problem. Uber holte mich um 17 Uhr sicher ab und wir kamen in etwa 40 Minuten am LAX an.

Fantastisches Hotel! Lage, Service, Zimmer, Lounge, Essen, alles top. Außerdem gibt es einen fantastischen Swimmingpool, das Personal ist immer für alle Eventualitäten erreichbar und hochprofessionell (Robert an der Rezeption und Jay Top-Concierge sowie Cecilia Al Laurel). Hinzu kommen 30 US-Dollar pro Tag als kostenlose Erstattung der dort gezahlten Steuern, die überall im Hotel ausgegeben werden können. Das geräumige Zimmer umfasst zwei Flaschen Wasser pro Tag, eine Nespresso-Maschine mit Pads und ein gut ausgestattetes Fitnesscenter. Allen italienischen und internationalen Freunden kann ich dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Ah, ich habe es vergessen: Es liegt in der Nähe einer U-Bahn-Station, sodass Sie sich ruhig und einfach in der Stadt und ihrer Umgebung fortbewegen können. Ein wirklich wunderbares Hotel, was die Hardware betrifft. Leider vermute ich, dass ich als Ostasiener eine Art Rassendiskriminierung bei diesem Grundstück hätte begegnen können. So wurde mir beispielsweise gefragt, wie ich meinen europäischen Pass bekam und, mehrmals, wo ich „ursprünglich“ war. Ich wurde absichtlich mit einem Untergeschoss mit absolut keiner Aussicht (gegenüber ihrem Büroraum in einem engen Atrium; das Zimmer in meinen Fotos ist nach mir für eine Aufrüstung bezahlt).

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben umgehend um eine Nacht verlängert, nachdem wir vom Receptionisten Josh so warmherzig empfangen wurden und das tolle Zimmer sahen (hatten ein King Size mit Cheminée reseviert). Das Hotel ist bezaubernd, wunderschön gelegen und verfügt über eine tolle Bar sowie ein geniales hoteleigenes Restaurant. Das Essen im Restaurant war top und der Service dank Devin herausragend! Der Innenhof des Hotels verfügt über zwei wärmende gemütliche Feuerstellen mit direktem Blick aufs Meer, an denen wir die super Cocktails vom Barkeeper Louis von der hoteleigenen Bar genossen. Alles wirklich sehr zu empfehlen! Hätten wir noch etwas mehr Zeit gehabt, hätten wir sehr gerne den Spa-Bereich getestet. Das Clement Monterey ist ein ruhig und sehr gut gelegenes Hotel (9 Minuten zu Fuss bis zum Hafen). In der unmittelbaren Umgebung hat es einige kleine Boutiquen, schöne Restaurants, und einladende Cafés. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt hinter dem Hotel verfügbar, die bequem über einen Übergang erreicht werden können.

My second time stay in this hotel. Quite and lovely view from the hill. The bath products are Byredo which awesome! Only elevators are aged but still work fine😊
