Das Personal beim Hotelaufenthalt und Check-in ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Mitarbeiter, der am 28.11.2024 Frühdienst hatte, war jedoch unhöflich und betrog uns bei der Ankunftszeit des Flybus. Er buchte uns ein Taxi zum Hauptbahnhof und gab vor, der Flybus sei verspätet, und er wusste nicht, was passiert war. Ich hatte einen Flybus-Abholservice vom Hotel gebucht, obwohl er wusste, dass die Abholzeit des Flybus normalerweise innerhalb von 15 Minuten liegt (ich habe dies vom FLYBUS-Personal bestätigt, das mir sagte, dass Hotelmitarbeiter normalerweise darüber Bescheid wissen). Glauben Sie diesem Rezeptionsmitarbeiter niemals (ich habe seinen Namen nicht erfahren, aber ich erinnere mich an seine Dienstzeit/sein Dienstdatum). Ich denke, das Hotel sollte sich ernsthaft mit dieser Angelegenheit befassen.

Für den Preis ist es ganz gut. In der Küche wird gebraten und gebraten, daher riecht es auf dem Boden. Ich habe in einem Sechserzimmer für Frauen übernachtet, und meine Mitbewohnerinnen waren sehr freundlich und haben sich vorgestellt. Für eine Alleinreisende war es eine sehr interessante Erfahrung. Das Bett war nicht sehr stabil, und Etagenbetten sind vielleicht nicht für jeden geeignet. Ich bin nur eine Nacht geblieben, um es auszuprobieren; länger als zwei Nächte zu bleiben, könnte unbequem werden. Der Service an der Rezeption war sehr gut.

Foss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe. I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik. Tge front desk staff, he gave me suggestions and helped me book the show ticket. He gave me clear instructions and seeing my lost look , even gave me the hootel phone numbers to call him in case I run into trouble. But thanks to his clear guidance I managed to navigate well and had a great day out. This hotel is about 15 to 20mrs from city centre by walk. One day I forgot my gold chain in the room. But the housekeeping folks while cleaning did not even touch any valuable stuff that i left. It is really a very reliable and safe hotel. They have a restaurant that serves delicioys food. I ate their fish and chips and chicken salad. Both were great. The breakfast has a good spread. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The best part is still the excellent service from the staff. My trip got rebooked and i had multiple correspondence with the staff and they were always prompt and reassuring. The only downside of the whole stay was my room. I got a corner room which had a slanted corner shape, meaning a triangle cut off from a rectangle. Though nicely laid out, i felt claustrophobic as the room size was much smaller. That room is not ideal, especially if not solo.

Service provided by Ginta was excellent! Initially we were assigned to a room on the 3rd floor, which would have been impossible for us as there was no elevator and we had two big luggages. Ginta was very helpful and accommodating to our request, she called her manager and helped us to change rooms to the first floor. We also had to leave early by 7:30am the next day for a tour, but breakfast officially only starts at 7:30am. Ginta helped to arrange and ensure we had breakfast before we left. Location is great, less than a 5 minute walk to bus stop #8 and Hallgrimskirkja church. It was also easy to walk to Rainbow street, Laugavegur and other attractions.

**Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend!** From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to everything making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. What stood out the most was the attention to detail and the genuine care from the staff. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Hotel was neat. Breakfast was good. The lady at the Breakfast was very kind. The only thing we didn't enjoy is the fact that after certain time ( 17 pm of so) there was no reception and we had to call a number to get code to enter, which was not that complicated, but when you are tired , not something you enjoy..

Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt an der Bushaltestelle 13, was sie ideal für Tages- und Mehrtagesausflüge macht; das Hotel ist sauber und ordentlich, mit einem Fitnessraum sowie Innen- und Außen-Thermalbädern zur Entspannung; das Frühstück ist ordentlich; gegenüber befindet sich ein authentisches isländisches Restaurant (siehe Bild).

Jeder, mit dem wir gesprochen haben, war sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Die Lage ist gut und der Gemüsegeschäft ist in der Nähe von Spaziergang. Es gibt einen Mini-Kühlschrank im Zimmer, das hilfreich ist. Es gibt keine Mikrowelle, aber einfache Optionen wie Sandwiches sind verfügbar.
