Easy check-in, room I stayed was spacious with a small balcony. Room facility can be improved (I prefer mug rather than paper cup), but the room has a hairdryer, electric kettle, small fridge so it was comfortable stay overall.

we travelled with family there and staff were helpful. But the insulation between rooms is Soo bad and you will regret staying there if some couple decides to shout all night.

Alles ist gut, nett Mitarbeiter. Der Spa ist ziemlich komplett, der Pool ist wirklich erwärmt, der ausgezeichnete Jacuzzi und die wunderbare Sauna. Das Frühstück ist auch ziemlich gut. Das Hotel ist schön und gemütlich und die Bar hat auch ein großes Angebot an Getränken jedoch im Vergleich zu Snacks könnte mehr Variabilität haben. Ich betone jedoch den sehr guten Angus Burger.

Rein, komfortabel und geräumig. Es gibt eine gemeinsame Küche mit allen Ausstattung. Es gibt eine Pflege für Gäste in allen Details. Das Zimmer war Wasser, Miniflaschen mit Portfolio, gekühlte Wein, Saft, Milch, Obst im Kühlschrank.

Pontos fortes.
-local aprazível para descansar e no meio da natureza.
-Serviço irrepreensível, pessoas muito simpáticas.
-Pequeno almoço fabuloso.
- Boa Relação preço/qualidade no restaurante.
- Quarto:
1-Muito asseado;
2- Bom colchão ;
3- Adorei a casa de banho;
4- Decoração minimalista? mas boa para mim.
Ponto fraco:
-O quarto podia ser maior;
-podia ter um pequeno sofá.
Pena que não podia ficar mais tempo.
Normalmente quando estou hospedado num hotel só uso para dormir e aproveitar para passear. Mas este apetece ficar e usufruir os serviços do hotel.

Zu viel Lärm durch zuschlagende Türen in anderen Zimmern, was zeigt, dass die Schalldämmung nicht optimal ist, außerdem sind sämtliche Straßengeräusche in den Zimmern hörbar, als ob die Fenster geöffnet wären.

Die jungen Gäste von Coinbra sind sehr gut, es gibt Frühstück, die Stadt ist etwas weit von der Station entfernt, die Umgebung ist ruhiger, die Universität Coinbra ist älter als Oxford!

Great location, wallking distance to the main tourists street with all restaurants & shops. Across the street from Coimbra train station. (Not Coimbra B)
Beds are comfortable & the shower water pressure was amazing, their breakfast was great too, lots of fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, juice & all kinds if breads, pastries, coffee
etc. The young ladies at the reception were so kind & caring. The room, bed & bathroom were all spacious.

Großer Ort, um ein paar Tage zu bleiben, Strand, viele Restaurants. Casino alle Schritte von der Vordertür entfernt.
Das Hotel war ruhig, sauber und mit sehr freundlichem Personal.
Das Frühstück hatte viele Gemüse.
Würde nicht zögern, wieder zu bleiben oder einem Freund zu sagen.

GGastnutzerI stayed at this hotel for two nights from August 3 to August 5, 2025. First of all, the hotel’s location is excellent—it’s near the square, making it very convenient to reach all the attractions. My room faced the river, offering a beautiful view of the Rio Mondego. This is an established hotel, and although the furniture is somewhat old, but everything is very clean, which didn’t affect my stay at all. The hotel staff are very warm and hospitable. The breakfast is a standard European-style buffet, providing enough nutrition to fuel a day of exploring. Most notably, I was initially concerned about the WiFi strength, but after recent improvements, it’s even better than what I have at home—upload and download speeds both exceed 300 Mbps, which was a pleasant surprise. To sum it up, I found my room to be great value for money, more memorable and impressive than many four or five-star hotels.

AAndyInBangkokA superb historic property under private management and ownership - actually, in the ownership of the same family for over 400 years alto’ now a member of the Small Luxury Hotels marketing system affiliated with Hilton. Das Immobilien in seinen angrenzenden Gärten ist ein Ziel in sich, zusammen mit dem nahe gelegenen (400m) Santa Clara Kloster. Sie können für einige Besucher ausreichen, aber es ist etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Zentrum von Coimbra und es ist das Hauptgeschichte.
Arthur Wellesley - auch Viscount Wellington - war während seiner iberischen Kampagne ein Besucher, so dass Sie in gutem Unternehmen sind.
Die Mitarbeiter sind wunderschön und offensichtlich von dem Besitzer gewählt. Der Empfangsmitglied, als ich ankam (Abend des Sonntags, 16. Februar) war einfach das Beste, das ich je erlebt habe, einschließlich Singapur, Bangkok und Tokyo. Echt faszinierend zu reden über die Geschichte des Gebäudes und einige der vorherigen Gäste (berühmte, aber „verpasste“ Berühmtheiten, so dass kein Vertrauen verletzt wird).
Beste im Hauptgebäude zu bleiben, wenn möglich, wenn Geschichten der vorherigen Bewohner-Intrige. Obwohl der Spa ist beeindruckend – bis zu den besten thailändischen Standards - und ich denke, die angrenzenden Spa-Zimmer können gleich gut sein.
Insgesamt ist ein absolutes Geschirr, das die Erwartungen weit übersteigt.

GGastnutzerWe stayed two nights in apartment 2.2 - one bedroom with a small office room which has a desk and single bed. Location was great, being right off the main pedestrian strip in the old town area, so very atmospheric and convenient for restaurants. Check-in is at Hotel Oslo, about 4min walk away so you will have to walk with your luggage for a few minutes, including up some stairs. The apartment building also does not have a lift, so you will need to be able to carry your luggage up stairs within the building. I don't think you would be able to call an Uber or taxi to the street in front of the building as it is very narrow so bear this in mind. Some other minor points I noticed about the apartment which you may find helpful:
- It directly faces another building on a narrow street, so the apartment doesn't really get natural sunlight
- There is a washer but no dryer - it took a whole day for our clothes to dry and the rack sat in the living room
- The apartment fittings are starting to feel a bit worn down

AArchDragonI stayed in a single room at ibis Coimbra Centro and had a pleasant experience overall. I was especially happy that the hotel fulfilled my request for a king bed. The room itself is compact but well laid out, just the right size for a solo traveler.
One issue I did notice was that the room stayed quite warm, even with the temperature dial set to 15°C and the air conditioning on high. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but it’s something to be aware of.
The toilet was spotless, and I really liked the wooden floors and the modern shower area.
I opted for breakfast during my stay and was pleasantly surprised by the variety available. There were enough options to enjoy something different each morning, and I always left the table full and satisfied.

GGastnutzerThe lady...is a Lady and she was kind attentive generous and I felt completely welcomed...it was as if I was staying at a living relative. Although the room was small the bathroom was ample. The room gad a query nook area by one of the two window areas...the view of the water was calming and simple, I could hear the birds in the shady trees outside my tall romantic window setting. The whole place was spotless and fresh smelling ...the bed comfortable. All looked new. It was near to everything. If I have to want anything it is a disposable shower cap. She allowed me to take her tea-Kettle to my room for my convenience which added to my comfort. Although we did not speak the same language we understood each other. I would love to return again soon. Thanks much 😊

Comércio. Some complained about the claustrophobic nature of the room without windows but I think its fine as the only time I spent in was to sleep. The price is good and room is clean and with good location are all I asked for and the hotel fulfills all that. The people there is friendly and tried to help as they could, an added plus. Will stay there again if I come back to coimbra.

It was my wife’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated. They even included a small cake with a candle for the in-room breakfast—such a thoughtful touch! The welcome sparkling wine and cake were also a delightful surprise. Their exceptional attention to detail and outstanding customer service truly set them apart. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!

GGastnutzerWe very much enjoyed our stay at Coimbra Monumentais. The location is absolutely perfect being so close to the steps up to the University. The facilities were fine. My only suggestion for improvement is to automatically send the check in information rather than asking us to ask for it. I missed that point in the reservation. Most of our stays were with Air BnB and they automatically send the information a day or two in advance. We came to the back door (the 7A address) and had an issue with getting in. Once in, we were very well looked after. Thanks so much to Mariannna!
