Die Dachbar und Blick auf Glos ist ein toller Ort für Getränke. Sie brauchen jedoch mehr Kuchen und Sitz unbehaglich, wenn Sie nicht auf einem gekühlten Stuhl sitzen können.
Wein OK- begrenzte Rose Optionen.
Zimmer gut konzipiert und High-Tech-Angebote wie Kaffeemaschine, Milch im Kühlschrank und Küchen.
Keine Earl grauen Tee oder Orange Milch Optionen traurig.

Wir blieben hier für Badminton Pferde-Tests und hatten eine tolle Zeit! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfreich von Anfang an zum Abschluss. Das Frühstück war schön und es gab eine große Auswahl an Lebensmitteln. Wir hatten dort jeden Abend Abendessen sowie das war schön. Ich würde dieses Hotel sicher an andere empfehlen.

Beautiful hotel. Room is spacious and bedding very comfortable.
Bathroom can improve in particular splash from shower n wetting the floor.
Staff overall very nice and polite. Waiting staff in Brasserie Joanne and Megan are particularly impressive in accommodating customer’s requests.

Stayed here for a weekend at the Cotswolds. Great location as base for visiting surrounding villages. Nice short drive into Cheltenham city. Clean rooms, great reception and restaurant service. The same breakfast selection every day but it was good and covered the basics of an English breakfast. They were also very on it when refilling stations. Didn’t get to try any amenities this time though.

Das Zimmer ist gut, das ist, dass der Leuchtkörper gebrochen ist, der Kellner ist sehr gut, hilfsweise die Zimmertür. Es ist das beste Hotel, das die Schule besucht.

This hotel is luxurious and on this our second stay was just as gd except for breakfast
The location of the table meant my husband had difficulty getting to his chair each time due to a sideboard close to his chair. The staff were not v attentive and I had to look for a member of staff to clear the table of bowls and glasses folllowing our first course of yoghurt & granola. Our choice of cooked breakfast was served to the table but we had to help ourselves to toast. The cooked breakfast came to the table COLD. The bacon was tough as it must have be sitting either in a warmer or under a heater !!
At no staff during breakfast did waiting staff ask if we needed anything further or if everything was ok !!
On leaving the restaurant there were no staff to make a complaint to. We were in the breakfast room between 9 & 9.30 there were only a few other tables with guests in the breakfast room.

Das Hotel liegt im Stadtzentrum, Restaurants und Supermärkte sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Hotel verfügt außerdem über ein Partner-Fitnessstudio und einen Swimmingpool, was eine angenehme Überraschung war. Das Zimmer ist für britische Verhältnisse recht groß und bietet ausreichend Platz für einen großen Koffer. Das Personal ist geduldig und freundlich. Es ist ein vertrauenswürdiges Hotel.

Disappointed at first off when I found out I had to pay a further £5 for parking my car. First appearance was it seemed very dated. The room was ok, bed clean and comfortable, tea, coffee making facilities. TV was a limited on stations, but absolutely no WiFi or if there was it wasn’t available in my room. Noise from the next door room, and from upstairs in particular was unbearable, I think they must have been real heavyweights as every step across their room was vibrating down through my ceiling, and at one point sounded like they were jumping off the bed it was so loud, I actually thought they would be coming through. The bathroom had really seen better days, felt grubby, mould on the ceiling, plugs in both the bath and the sink were old and broken, and the bath itself had seen better days, but on a positive note the towels were clean. All in all I didn’t feel it was worth the £72 plus parking fees and wouldn’t recommend, unless you could get it for less than £40 Max.

Pool was not that big but did allow children over the age of eight to go into the jacuzzi. Pool closed a bit early on Saturday that last entry at 7.15pm. Hotel was overall quite clean.

GGastnutzerHave stayed here several times and usually have a good experience, except for the breakfast arrangements at the beefeater next door.
On this occasion, we arrived with relatives in their 80s to find the rooms that had been refurbished and only completed that day, had no electricity. There was only one person on the desk, and it was a busy day in mid Dec. The poor girl fried frantically to get the electric working in both rooms, for over an hour, eventually
moving us to other rooms on another floor, but again, no electric. We we're beginning to give up hope. Already feeling low as we were attending a younger relatives' funeral the next day. But after 90 minutes, she finally succeeded by using 2 key cards in the lighting slot, giving us light. Needless to say we were all tired and weary. To her credit she offered a refund for the cost of breakfast to compensate, and on feeding our experience back to Premier Inn, they also discounted the cost of the rooms. So we were happy with that, and generally we would stay here again.
Our only other gripe is with the arrangement for breakfast in the beefeater accross the carpark. Having booked full English breakfast, that is what you expect. But being asked on arrival have you paid or not is poor practice, and would expect the booking in and restaurant services to be linked, so that question becomes mute. Then to go through each item in the English breakfast menu to be asked how many of each item is required is really unacceptable. I do hope they seriously explore a better way to greet and serve their customers. Most hotels would usually just ask your room number, which tells them if you have paid for breakfast or not, and then serve you the item as listed on the menu.

We spent a wonderful weekend at The Bear of Rodborough, staying on Friday and Saturday night, and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The hotel itself is full of charm, with a beautiful setting and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Breakfast was included both mornings and was a real highlight. It was such a refreshing change to have a cooked‑to‑order breakfast rather than a full buffet, while still being able to help ourselves to fruit, yoghurt, and pastries. Everything was fresh and delicious.
We chose to dine at the hotel restaurant on both evenings, and the food was exceptional. The style is very much modern, refined cuisine, and both the duck and the stone bass were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. It felt special without being pretentious.
The hotel also has a pub, which has a great atmosphere and adds to the overall charm of the place. Whether you want a relaxed drink or a cosy corner to unwind in, it’s a lovely space.
Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect. Their warmth really added to the experience.
All in all, we had a truly lovely stay and would happily recommend The Bear of Rodborough to anyone visiting the Cotswolds. We’d love to return.

GGastnutzerThe Mousetrap Inn proved to be an excellent choice for our recent getaway. The location is absolutely perfect – just a pleasant walk to the main town, giving us easy access to local attractions, shops, and restaurants while enjoying peaceful surroundings.
What truly made our stay memorable was the genuinely friendly staff. From check-in to checkout, every team member was welcoming and helpful, going out of their way to ensure we had everything needed. Their local knowledge and recommendations enhanced our entire visit.
The included breakfast was a real highlight and exceptional value. Fresh, well-prepared options with plenty of variety kept us satisfied each morning before exploring. It's rare to find complimentary breakfast that actually exceeds expectations.
The inn maintains a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly matches its charming name. Clean, comfortable accommodations combined with the convenient location made it easy to enjoy both tranquil relaxation and vibrant town center activities.
Highly recommended for friendly service, great value, and ideal location.

JJWLiebe Aufenthalt im Bell. Recht im Gegensatz zu Tewkesbury Abbey, konnten Sie nicht um eine bessere Lage bitten. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind auch hier ein echtes Bonus und die Lage ist nahe dem Severn Way Spaziergang, für Spaziergänge nach Deerhurst und darüber hinaus.
Freundlich, engagierend, echten und manchmal Spaß, Service und Aufmerksamkeit von allen Mitarbeitern machten uns sehr willkommen.
Das Frühstück war so wert und auch große Teile! Wir blieben auch für Abendessen eine Nacht ( hatte ein großer Indianer am Raj zweiten Abend) und waren so schön überrascht. Als ein “Pub-Kette” Hotel denken Sie manchmal, dass das Essen ziemlich blenden und Firmenspitze sein könnte, aber die Kochen hier wissen, was sie tun. So glücklich mit dem Essen.
Ein oder zwei kleinen Krüppeln könnten der Verkehrslärm sein, denn unser Zimmer war auf der Straße ( so trug Ohrenschneider und feine) und das sehr weiche Bett, aber es war wirklich feine.
Wir würden wahrscheinlich noch einmal bleiben, wenn wir in Zukunft diesen Weg durchlaufen würden.
