Our stay was actually nice. The only frustrating part is we had to come a day early for our stay due to bad weather coming Saturday night where we live & we had to be sure we could get home by Sunday. I spoke with the Trip.com gentleman and with me on the line he called the Delta hotel because I wanted to switch Saturday night to Thursday night due to bad weather coming. We were there to meet our new born granddaughter. After he spoke with Crystal, a customer service representative at Delta, he said everything will be fine, but I will need to make Thursday’s reservation directly with Delta reservations so he transferred me. Before he transferred me, I asked him if Saturday will be canceled and we will not have to pay. He said Delta Customerservice will take care of that so as I spoke to Crystal about it, she said you need to talk to Trip.com to get that taken care of because Trip.com does not refund, I told her I did talk to Trip.com and they told me that Delta will take care of it. And she said she would look into it so she transferred me to the reservation line and I made the reservation for Thursday, March 12. As we checked in, I brought this situation up and the gentleman at the front desk said to ask about it Friday morning because I had to check out then check back in. So Friday morning I went to the desk to discuss the situation and to check in again because this booking was through Trip.com. The manager was there and she explained to me that they don’t give a refund, but I explained to her that I talked to Trip.com and Crystal, from Delta and she said she would take care of it. To me taking care of it was canceling, and we would not have to pay for that extra day so the manager stated she would look into it. Saturday morning, as I checked out, Crystal was at the front desk and I went through the hole discussion again, and she did have something written down that she looked at, and she said we need to cancel through Trip.com the third-party reservation and that Delta will not refund us for Saturday night. I do understand the rules, but also as customer service from both Trip.com and Delta I would think because we’ve stayed Thursday night that we should not have to pay for Saturday night being that it was the same amount of nights. In the end we paid for a night that we did not stay therefore I feel either Delta or Trip.com got paid twice for that night cause I’m sure that room was taken by another customer, my hope is that we can be refunded for the Saturday night we were charged for and did not stay on top of this. We ended up paying more which I was fine to do being that we had to book through Delta for Thursday night, which I will always book directly with a hotel, and no longer a third-party since they do not consider blizzard weather a reason to get home. Please consider a refund for Saturday night. Thank you, Mindy Kottke.

My husband and I travel to Milwaukee each year for his birthday. We chose this hotel for its location in proximity to our dinner reservation and the attractions we had planned. There were several negative reviews for this hotel regarding check in, cleanliness, and parking, I'd like to share my feedback to ensure travelers do not deter from staying at this hotel for those reasons. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by a friendly front desk staff and were able to check in promptly at 4pm. We were able to conveniently park in their side lot while we brought our belongings up to our room. The room was extremely spacious and had beautiful upgrades and convenient amenities such as a full kitchen. The high ceilings really made this room unique. Everything in the room was very clean. There is a parking garage directly across from the hotel which was easy to access and only cost $22.00 a night to park. When staying in downtown MKE it is to be expected that you will pay for parking, and knowing our car was in a covered garage was peace of mind. We choose to Uber to our destinations, so we didn't have to find parking multiple times, and we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our ride to arrive. My only disappointment was there was no happy hour. I was under the impression there was a cocktail hour offered, but it didn't take away from our stay, as there were several liquor stores within walking distance to grab a drink for the room while we got ready. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with options, fresh, hot, and the egg bites were delicious. The last thing I will add which is huge for me, they have complimentary water, hot water for tea, and coffee in the lobby at all times. I hate forgetting to bring a water bottle for the middle of the night when staying at a hotel, so I loved this feature. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again in the future! Don't let the negative reviews sway your decision. This was a beautiful, newly converted hotel that you should absolutely check out next time you are staying in the area.

Great location downtown across from the Baird Center. The bed was comfy which I've come to expect from Marriott and they even had feather pillows - another plus. Nice bathroom and shower. Breakfast was good with multiple choices. That's where the pluses end! We had a conference to attend at 3 so we wanted to check in at 2; one hour before 'check in' technically begins. We were told our room was ready and she took our cc information, etc. but then we were told we would be charged $15 for early check in - seriously?! Don't tell me my room is ready and then charge me to use it! They offered to store our luggage but was afraid what that charge would be so we left it in our car. She did not like that we self parked right across the street either- in the same parking facility the valet uses. When we returned from our conference at 7:00 pm, our reserved king suite was no longer available and we would have to settle for 2 queen beds. In addition, the information the front desk person had taken earlier was no where to be found. Now the gentleman had trouble completing the reservation and had to start over several times. He finally gave us a queen suite which was the weirdest configuration I've ever seen. And there was no alarm clock, no lotion, and the TV resolution was terrible. I was told Marriott was tired of people leaving alarms set for the next people occupying the room so they no longer put them in rooms. (Really! The first thing I do in a hotel is check the alarm clock to make sure it isn't set!) Lotion is available but you have to ask for it at the front desk - but they don't tell you that until you check out! We will not be staying at this Springhill Suites again when in Milwaukee.

This is my second time to stay here. I have a service dog who is an ESA, which I had informed the hotel of when I made the booking. I had stayed there the previous weekend and when I checked in, there weren’t any issues with any of the staff with my having an ESA staying there. I only had an incident with the night manager who complained about the dog being in the hotel. This is when I was on the way to eat at the restaurant. The host & the server had no issues with the dog being there and they commented that she was actually more behaved than many small children that come the food was amazing btw. I twice had the dog near me as well in the pool area tethered while I was swimming & while I was in the hot tub & there were no issues with the staff then. However, the next time I stayed, they would not let me have the dog with me in the pool area tethered. They then ended up kicking me out of the hotel as I would not leave the pool as I felt this to be unjust as the dog wasn’t bothering anyone. Also, she cannot be in the room by herself as she will cry & bark which would bother our neighbors. I also will not leave her in the car. Basically because of my ESA dog-a Pomski of 14lbs, I was kicked out of the hotel at 10:30 at night escorted by 3 policemen on a Saturday with nowhere to stay. I had to sleep on my friends couch for a few hours, and find another place to stay the next day which excepted my ESA dog without any issues. I will not be staying at this resort again because of this horrific experience.

Our stay was short because we were just in town for a wedding, but you get what you pay for. Especially for only 62$ a night. It was decent cleanliness, i mainly marked it down because we found and killed 3 bugs, which bugs are like my worst enemy. We checked for bed bugs, there weren’t any. we also marked it down because of the little smell that wasn’t quite right and on one of the bed sheets there was a brown stain. a tip for the staff if they are reading this, the plug in wall scent thing needs to go upright, you put it upside down and it leaked all over the nightstand! Also to maybe even the owner, bug traps are so cheap, just some sticky ones behind the fridge and dressers would do you wonders. It would prevent from your customers having to see the bugs as well as having to kill them. The amenities are marked low because the pool was closed, and the restaurant that’s attached seems to not be in business. there was no signs that we could see saying that the business was closed but it looked that way. The location is good, 10 minutes away from downtown! it’s a little bit of a rural area but it worked well for us as the wedding venue was only 10 minutes away. So any future customers, if you are expecting a holiday inn or better, you aren’t gonna get it! This feels more like a mix between motel 6 and a super 8. Lower your expectations if you come here. it’s a doable place for a cheap stay.

Ich wurde nicht im Checkout gesagt, dass ich die Farbe unserer Armbandbande ändern musste und wir waren in den Pools für 4 Stunden, bevor es bemerkt wurde. Ich hatte einen 5 Jahre alt, ich sah in der lazy River, als die Lebenswache sah lazy River sagte mir, dass ich gehen musste. Ich versuche zu erklären, dass ich gesagt wurde, dass ich so lange bleiben könnte, wie ich wollte, plus schreien für den 5-jährigen und ich sagte dem Kerl, dass ich auf dem Vorderbüro gehen würde. Auf meinem Weg nach oben bin ich in Jackson Manager der Lebenswachen gelaufen. Sehr nett junger Mann. Er hörte mich betrügen, meine Nichte, wir waren Regelbruch. Ich dankte ihm und seinem Personal für all ihre harte Arbeit. Er fragte, ob er helfen könnte. Ich erklärte, ich hatte keine Ahnung, dass ich die Farbe der Handgelenke ändern musste und es ist mein erstes Mal hier. Ich hatte schon geprüft und ich hatte gehofft, es sei nicht zu spät. Er versichert mir, dass es keine Probleme geben würde. Ich ging zum Vorderbüro und stand in einer langen Linie. Jackson kam oben für etwas, das mich in der Linie sah und hatte meine Handbande, so dass ich nicht warten musste. Was für eine wunderbare Erfahrung! Jackson ist wunderbar! Er kümmert sich wirklich um die Kundenerfahrung! Danke Jackson!       Früher nahm ich meine Nichte zum Geschenkgeschäft, fand sie einen kleinen Ty Beanie Tasche. Der Band hatte Metallverbindungen auf ihm, aber es war kaputt. Der Manager bot es tatsächlich an, um es mit etwas anderem zu ersetzen, aber mein Nichte hatte ihr Herz auf das gesetzt und es war letztes. Dieser Manager hat es so gut wie neu behebt!! Top-Noch-Service von diesen beiden Männern!

The staff was very friendly when I arrived, and checkout was quick and easy, which I really appreciated. I also requested a 6am wake-up call, and they followed through right on time, which was very helpful. My room was clean, the heater worked well, and overall I was happy with the comfort and cleanliness of the space. A couple of downsides: there’s no elevator, so I had to carry a heavy suitcase up the stairs to my room. Breakfast was okay, but there weren’t many options to choose from. The only other issue was the atmosphere in the common areas. While this isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault, there were a a few guests who made things feel a bit uncomfortable. One person was loudly arguing and swearing in the hallway and at the front desk, and another guest appeared to be staying long-term, scolding her kids and a baby running around the breakfast area in just a diaper. It gave the public spaces a slightly uneasy vibe, even though the staff handled things as best they could and were consistently kind and professional. Overall, I had a clean and comfortable stay, and I’d consider staying again if I needed a place in a pinch — I’d just keep expectations modest regarding amenities and the general lobby/hallway environment.

The hotel has a swimming pool, but I didn't use it, which is why I cannot comment on it in more detail. However, I have seen some people using it. There was breakfast served every morning, but the selection was basic. I wish they had regular corn flakes for cereals in addition to the three other types. However, bagels, muffins, sausages and fried egg discs plus different juices are enough to give you strength for the start of the day. Here are the positives and negatives of this hotel: ++ Conveniently located near the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, CVTC and Marshfield Clinic. There are many restaurants and fast-food places around, and there is a bus stop close by, as well as a Kwik Trip gas station. + The room was cozy and clean. + The room had a futon and a good desk. - Wifi did not always work reliably; sometimes, I had to enter the credentials repeatedly after some time went by. -- Poor sound insulation: When someone walked above my room, it felt like that person was tramping. Fortunately, the guest above me moved out, but if you want silence, insist on a room on the second floor. Overall, I had a good time at the hotel, and the staff was friendly. I feel like it provides good value for money.

Lage, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und Ausstattung waren großartig, aber leider ging es nach dem Einchecken ein wenig bergab. Das Einchecken verlief reibungslos und das Zimmer war sauber und einladend. Am nächsten Tag, als ich nachmittags zurück war, öffnete das Zimmermädchen jedoch die Räume, an denen gearbeitet wurde, und der Riegel verhinderte das Schließen der Türen. Sie würde die Türen aufhalten, selbst wenn sie sich am anderen Ende des Flurs befand. Dadurch schwingt und knallt die Tür zum Zimmer neben mir laut. Ständig, was hart war, da ich morgens auf einem Zoom-Call war und mich danach wegen meiner Abendveranstaltung ausruhen wollte. Dann, am Morgen des Check-outs, ging ich zu meinem Auto, um mein Gepäck vor dem Check-out zu verstauen, und der Shuttle-Fahrer hat mich fast erwischt, als ich in die Lobby ging, weil er sehr schnell fuhr und versuchte, auf einen Parkplatz zu schwingen Platz vor den Lobbytüren. Er schrie mich von seinem Sitzplatz aus an und gestikulierte wild mit seinen Händen, ich war mir nicht sicher, aber ich dachte, er hätte mir den Finger gegeben. Schließlich war die Frau beim Auschecken sehr knapp und unhöflich, als ich versuchte, Fragen zu stellen, weil ich eine zusätzliche Gebühr auf meinem Konto hatte - was, wie sie sagte, die Sperre für die Tage war, die mir blieben, aber mir wurden 3 Mal für 2 Tage berechnet? bleibe. Erst als ich später am Abend anrief (da sie nicht die Geduld zu haben schien, meine Fragen zu beantworten), erfuhr ich, dass meine Karte fälschlicherweise für ein anderes Zimmer belastet wurde (auf der Rechnung steht sogar ”falsche Karte”). Bis zum zweiten Tag war alles super. Ich würde wahrscheinlich wegen der Bequemlichkeit und des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses wieder hier übernachten, aber versuchen, meine Interaktionen auf ein Minimum mit dem Personal zu beschränken.
