Stayed at Nest Hotel Kumamoto during our trip and had a really comfortable stay. The location is very convenient, very near to the city centre with only around 10 minutes walking distance to the shopping street and nearby station. There’s also a vending machine at the lobby which is super convenient for late night drinks and snacks. Right opposite the hotel there is a big mall, so it’s easy to find food, shopping, and daily necessities. Luckily during our stay, there was also a taiwan food fair happening nearby which made the atmosphere even more lively and interesting. The room was clean, comfortable, and suitable for travelers looking for a convenient place to stay in Kumamoto. Staff check-in process was smooth as well. Overall, great location and comfortable stay. 9/10 ⭐️

Der Ort ist relativ abgelegen, 😨😳 Ich glaube, man muss zuerst ein Auto nehmen, um dorthin zu gelangen. Es kommen viele Touristen ins Hotel und viele Reisegruppen sind gerade erst angekommen, so dass man nicht sehr früh einchecken kann, aber Es gibt einige Restaurants in der Nähe, die leicht zu erreichen sind 😋👍. Es gibt auch einige Kosmetikprodukte in der Nähe😀👍, die heißen Quellen sind relativ komfortabel😀, das Frühstücksessen ist durchschnittlich, die Umgebung des Zimmers bietet einen Blick auf den Berg Aso😀👏👏👍, aber insgesamt ist es OK🫰👍

Location is very good, walking distance to the shopping streets. We had everything we need from the amenities area. Breakfast is very good range, and most important YUMMY! The staffs at the breakfast area were very friendly and helpful too, they even helped my son (5yr old) with his drink he wants 🥰 We loved the bath, face and hand towels that are used in the hotel. They feel so soft to the skin!

Fantastic new hotel! We took a 37sm corner room, large for japan standard Breakfast soread is good and delicious. Hotel beds are also the best so.far (for tjis 10days trup Kyushu) location is ver central, food plentiful..only issue we had is carpark (due to the central location and probably due to Golden Week,), no parking anywhere near the hotel and ended up waiting for more than an hr to park at Times parking which cost 3600 yen till next day. Overall, we highly recommend this hote.l

Pros- spacious villa, quality bedding and large private indoor onsen( see picture 13). We also like the public outdoor onsen in the sister ryokan nearby. There is a little cafe there you can buy drinks and coffee, run by an adorable old couple, very nice and polite. We spent a lot of time there just chilling and listening to the music. Cons- Living room: we were only able to book the western style villa as it’s a little last minute trip. The living room is basic, bland, with sofa, instead or tatami. Our room 512 is next to the car park. Parking lot in front of your main door is not very pleasant. Food : just soso. Nothing extraordinary. See picture. No horse sashimi, the presentation of the steak is really ordinary - disappointing. Perhaps because we had such an amazing meals in the previous ryokan this became a massive letdown. Dinner served in a large public dining room, lack of the privacy and intimacy ther ryokan provide ( we had private dining room in another ryokan 野之花during this trip). I got to see other couples but also feeling like we are being watched. Service- served by young people, not much attentiveness you would expect in traditional ryokan, lack of the warmth and ritual. Reception- 3 star at best. A basic room with uncomfortable chair while you wait to be checked in. We arrived around 2:30pm, and was told that check in can only start at 3pm, and please wait. So we sat at the hard chair and forced to watch the promotional video until 3pm. Conclusion - 3.5 star ryokan, not the most exciting or exclusive villa we have stayed. Maybe it would get better once the trees grow thicker and staff better trained. The sister Ryokan nearby has better feel of environment and feels more established.

Das Personal am ryokan war unglaublich freundlich und bereit, mit allem zu helfen, was wir brauchen. Beim Einchecken wurden traditionelle Attraktionen, Pyjamas, Tabi-Slips, Bademantel und eine kleine, willkommene Behandlung mit Matcha und Kaffee angeboten. Wir fragten auch an der Frontabfertigung, ob sie uns nach dem Abflug einen Fahrt zum Bushalteplatz geben könnten, und sie sagten natürlich sehr nett. 
Unser Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und schön dekoriert. Zuerst wollten wir einige andere lokale Arschlöcher erkunden, aber nachdem wir die im ryokan erlebt hatten, fühlten wir uns völlig zufrieden. Es gibt separate Badezimmer für Hotelgäste (Männer und Frauen), Bad für Gäste und Besucher (auch geschlechtsspezifischer) sowie ein privates Essen. Einer der Arschlöcher hat auch eine Sauna. Das traditionelle Abendessen und Frühstück waren sowohl beeindruckendgeschmackvoll und sehr großzügig in einem Teil. Die umliegenden Flächen sind erstaunlich, perfekt für friedliche Wanderungen. Dieser ryokan ist etwas weiter von der Hauptklasse der Innen, aber das war genau das, was wir wollten, um ruhig zu gehen zu genießen. In der Nacht wurden unsere Futons für uns gestellt, zusätzlich zu der authentischen Erfahrung. Der einzige Grund, warum ich einen Stern entnommen habe, ist das sehr helles grünes Licht auf dem Deck, das über Nacht bleibt und nicht aus- oder abgedeckt werden kann. Ich hatte keine Schlafmaske mit mir, und der ryokan hat nicht eine geliefert, so hatte ich eine Schlaflose Nacht. Es war ziemlich unbehaglich. Das sagte ich, ich empfehle immer noch sehr diesen ryokanit’s ein unvergessliches Ort zu bleiben.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut, liegt direkt neben dem Bahnhof Kumamoto und steht anderen beliebten Hotels in nichts nach. Der Preis ist auch sehr günstig. Es gibt drei Betten für drei Personen und im inneren Zimmer gibt es auch einen Schreibtisch, was sehr gut ist. Das Hotel ist auch sehr ruhig und sehr schön. Es ist auch fünf Gehminuten vom gegenüberliegenden Amu Plaza entfernt. An der Ecke des Hotels befindet sich auch eine Biccamera.

Wir haben in einem Deluxe Twin Room für 3 Erwachsene geblieben, das 2 Einzelbetten und 1 komfortable Sofabett umfasst. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der JR Kumamoto Station über einen bedeckten Spaziergang, wodurch der Transit unglaublich einfach ist. Die Fahrt war eine Brise, der Untergrundpark im Amu Plaza-Station verfügt über einen Aufzug, der direkt auf die Hotellobby im 9. Stock geht. Die Hotelzimmer selbst befinden sich im 10. bis 12. Stock. Der direkte Zugang zum Amu Plaza-Magazin direkt unten unter uns war für Modeshopping, Essen und die Sammlung von Souvenirs unglaublich bequem. Parken kostet eine sehr vernünftige ¥1,000 JPY pro Nacht für Hotelgäste. Wir lieben auch das Bad Design das WC und das Dusche/Badewanne nass sind vollständig in unabhängige Zimmer getrennt, so dass wir die Einrichtungen gleichzeitig mit absoluter Privatsphäre nutzen können. Das Waschbecken befindet sich auch in einem separaten, trockenen Raum außerhalb. Dieses Hotel ist für seinen außergewöhnlichen Komfort, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Komfort sehr empfehlenswert!

An excellent hotel. The location is very convenient, a 20-minute walk from Kumamoto Station or a 10-minute tram ride. The reception staff are courteous and attentive. Essential items can be collected on the ground floor. The room was on the very top floor. The beds are large. The cleaning service is excellent, with towels changed daily. Perhaps the only drawback is the lack of sufficient space to open a large suitcase, you have to jostle about to do so. At one point, the room became quite stuffy, the air conditioning didn’t help with the air circulation, and the window couldn’t be opened. I realise this has been done for everyone’s safety.

Room was reasonably large. Free drinks 18:00 to 21:00. Large bath. Friendly staff. Try the hotel restaurant below ”Ryosai” for some sashimi (horse included)
