The front staff were not friendly, and there was very little warmth or hospitality. Even though our room was already ready, they were very strict about only allowing check-in after 3pm, which made things inconvenient—especially for families travelling with children or elderly. 🏨 Room Condition The hotel is quite old, and it shows. • The room had a noticeable old smell when we entered. • The toilet wasn’t very clean, and water leaked out into the room area, which was uncomfortable and unsafe for kids. • Overall, the upkeep and cleanliness were not at the standard we expected. 🏊 Facilities We went to the pool area but found no staff at the pool counter, which made it difficult to request towels or assistance. The pool area itself is decent, but the lack of staff presence made it feel unmanaged. 📍 Location The hotel is in a convenient central area, close to malls and food outlets, which is the main positive point. ⸻ ⭐ Overall Rating: 2.8/5 Aryaduta Pekanbaru has potential because of its location and brand, but the hospitality, cleanliness, and maintenance need significant improvement. For families, the strict check-in policy, room condition, and lack of staff attention made the stay less comfortable than expected. "Gute Umgebung mit schönem Frühstück. Die Dachlounge ist gut für Hangouts mit vollem Stadtblick. Zimmer ist geräumig. Eines zu verbessern wäre die Soundproof-Funktion für das Zimmer nicht verfügbar, mit akustischen Lärm von Ihrem Nachbarn und der Klopfen-Sound. Andernfalls ist das Bett komfortabel, sowie, Wasserdruck & Temperatur sind einfach schön."
