Ok so first let me just say for the price we paid on the days we went. It wasn't horrible. I would go back BUT YMMV so this was my experience. Location was great. Right on the boardwalk and an easy walk to Hard Rock when we went to the concert. Service was meh. The only time I had a friendly anyone in the establishment was the woman who checked us out. Everyone else that we interacted with were either disinterested or perfunctory. No help on where to find our rooms, no help on any services offered. We didn't even get the annoying (did you want to sign up for our card?) that you get in ****** hotels. I guess that was a plus. From my understanding we were on the ”older side” of the establishment. But regardless, staying on an entire floor that says non smoking it smelled of smoke. both cigarettes and ****. I don't care if you do either but I do care to smell either in my room or right outside my door (defeats the whole purpose of non smoking). Everything is dated which is whatever. but the blinds didn't work the coffee maker wire was too short for the ”dresser” so you had to keep moving it to the nightstand to use it. The room itself was relatively clean although the back of the nightstands hadn't been touched in a long time with all that accumulation of dust. Its design is just...weird. like so much random open area. I guess you can dance there lol. The ”dresser” didn't have drawers it had...like cubby holes. We didn't use them seemed pointless. I didn't even bother with the tv it was too far away and faced away from any sitting area (again weird layout). The ****** itself was ok. Nothing crazy although I did like that rotating bar they had. But again. EVERYWHERE just reeked of smoke. To use a comparison, at Hard Rock when you were on the ****** side sure people smoked there (i get it) but the hotel side of things smelled clean refreshing and airy. In the end, manage expectations and you'll be fine. If you are a smoker I am sure you will be fine too. If all you plan to do is sleep there its fine (although we were on the 7th floor and could still hear the music bumping below but the music was good so w/e lol) It works, again its not horrible. Its definitely 2.5-3 star range.

For being such an expensive high end hotel I did expect things to be cleaner in the hotel room. You could see the basic easy perimeter of cleaning in the bathroom especially. There were some stains on the bedding as well that instantly gave my face a look. Arrived on a Friday evening and checked out for a late departure and no one was ever in our room to restock so we had to call and ask for more towels which wasn’t that big of a deal we just had a lot of garbage in our room from the weekend and a mound of dirty towels. It was an extremely busy weekend there as we were there for volleyball tournament and everything was pretty much booked up! I think the “resort fees” were really unnecessary as we didn’t even get to do much and my kids just all walked around and people watched and paying $1000 just for the regular hotel price is enough. It was a stay to play event so we had no other options in staying elsewhere. Restaurants inside were mediocre and outrageously expensive!! I just felt like it was a money pit and that’s the only intention it had. We were on the 15th floor and did get a great view of the sunrise/sunset right around the corner from our hotel door and I think that was the only thing we actually enjoyed there.

It was helpful that they were able to accommodate connecting rooms. We were in the Havana Tower. We booked run of the house, which was a king bed in the hold tower. To upgrade to 2 beds and for connecting option it was an additional $29 fee.

Die Einrichtungen sind nicht neu, was jedoch keinen Einfluss auf die Nutzung hat. Das Zimmer war standardmäßig und funktional. Der Umbau der Badezimmerdusche weist einige Mängel auf, der Wasserdruck ist jedoch ausreichend und es macht nichts, wenn das Wasser gleichzeitig auf und ab fließt. Dieses Hotel ist von Straßen umgeben: Wählen Sie es nicht, wenn Ihnen der Lärm etwas ausmacht. Gehen Sie aus dem Hotel nach links und laufen Sie 200–300 Meter bis zum Stadtbus Nr. 112. Er kostet 8 $ und ist sehr praktisch, um in die Stadt zu gelangen, aber der Bus ist nicht sehr pünktlich. Bei Bahnstreiks ist die Nutzung des Busses kaum möglich und Taxifahrten sind sehr teuer. Wenn kein Streik stattfindet, beträgt er 65; bei Streiks sind es 80-100, das hat aber nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun. Es ist sehr praktisch, es zum Flughafen zu tragen. Insgesamt gut.

Das Zimmer ist groß, der Service des Hotels ist sehr gut und es liegt in der Nähe des Flughafens Newark verfügt über ein kostenloses Auto zum Abholen und Zurückbringen vom Flughafen. An jedem Passagierterminal gibt es feste Abhol- und Bringorte (weitere Informationen finden Sie auf der offiziellen Website). Es ist auch bequemer, direkt neben dem Flughafen zur Isle of Man zu gelangen. Sie können zunächst zum Passagierterminal des Flughafens gehen, den Flugzug nehmen und dann in den NJ Transit Train nach NY Penn umsteigen.

Nehmen Sie vom Terminal C den Airtrain zum nahegelegenen P4, wo Sie den Hotel-Shuttlebus nehmen können. (Siehe Abbildungen 1–4.) Das Zimmer war groß. Eine schwarze Dame an der Rezeption checkte mich um 14:30 Uhr ein, obwohl ich eigentlich erst um 16:00 Uhr einchecken sollte. Das Hotel ist ziemlich veraltet, insbesondere die öffentlichen Einrichtungen wie die Aufzüge waren baufällig und klapperten. In der Nähe gibt es die Mills Garden Mall zum Einkaufen und Essen. Eine Uber-Fahrt dorthin kostet etwa 23 Yuan pro Strecke. Das Frühstück war durchschnittlich. Ich würde mir überlegen, bei meinem nächsten Besuch in der Gegend ein anderes Hotel zu wählen.

Sie musste zum Prudential Center für ein Konzert gehen und entschied, dass es in der Spazierweiterung ist. Die Eincheckung war schrecklich. Die Vorlady hat mich vergessen, nachdem sie mir gesagt hatte, für 10 Minuten auf mein Zimmer zu warten. Ich habe um ein Zimmer in der Nähe des Aufzugs gebeten, weil ich einen langen Korridor haß, aber sie gab mir das längste Zimmer, neben den Ausfahrtstreppen. Sigh..... Das Bett war komfortabel. Der Rest des Zimmers war ok, aber das heiße Wasser dauerte zu lange, um zu heißen und der Wasserdruck war pathetisch. Der Aufzug war langsam und wir mussten lange warten auf die 2 Aufzüge. Dann am Abend brach ein Aufzug. Der Warteschlepper war lange auseinander! Bei 1.30 bin ich von bratty Kindern aufgewacht, die auf der Tür meines Nachbarn stecken. Und die Albträume begannen, als der Nachbar von Hell beschlossen, eine Party in ihrem Zimmer zu haben. Ich habe die Rezeption 3 mal angerufen und sie versprach, einen Sicherheitsbeamten zu schicken, um sie zu bitten, ruhig zu bleiben. Aber als ich aufhänge, konnte ich ihren Telefonring hören! Keiner kam auf und der Lärm setzte weiter. Nach dem dritten Anruf kam jemand endlich auf und die Party ging schließlich weg. Ich musste drei Stunden Lärm tolerieren. Am Tag vor mir wurde gesagt, dass der Flughafenshuttle auf der Stunde, jede Stunde verlassen würde. So kam ich auf 7.45 nur zu sagen, dass es halb jede Stunde ist. So musste ich 45 Minuten im Lobby warten. Im Lobby waren im Lobby schlafende Schlagzeuge. Insgesamt werde ich nicht zurück zu diesem Hotel kommen.

Die Nähe zum Flughafen ist ideal. Nebenan ist eine große Mall, die fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang sind eher unfreundlich und desinteressiert. Der Flughafenshuttle soll alle 30 Minuten kommen. Wir mussten morgens um 4.45 Uhr länger als 20 Minuten warten. Der Mann am Empfang war allerdings nach unserem Checkout verschwunden und tauchte nicht mehr auf. Eine Frau, die ebenfalls auf den Shuttle gewartet hat, rief sich ein Taxi, da sie an der Rezeption niemanden fragen konnte, ob und wann sie zum Flughafen kommt. Der Shuttlefahrer war ebenfalls sehr unfreundlich und half nicht beim Einladen der Koffer. Also insgesamt nicht sehr Kundenfreundlich… Schade

Es war keine Fernsehsuche, die ich Zimmerservice nennte. Ich habe eine Fernbedienung gefragt, die ich etwa eine halbe Stunde später erhalten habe. Und die Fernbedienung funktionierte nicht, ich rief sofort die von der Arbeitsfläche für einen Bout eine Stunde und es gab keine Antwort

Service throughout was attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Asbury Ocean Club delivers genuine five star hospitality in a setting that feels both refined and refreshingly relaxed. We left already counting down to our next visit, and we cannot recommend it more highly.
