EXCELLENT location -- very central. Very nice and friendly staff; decent breakfast (although getting coffee proved difficult with a coffee machine seemingly hooked to the wrong voltage...). Absolutely massive bed. Good aircon. The only difficulty (and the reason I took points off) was getting some cleaning done: despite requesting it on my third day, nothing was done (except for emptying the trash cash, weirdly). Similarly, after paying to get a laundry done, half of my clothes were returned still stained (but smelling clean, somehow). After I pointed this out, they graciously redid the laundry and refunded me. This time, the clothes looked clean, but smelled like damp. Still, the front desk manager was very apologetic and helpful.

I decided to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had a swimming pool and was great value for money. Getting to Dunyo Palace was very easy on public transport as I caught bus no 33 from the centre of Bukhara straight to the outside of the hotel. It was easy. I have stayed at Dunyo palace before and I had a great stay. My room was bigger than expected with a fridge, air conditioning and a kettle. I was greeted by the nice reception lady she was very helpful. I had breakfast and it was a buffet with a large selection of Uzbekistan breakfast foods. An omelette was freshly prepared for me in the mornings. The hotel pool was really nice to swim in after a long day walking around sight seeing in Bukhara. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will stay again in the future. The images I share are of the room I stayed in on my departure, the air conditioning, and the bathroom area. Das Mercure Hotel ist ein so schönes Juwel in Buchara. Wir waren für 4 Nächte hier und alles war fantastisch. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Anwesen ist wunderschön mit modernem Design und einem Hauch von traditionellem Charme! Wir liebten den Swimmingpool und das Hamam vor Ort und nutzten sie jeden Tag. Wir gingen auch gerne ins Saffron, das Restaurant/die Bar im Hotel, mit fantastischem Essen, nettem Ambiente und einer geräumigen Terrasse mit Blick auf die Altstadt. Obwohl das Hotel am Rande der Altstadt liegt, sind die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir waren absolut begeistert von diesem Ort und können ihn allen, die Buchara besuchen, wärmstens empfehlen!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Boutique Old City, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. This made it incredibly easy to explore the cultural charm of the city without needing transportation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the team went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed. They were always ready to assist with recommendations, directions, and even small personal requests, which added a thoughtful touch to the overall experience. The room itself was beautifully designed, blending traditional aesthetics with modern comfort. It was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with attention to detail in both décor and amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite the central location, which can often be a challenge in busy areas. One of the standout features of Boutique Old City is its charming courtyard. It provides a peaceful space to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and soak in the historical ambiance. In the mornings, breakfast was served with a variety of local and international options. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start the day. Another aspect worth mentioning is the hotel’s authenticity. Unlike larger chain hotels, Boutique Old City offers a more intimate and culturally immersive experience. The architecture and interior design reflect the heritage of the region, allowing guests to feel more connected to the destination. Overall, my stay at Boutique Old City exceeded expectations. It combines excellent location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation in a way that truly enhances the travel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic stay in the old city.

Das Hotel ist charakteristisch eingerichtet und liegt in einer belebten Gegend. In der Nähe befinden sich Banken, Kinos und Restaurants. In der Nähe gibt es ein Steakhouse, das hervorragend schmeckt und in dem sich viele Einheimische zum Abendessen treffen. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, voll ausgestattet und sauber. Es gibt viele Frühstücksvarianten, darunter auch lokale Gerichte. Es gibt Innen- und Außenpools, die jedoch öffentlich zugänglich sind und aufgrund der hohen Besucherzahlen nicht genutzt werden. Der Zimmerpreis ist etwas teuer.

I had a wonderful stay. The most beautiful room I experienced in Uzbekistan. The hotel is built around a central open courtyard, with rooms on all sides. When you step out of your room, you’re on a balcony overlooking the space, facing the other rooms across the way. It gives the whole place a really calm, traditional feel. What truly made the stay special, though, was the hospitality. The hotel is family-run, and the owner is incredibly kind and thoughtful. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, getting us water at night, arranging something for us to eat before a late departure, and helping organize a taxi. His son also helps run the place and he's really kind, diligent and attentive Breakfast was also very enjoyable, served in a bright and welcoming room that made mornings feel relaxed and pleasant. Overall, a warm, comfortable, and genuinely caring place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bukhara.

Die Lage ist in Ordnung. Es liegt in einer kleinen Gasse mit vielen B&Bs und Hotels in der Altstadt. Es ist etwa fünf Gehminuten vom Teich im Zentrum der Altstadt entfernt. Zu den Burgen ist es nicht allzu weit. Die Einrichtungen sind anständig. Ich wohne in einem tiefer gelegenen unterirdischen Innenhof, der sehr ruhig ist und eine gute Umgebung bietet. Es gibt auch einen ersten und zweiten Stock. Die Zimmerausstattung ist durchschnittlich, man kann nur sagen, dass sie der eines Budget-Hotels ähnelt, und der Wasserdurchfluss aus der Düse ist nicht groß. Man kann nur sagen, dass die Ausstattung der ist so lala, also werde ich damit auskommen. Das Frühstück ist nichts Besonderes. Wie in anderen Hotels auf dem Weg gibt es nur wenige Dinge, und nur wenige sind für chinesische Mägen geeignet, daher ist es schwierig, einen Kommentar abzugeben. Der Service ist ziemlich gut, alle Fragen werden beantwortet, die Rezeption spricht fließend Englisch und die Kommunikation ist grundsätzlich barrierefrei. Als die zahnmedizinischen Einweggeräte jedoch aufgebraucht waren, wurden sie nicht ersetzt und mussten zur Rezeption gehen, um sie abzuholen. Es gibt mehrere Leute namens Minzifa. Wenn Sie ein Taxi nehmen, werden Sie zuerst auf Minzifa-Reisen und dann auf Hotel-Minzifa stoßen.

We enjoyed a brief, one-night stay at this charming hotel, and it left a positive impression. The room was spotless and well-maintained, offering comfort and a cozy atmosphere. Its location was truly unbeatable—just a few steps from the main square in the heart of the old city, making it the perfect base for exploring the historical sights and vibrant local culture. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure our stay was smooth. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who graciously covered our taxi fare when I didn’t have smaller banknotes on hand—an unexpected gesture that truly reflected the hotel's commitment to hospitality. Breakfast was modest but satisfactory, offering a simple continental selection that provided an easy, light start to the day. While it wasn’t particularly remarkable, it served its purpose for a short stay. Overall, our time at the hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The combination of its prime location, clean accommodations, and attentive service made for an enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for travelers seeking convenience and a warm welcome in the city’s historic center. PS please put tea bags in original covers and add coffee into drinks selection.

Sehr gutes, exquisites Hotel, das Zimmer ist komfortabel, und gleichzeitig betreibt es ein Red West Restaurant, das jeden Tag hier zum Essen ist. Die Lage ist großartig und die Ausfahrt ist die Abavanti-Bild und eine Vielzahl von Universitäten und Baza, die Hauptattraktionen können zu Fuß erreicht werden.

I am so glad to have chosen this guesthouse. It was our best experience among all the other hotels. The owner, Iha, was so hospitable. The rooms were not big given that there were 3 beds but it was comfortable. The toilet was clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated too. I was having sinus problems and Iha made a pot of mint tea for me, complimentary. Very kind! He also took us on a tour to the Summer Palace. Som reviews has said it was difficult to locate. That’s because the entrance is facing a side lane. I am putting a pic here so that you can recognise how it look like as your taxi drive past.
