Das Management und die Rezeption sind rund um die Uhr erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Auch das Reinigungspersonal ist sehr hilfsbereit und kooperativ. Die Lage ist unschlagbar: Nur 3 Gehminuten vom Harem Nabwi (Friede sei mit ihm) entfernt. Das Frühstück ist zwar nicht das beste, aber ich würde es mit 8 von 10 Punkten bewerten.

Das Hotel liegt günstig. Haram ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, und es gibt auch einen Shuttlebus, der die Gäste während der Gebetszeiten dorthin bringt. Allerdings war das Hotel für den gebotenen Service und die Aufenthaltsqualität überteuert. Ich vermute, das lag an der Hochsaison in Medina. Insgesamt war es aber eine gute Unterkunft.

I had a very pleasant stay at Grand Plaza Al Madinah Hotel. The location is excellent — just a short walking distance to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, which made it very convenient for prayers, especially for Fajr and Isha.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping was consistent, and the amenities provided were sufficient for a relaxing stay. The hotel staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests.
Breakfast had a good variety of options, and the overall environment of the hotel was calm and family-friendly. I truly appreciate the smooth check-in and check-out process.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madinah for Umrah or ziyarah. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Die Unterkunft liegt nicht weit von der Moschee entfernt. Der Raum ist groß genug. Die Tür hatte ein Problem mit dem Scannen und blieb 2-3 Mal hängen. Das Zimmer verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, außer der Mikrowelle. Es gibt eine Auswahl an köstlichen Speisen, sowohl herzhaft als auch süß. Es gibt viele Aufzüge, sodass die Wartezeit nicht sehr lange dauert. Das Reinigungspersonal ist nett und kann den Raum komplett füllen.

Ein erstaunliches Hotel mit noch besserem Personal! Jedes einzelne Mitarbeiter war unglaublich freundlich und hilfreich. Unser Zimmer war hell, geräumig und gegenüber Mount Uhud absolut schön. Die Lage ist perfekt: nur 6–7 Gehminuten bis Gate 335 und nur 4 Minuten bis zur Lebensmittelstraße und dem viralen Rose Ice Cream Shop. Es gibt auch viele Geschäfte in der Nähe.
Der Service war hervorragend, von Mr. Dual Miah, den Frühstücksservern, Managern und Koch, bis zu Mrs. Shahad auf der Rezeption, die unser Aufenthalt extra besondere machte. Alles war sauber, komfortabel und willkommen.
Ich empfehle dieses Hotel 10/10. Sie haben unsere Erfahrung Madinah wirklich so erinnerelig und komfortabel gemacht!

Das Hotel entspricht nicht dem Preis der verlangt wird. Zwischen 50-70€ pro Nacht wären vollkommen ok, aber alles andere ist übertrieben. Das Frühstück könnte auch besser sein, vorallem die angebotenen Brote. Immer trocken und verweicht. Schlussendlich sind da alle sehr nett, ein Luxushotel ist es aber nicht.

GGastnutzerEines der schönsten Hotels in Sachen Sauberkeit. Ich gebe ihm 100 von 10 Punkten für die Einrichtung und den Empfang. Es liegt in der Nähe der Prophetenmoschee und bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht. Es gibt Gastfreundschaft, ein Fitnessstudio und ein Buffet. Ich werde, so Gott will, bei meinem nächsten Besuch darauf vertrauen. Es ist wunderbar, ganz ehrlich, es ist unglaublich. Es ist ein komplettes und wunderschönes Hotel. 🌹🌹🌹

Aamr riadEs ist unser zweiter Aufenthalt in Folge in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist sehr gut, weniger als 5 Minuten von der Moschee entfernt. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. In allen Zimmern braucht man einen Wasserkocher, um Kaffee zuzubereiten – aber als wir darum baten, brachten sie ihn. Die Barista-Preise sind gut. Viele Restaurants sind in der Nähe.

GGastnutzerThe hotel is in a great location within a national park. The pool villas have a great view of the maraya. You can get a campfire going to relax outside at night. The rock pool is great as well, but very far from reception (5 min on a buggy). The hotel needs more buggies as they can take a long time. Breakfast was great. Dinner at harrat restaurant was good overall except for the porterhouse steak which was way overcooked.

From the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded expectations in every possible way. One of the hotel’s greatest advantages is its excellent location, just a short and convenient walk from the blessed Masjid Al Nabawi. This proximity makes it incredibly easy to attend prayers, especially Fajr and late-night prayers, without the stress of transportation or long walking distances.
The staff at Makarem Burj Al Madinah deserve special recognition. Every team member I encountered was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely eager to help. The front desk staff handled check-in smoothly and professionally, always ready to assist with questions or requests. Equally impressive was the cleaning team, who maintained the rooms and public areas to an exceptionally high standard. Their attention to detail was evident daily, and their polite and friendly manner made the stay even more comfortable.
As the hotel is only around six months old, everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms, corridors, and common areas are spotless, well maintained, and beautifully finished. There is a noticeable sense of cleanliness throughout the property, complemented by a pleasant and refreshing fragrance that greets you as soon as you enter. This consistent cleanliness and inviting atmosphere contribute greatly to a sense of peace and relaxation after long hours spent at the Haram.
Another excellent feature of the hotel is the 24-hour gym, which is thoughtfully segregated for men and women. This allows guests to exercise comfortably and privately at any time of day or night. The gym is modern, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to maintain a fitness routine even while traveling. Having round-the-clock access is especially convenient for guests with busy schedules centered around prayer times.
Breakfast at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was another highlight of the stay. The breakfast spread is generous, varied, and well organized, offering a wide selection of dishes to suit different tastes. From fresh and hot options to lighter choices, everything was prepared to a high standard. The dining area is clean and pleasant, and the breakfast staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to the day.
Overall, Makarem Burj Al Madinah delivers an outstanding hospitality experience. Its close proximity to Masjid Al Nabawi, combined with its new and pristine condition, friendly staff, excellent housekeeping, well-designed gym facilities, and high-quality breakfast, make it an ideal choice for visitors to Madinah. I would gladly stay here again so long as prices remain reasonable God willing and confidently recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and quality during their visit to this sacred city.

GGastnutzerWe had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced. We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage.
The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery). Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us. The view outside was heavenly mashAla. Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t. It such an experience and you have to do it. Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house. Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud. All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk. Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all. And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.
Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.
They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44. It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at. You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel. If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.
The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family. Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

AAnonymer BenutzerIch habe ein Dreibettzimmer reserviert, aber das Hotel hat uns großzügig auf ein Suitezimmer ohne zusätzliche Kosten aufgebaut. Es war so eine wunderbare Überraschung! Die Suite war geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet mit allen Einrichtungen, die wir benötigten. Die Betten waren sehr komfortabel, und die allgemeine Atmosphäre war entspannend. Danke für das Hotelteam für die gedankevolle Geste es machte unser Aufenthalt noch erinnerebarer.

Staff are exceptional, always looking to enhance your experience.
Breakfast was good with a good selection but did lack variety day in day out. Staff here are very good and are always willing to help. Downside would be the coffee machines that never seemed to be working correctly.
We had a couple of maintenance issues, but staff were sent promptly and most were rectified in a good time.
A tip would ask for your room to face the mall, the otherside had a lot of traffic noise which was constant.
