A hotel with a magnificent view. It is really hard to find such a view. Especially the view from the top bar floor is extraordinary. The rooms could be cleaned more meticulously. It is not dirty but it could be cleaned more meticulously. The breakfast was average, the dinner menu was not very extensive, at least in the bar section. The welcome in the lobby was respectful and smiling. We were offered hot towels and fruit juice as soon as we arrived. The hotel is on the slope of a hill but I think the lack of a link bus service to the city center is a shortcoming.

Very pretty and nice resort with mountain view. Friendly staffs and super super nice breakfast. However, it is too fat away from Kandy city center, you have to pay 1500+ rp for each ride, and most tuk tuk drivers don't prefer to go to this place. The google map shows wrong way and the team knew about this, but informed us just on the day of arrival, making this journey even harder.

This is a very nice hotel that is light and airy, and gives you a sense of being in the country. The staff are wonderful and make the experience what it is. Breakfast and dinner are very good, although it would be great to see more variation. Dambulla town has quite limited food options, so hotels like this are often the only choice for guests. The location is good - near to Dambulla, Sigiriya and only 1.5 hours from Anuradhapura. It would be nice to go for walks near to the hotel including to the lake. It is possible but there are guard dogs for the homes on the path to the hotel which makes for a less than relaxing walk. Overall, an excellent hotel

I absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, and the views were nice. I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the peaceful atmosphere. My room was cozy and relaxing, and I especially loved the bathtub which was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The infinity pool was another highlight with gorgeous ocean views, though it was a bit on the cool side. I do wish it had been heated, but it was still a beautiful spot to relax. Room service was great too! Good selection and reasonably priced for a hotel. Cons: On my last day, I treated myself to a 90-minute aromatherapy massage at the spa. Unfortunately, I’d rate the spa a 5/10. Living in Thailand has definitely spoiled me with incredible massages, so I admit my standards are high! Still, I think the spa could use a bit of a refresh. The rooms smelled a bit old and weren’t very visually appealing. It was also quite cold during the body scrub and massage, which made it hard to fully relax. Breakfast was okay, but I wish there were more Western-style options available. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Everything about the hotel itself was lovely, I’d just skip the spa next time!

Wir haben unlängst auf W15 Glenfall Nuwara Eliya auf einer Bed & Breakfast-Basis geblieben, und insgesamt war es eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung. Wir wurden einem der zentriertsten Zimmer mit dem größten Balkon, mit einem schönen Blick sicherlich ein Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, mit Tee und Kaffeebereitung verfügbar. Das Innenraum fühlte sich luxuriös und gemütlich, und das gesamte Eigentum ist gut gepflegt. Das Waschzimmer war ziemlich groß, mit grundlegenden Einrichtungen, und sie erwähnten über WhatsApp, dass eventuell zusätzliche Artikel beantragt werden könnten. Allerdings habe ich zwei Zahnpasta beantragt und sogar zweimal verfolgt, aber leider wurden sie nicht geliefert. Die Eincheckung war reibungslos und schnell, und der Parkplatz ist freundlich und hilfsbereit mit einem Sicherheitsbeamten verfügbar. Das kleine Grasland ist auch schön gepflegt und ergänzt den Charme der Unterkunft. Ihr Vorbestellungsgebäude ist ziemlich effizient, Abendessen muss vor 6 Uhr bestellt und Frühstück vor 10 Uhr vor der Vornacht. Das Essen war lecker, und wir genossen vor allem das englische Frühstück, das sehr gut zubereitet wurde. Die Mitarbeiter waren im Allgemeinen aufmerksam und hilfreich, und haben einen positiven Beitrag zum Aufenthalt geleistet. Es wäre jedoch schön, bei der Eincheckung einen willkommenen Getränk zu sehen, und da wir unser Hochzeitstag feiern, hätte ein kleines Geste wie eine Kuchen oder einfache Dekoration es besonders gemacht. Auch die Zimmer sind nicht ganz klangfest, da man etwas Lärm aus der Küche und der Lobby hören kann. Insgesamt ist es eine schöne und komfortable Unterkunft in Nuwara Eliya, ideal für eine entspannende Getaway. Mit einigen Verbesserungen im Detail könnte die Erfahrung sogar besser sein. 🌿✨

A Hidden Gem – Perfect Honeymoon or Quiet Getaway This place is truly a hidden gem. It was the perfect spot for a honeymoon couple or anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway. Travel tip: From Colombo, you can catch a direct bus to Nuwalapitiya. We didn’t know this and went via Kandy, which made the journey longer than necessary. If we had known, we would have taken the direct bus—it’s much easier. Ps:The bus ride is phenomenal—very beautiful views along the way and very cheap. The property is located on a hill and is naturally beautiful, surrounded by trees and birds whose songs make the atmosphere even more serene. It does get a bit cold at night, but it was the perfect kind of chilly—cozy and refreshing. Our room had an amazing view, making it even more special. The stay itself was perfect for our honeymoon: very cozy, comfortable, and clean. The staff were amazing, especially one gentleman at the restaurant (I didn’t catch his name, but I want to mention him). He went above and beyond to help us and was incredibly sweet and warm-hearted—it really made our stay special. A small note: we noticed the pool looked a bit dirty, which some other reviews also mentioned. However, it was clarified in the pool area that they use natural spring water without chemicals, so this is expected and actually a great eco-friendly approach. But This hotel needs some love because this is a very nice place. Another small note: there were some insects, like cockroaches, but that’s expected when staying on a hill in the middle of nature surrounded by trees. Overall, this was a truly wonderful experience and a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!!

Wenn Sie für ein wenig rustikaler Charme bereit sind und den Mangel an AC und Privatsphäre beheben können, kann der warme Service und großes Essen für die Nebenwirkungen kompensieren.

Das Hotel liegt an einem ruhigen Ort umgeben von Natur und wir hatten eine wirklich entspannende Zeit, die die Vögel zu hören. Wir blieben in einem Zimmer mit eigenem Pool und liebten nur das Hotel selbst zu genießen. Das Frühstück kam mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht, und die srilankanischen Gerichte waren lecker. Das Personal war so aufmerksam, immer lächelnd und machte uns wirklich willkommen. Wir würden sicher gerne zurückkommen.
