Zum zweiten Mal in Chengdu und dieses Hotel war das bequemste. Die Zimmer sind groß und der Empfangsservice war super gut. Vor dem Check-in hat der Hotelmanager mich kontaktiert, um das Zimmer und meine Bedürfnisse zu klären. Wir haben zwei Kinder und bekamen sogar Frühstück. Im dritten Stock gibt es ein Restaurant. Ich habe dem Empfang meine Situation erklärt, da ich kein privates Zimmer reservieren konnte, und sie haben proaktiv das Restaurant im dritten Stock kontaktiert, um einen Tisch zu reservieren – super! Das Mingren Jinhui im dritten Stock war unglaublich lecker. Das Mingren Hotel wird definitiv meine erste Wahl sein, wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Chengdu komme.

Ich checkte am Nachmittag des 30. April im Chengdu Halo Hyatt Centennial Hotel ein. Gegen 19 Uhr stolperte ich beim Verlassen des Hotels auf den Stufen am Haupteingang (die Überwachungskameras des Hotels haben den Vorfall aufgezeichnet). Ich fiel hin und konnte nicht mehr aufstehen. Ich saß etwa zehn Minuten am Boden, bis meine Tochter mir aufhalf. Mehrere Angestellte, die sich nach meinem Sturz am Eingang unterhielten, kamen zu mir und fragten, ob alles in Ordnung sei (einer von ihnen war vermutlich ein Manager). Meine Tochter riet mir, mich hinzusetzen und auszuruhen, und sie gingen wieder. Mit über 60 Jahren hätte ich einen solchen Sturz eigentlich nicht verkraften können. Obwohl ich mir nichts gebrochen habe, erlitt ich Prellungen am Knie, Handgelenk, Ellbogen und Brustkorb. Seit einigen Tagen bin ich auf Schmerzpflaster angewiesen. Schweres Atmen, Lachen und Husten sind extrem schmerzhaft; ich brauche die Hilfe meiner Tochter, um aufzustehen. Ich hatte erwartet, dass sich jemand vom Hotel noch am selben Abend und am folgenden Tag nach meinen Verletzungen erkundigen würde, schließlich bin ich Gast in einem Fünf-Sterne-Hyatt-Hotel. Zu meiner großen Enttäuschung und Wut ist jedoch eine Woche vergangen, ohne dass sich jemand vom Hotel bei mir gemeldet hat. Am Morgen des 1. Mai sah ich beim Verlassen des Hotels ein Schild mit der Aufschrift „Gut festhalten“. Beweist die Tatsache, dass das Hotel dieses Schild einen Tag nach meinem Sturz aufgestellt hat, dass es nicht fahrlässig gehandelt hat und die Sicherheitsvorkehrungen in Ordnung waren? Warum hat niemand nachgefragt, in welchem ​​Zimmer sich ein Gast befand oder wie schwer seine Verletzungen waren, obwohl bekannt war, dass er am Haupteingang gestürzt und verletzt worden war? Hatten sie Angst vor einer Klage? Wenn ich wirklich Schadensersatz fordern wollte, wäre ich direkt ins Krankenhaus gegangen. Angesichts des Ausmaßes meiner Verletzungen hätte ein Krankenhausbericht die Entschädigung durch das Hotel sichergestellt. Aber wir haben das nicht getan; wir wollten einfach die Reaktion des Hotels abwarten … und eine Woche später haben wir immer noch nichts gehört.

This review is extremely late. Apologies to the incredible staff. STAFF APPRECIATION: I was cared for this time by Xiao-Ya, Xiao-Li, the driver Master Bao and Ms. Xu in the restaurant. Due to the nature of my work, when I travel it is always late at night. Even though it was after 9pm when I arrived, I was still picked up at the railway station and taken safely to the hotel. Not only was I kindly received when I arrived, but my room had also been upgraded for free to the Cloud Room. The next day I started out early in order to see as much of the area as I could. I had many questions about where to go, how to get there, and how to purchase tickets and the staff answered them promptly and completely even including screenshots and step-by-step directions. They also offered transportation to and from one of the sites and helped me at the ticket office. I cannot stress how kind, warm, professional, and patient everyone was with me especially with my limited Chinese and I appreciate it so, so much. HOTEL REVIEW: Quite by happy coincidence, this is the second Solo Wandering Hotel I have stayed at and I will now actively seek them out when I travel. They are the whole package and given the price and the many hotel options, that is something I seek out. However, the Wandering franchise truly takes it to another level. From the staff to the location to the rooms, everything has the feel of restful retreat with every need catered to. As with the last location, this hotel is also super conveniently located: just steps or a quick golf cart ride away from the major attractions I’d come to see such as the Great Buddha and temples and the cruise ship. The views are indescribable, the location quiet and serene a welcome respite from city light and noise pollution. On my arrival I was greeted with warm milk and snacks before bed. The minibar was among the best stocked I have ever seen. They also sold wine, which I treated myself to as well, given it has been difficult for me to find that particular brand and type of wine where I live. After returning home, I wish I’d purchased more! The room truly gave one the feeling of walking and sleeping amongst the clouds, like something out of a costume drama. Unfortunately, I came late and was unable to use the outdoor pool. Maybe next time!! The only drawback was that there were a few bugs inside, but that comes with being right in the middle of nature and having the doors and windows open. I was advised to keep them closed for this reason and insect repellant was also offered. I slept quite well and had no insect bites when I left. ^_^ Quite possibly my favorite part of my stay was the dining. I am a foodie and definitely judge a place by what they offer and how it appeals to my senses. Teatime here is a MUST if you have the time. I indulged after walking around all day and before checking out and departing for home (I was graciously offered an extended checkout when I was late returning from one tour). It was the perfect afternoon refresher. The appearance, scent, flavor, taste, and temperature were all perfect. I was alone and couldn’t finish everything and it really felt like such a waste. After check-out, I received a gift bag with tasty local snacks. TLDR; Staff goes above and beyond regardless of the hour. They are a great resource for information about the local sites. The location is quiet, picturesque, and conveniently located. The amenities are top of their class. 10/10 recommend.

Tolles Zimmer mit atemberaubender Aussicht, allerdings ist das Bett etwas hart. Einige Mitarbeiter sind unfreundlich, insbesondere der Fahrer, und die Lage ist ungünstig. Es gibt kein Restaurant oder ähnliches in der Nähe des Hotels, die einzige Möglichkeit ist die Hotelkantine. Das Hotel ist außerdem sehr weit vom Naturschutzgebiet Jiuzhai-Gou entfernt, und der vom Hotel angebotene Transportservice begleitet Sie nicht zum Naturschutzgebiet, sondern bringt Sie nur zur nächsten Bushaltestelle. Für die Rückfahrt vom Naturschutzgebiet zum Hotel ist ein Taxi erforderlich. Insgesamt ist es ein Ort mit toller Landschaft und viel Platz, jedoch sind einige Mitarbeiter unfreundlich und die Lage ist wirklich schlecht.

This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms. Some noteworthy details: - Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort. - The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include: (a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now! (b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room (c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C. (d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold. - Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them. - We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away. - We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2. - Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too. - We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests. Areas of improvement: - Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake. - The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper. - Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor). Thank you Ocean Spring Resort Chengdu! We had a great stay here. Will definitely be back!

Das Zimmer war sehr gut (auch der Blick auf die schneebedeckten Berge war eine Überraschung). Alles war sehr gut gemacht, insbesondere der Service. Alle Mitarbeiter haben ihr Bestes gegeben, um die Hilfe zu koordinieren und bereitzustellen. Meine Familie hatte insbesondere Probleme mit der Höhenkrankheit und Rhinitis, und alle haben sich koordiniert und das Problem so schnell wie möglich gelöst, sogar mitten in der Nacht. Ich mag Sam, den diensthabenden Manager. Es war ein sehr schönes Reiseerlebnis.

Das Hotel ist perfekt für einen Kurztrip nach Chengdu und die umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal im Hotel, da der Service ausgezeichnet ist (und englischsprachig!!), die Zimmer sehr sauber sind und es auch eine super Lage hat. Wir haben auch zum zweiten Mal ein Upgrade in eine Suite bekommen. Wir können das Hotel sehr weiterempfehlen und würden beim nächsten Mal wiederkommen.

Unsere vier Nachtaufenthalte bei Four Points Chunxi Rd. waren großartig. Das Hotel liegt zentral im Herzen des Chengdu Hauptshopping-Bereichs, Sie können sie nennen.. IFS, Taikoo Li und vieles mehr. Das Hotel war sauber und der Service war großartig. Besonders dank Delta, der Rezeptionist, der unseren Aufenthalt erleichtert hat. Sie hat nicht nur einen guten Befehl von Englisch, sondern auch eine Wechat-Gruppe, wo Gäste direkt mit ihr reden können, um fast alles zu beantragen.. kinda wie ein Butler-Service! Sie bot uns sogar ein zusätzliches Frühstück für die ganze Unterkunft. Insgesamt hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel. Es gab jedoch einige Konsequenzen: 1 Das Hotel AC im März wurde zentralisiert und scheint auf 25 Celsius oder höher zu befestigen. Die Gäste konnten die Temperatur nicht wie wünschen anpassen. Ich persönlich denke, es war zu heiß. 2. Der Wasserdruck war leicht bis schwach. Nach einem langen Tag, der um die Stadt ging, brauchen Sie wirklich eine gute Dusche! 3. Leider gab es eine Wartung des Stromnetzes in den letzten 2 Nächten unseres Aufenthalts. Einige Einrichtungen waren nicht im Dienst. Nicht der Schuld des Hotels.. aber wir waren nur traurig!

Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Hotel ist ideal gelegen für einen Besuch des Parks, der nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt ist. Es gibt viele hervorragende Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein automatischer Übersetzer steht zur Verfügung. Die Whirlpools werden auf Anfrage bereitgestellt und sind sehr angenehm. Das Hotel duftet herrlich und die Zimmer sind ruhig. Das Frühstück ist großartig; lediglich authentischer Sichuan-Schwarztee fehlt. Alles war perfekt; wir können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

We chose this hotel mainly for a skiing trip, with the added bonus of having hot spring facilities on-site. We stayed from 28–30 December 2025. Unfortunately, while there was a small amount of snow at the top of the mountain, there wasn’t enough snow for skiing, which is worth keeping in mind as snow conditions are very weather-dependent. The hotel itself has good facilities, including hot springs, sauna, and a swimming pool. The hot spring experience felt private and relaxing, as there are multiple smaller tubs designed for individuals or family groups, rather than one large communal pool. There is also a dedicated changing area with showers, plenty of towels, and hair dryers, which is well-organised and convenient after soaking. The surrounding area is quite deserted, with only a few old shops across the road selling BBQ skewers and basic convenience store snacks. The police station is immediately next door, which adds a sense of security. Dining options nearby are very limited, so the hotel restaurant is the most decent and reliable place to eat. We particularly enjoyed their non-spicy chicken and mushroom hotpot, priced at 368 yuan, which was generous enough for a family of 3–4 people. The breakfast was also yummy and a highlight of our stay. One nice extra was the complimentary photo session with a professional photographer. You receive 3 photos for free, and if you choose to purchase all the digital photos taken, it costs around 400 yuan for approximately 43 photos. Transportation was one downside. We didn’t enjoy using Didi in this area. On the way to Xiling Snow Mountain, the Didi fare was 40 yuan, but the driver asked for an additional 30 yuan to cover his return trip. For the return journey, the driver didn’t accept the fixed price, used the meter instead, and requested an extra 20 yuan for parking fees at the mountain. For reference, the cable car prices at Xiling Snow Mountain are 320 yuan per person per day to the top, or 250 yuan per person per day to the halfway point. If you stay at hotels near the cable car, you only pay for the ride once. Since Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is farther away, you have to pay the same cable car rate every day, which adds up. Overall, Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is a comfortable hotel with good hot spring facilities and decent food, but it’s best suited for travellers who value relaxation over convenience. If skiing is your main goal, staying closer to the cable car may be more cost-effective and practical.
