Vor langer Zeit lebte ich in Hengchun und arbeitete als Yogalehrerin. Ich fand die Umgebung damals wunderschön. Wenn ich die Gelegenheit habe, muss ich unbedingt wiederkommen und Urlaub machen. Ich habe meine Kinder nach vielen Jahren wieder mitgebracht, und es ist immer noch so schön! Das Zimmer ist auch sehr komfortabel. Die Kinder hatten auch viel Spaß mit der intelligenten Haushaltshilfe. Als ich nachts eine Duschhaube brauchte, brachte sie mir der Roboter an die Zimmertür. Ich hoffe, dass beim nächsten Familienurlaub mehr Leute das gemeinsam erleben können! P.S.: Die Einkaufstaschen gefallen mir auch sehr gut.

Gut ist, Ablage für Koffer ist da, Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist hervorragend. Nicht so gut, das Zimmer ist zu klein und die Decke zu niedrig. Ich hatte in Fahrstuhlnähe gebucht und hatte dann ein Zimmer zwischen den Fahrstühlen. Das war zu laut. Zimmer leider zu kalt in der Nacht, ich bekam eine Heizkörper. Alles in allem OK. Preislich NASA.

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. [Lage] Sehr günstig gelegen. Nehmen Sie die Rolltreppe am Ausgang Y13 der Taipei Underground Mall; das Hotel befindet sich schräg gegenüber. [Ausstattung] Zur Ausstattung gehören ein Waschtrockner, ein Backofen, ein Bügeleisen, ein Induktionskochfeld und eine Bratpfanne. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine große Auswahl; einfach, aber sättigend und lecker. [Ambiente] Das Zimmer war sauber und es war ruhig. Die Gepäckaufbewahrung war praktisch und die Check-in- und Check-out-Zeiten waren flexibel. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. ✨Insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Der Preis war angemessen, die Lage günstig und das Hotel sauber. Ich würde wieder hier übernachten.✨

Ein sauberes Hotel mit super Service. Die Angestellten sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und sauber. Es gibt Waschmaschinen und Trockner im Hotel die man rund um die Uhr nutzen kann. Zudem eine Bar und Frühstück, das rein taiwanischem Frühstück entspricht. Leider sind die Zimmer im Keller sehr hellhörig. Jeder Luftzug oder Huster der Nachbarn ist hörbar.

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Wenn man mit dem Aufzug runterfährt und links abbiegt, ist man direkt am Wanhua Bahnhof. Direkt gegenüber von FamilyMart ist ein Eingang, durch den man geradeaus zur MRT-Station gelangt. Zuerst dachte ich, die MRT-Station wäre nicht in der Nähe, aber sie ist tatsächlich sehr, sehr nah! Ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Wir wurden im 18. Stock untergebracht, was eine tolle Aussicht bietet. Außerdem war das Personal am Pool sehr freundlich! Neben dem Eingang zur Lobby gibt es auch einen kleinen Tisch für Essenslieferungen, was sehr praktisch ist. Ich frage mich, warum es kein Schild an der Tür gibt, das Gäste an die Außenseite hängen können, um dem Personal mitzuteilen, dass keine Zimmerreinigung gewünscht ist? Außerdem ist im Poolbereich eine Badekappe Pflicht, was verständlich ist! Aber eines Abends kam eine Gruppe von Mittel-/Oberschülern zum Schwimmen. Ein paar, die gut ausgerüstet waren, gingen zuerst rein und überredeten dann ihre Freunde, die keine Badehosen dabeihatten: Sie sagten, die Regeln besagten nur, dass man eine Badekappe tragen müsse, aber nichts über Badehosen! Sie diskutierten hin und her und kamen tatsächlich zu dem Schluss, dass nur eine Badekappe nötig sei und keine Badehose. Also sprangen einige von ihnen nur in Unterwäsche ins Wasser! (Und sie hatten sich nicht einmal abgeduscht!) Das war ekelhaft! Ich musste mein Kind schnell aus dem Wasser holen und ins Zimmer zurückbringen. Ihre Unterwäsche war dunkel, so dass das Personal es wahrscheinlich nicht bemerkt hat. Zudem ist die Badewanne sehr klein. Aus der Toilette kam ein ziemlich starker Geruch.

Sie können die Natur nahelegen, die Landschaftspflanzen, Berge und Flüsse außerhalb des Fensters sehen, auf dem Grastisch, geeignet für die Tiefe der Phantasie, entspannen, das Wasser sollte wirklich warm und glitzerhaft sein

I write with much disappointment on your lapse in hotel service. I checked in on 3/12/25 and my son caught a cold. I was at the hotel lobby at 1.5hrs earlier requesting for a check in but it’s allowed. My son and I were left to rest n sleep at the lobby. No one came to us or any empathy shown at all. The next day as my son was unwell n resting in the room, there was dragging sounds that can be heard from the room which lasted for about an hour plus. I called the reception and was told that there is no guest staying above my room 701 nor beside us. My hair stands and immediately requested for a change of room. Without empathy, the reception told me that it could housekeeping upstairs. I was even more puzzled n worried why is there housekeeping where there is no one staying above my room n beside my room? The reception mentioned that they will check again even though I requested for a change of room a few times. Finally, a lady who came to ‘help me’ change room. She given me a doubtful expression and asked me if the dragging sound is still there with no empathy. Thankfully after she asked, there are dragging sounds are heard. She was standing in my room to only see me scramble to pack my things with no apology or empathy. To make things worse, she asked me what time I want to have my breakfast the next day. I really do not appreciate the question when I busy packing my things to a new room. I was later told by the in charge for that day named Connie that the staff are trained not to help guest with their luggage. So is this the reason to show no empathy to your guests by asking the guests' breakfast timing? The lady brought me to third floor but I do not feel good at the walkway as super dark and eerie feel and requested for another room. On my final day staying at the hotel, I was given a call half an hour before 11am to ask to check out of the hotel. I had never encounter such thing before. It then brings me the question whereby if your check in time is 6pm and your check out time is 11am, why then there is a need to rush guests out of the hotel? The hotel will have ample 7hrs for housekeeping. Also, if the room beside my room 701 n above unit has no guest staying, why is it that I cannot check in early on the day of arrival on 3/12/25 where my son is not well? Even more shocking to me, during checking out of the hotel, I was given a document saying that I purchased laundry item which I did not. Imagine if it’s a confidential document that the staff reveal to a wrong guest? This is totally not professional. I requested for the names of staff and the email for me to feedback to the management but they are not willing to do it. I was standing at the front counter in the cold wind for 10 minutes requesting for it. It's really ridiculous! Later, the in charge that day named Betty finally succumb to my request but repeat rudely her name to me. It's such a shame that the hotel is such a good location but I will seriously reconsider or even recommend anyone to stay in there again I hope to hear from you on the above mentioned. Thank you.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)
