Wenn Sie nach einem schönen Resort-Kurzurlaub suchen, um einfach abzuschalten und zu chillen, dann ist dies der richtige Ort für Sie. Es liegt auf einer privaten Seite der Insel mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf das kristallklare Wasser, den weichen Sand, aber mit vielen Felsen. Die Rückseite blickt auf den natürlichen Regenwald und die majestätischen Twin Peaks. Die Zimmer sind recht rustikal, aber sauber, was am wichtigsten ist. Wie in allen anderen Strandresorts liegt jedoch immer noch etwas Sand auf dem Boden und dem Bett. Die Toilette und die Dusche funktionieren gut. Meine Familie und ich hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Es gibt nicht viel Auswahl beim Essen, da das Resort nur ein Restaurant hat, aber das asiatische Essen ist ganz gut. Es gibt auch nicht viele Aktivitäten, es sei denn, Sie melden sich für einen Schnorchelausflug an, aber das ist ziemlich teuer und meine Tochter ist noch zu jung dafür. Aber ich habe die Natur, das Meer, den Sand und den Pool genossen. Einfach entspannen und abschalten.

Die Pools und die meisten Einrichtungen waren geschlossen, als wir (spät) ankamen und früh aufstanden. Der Zugang zum Strand ist sehr bequem und morgens geöffnet. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, da wir aufgrund der Verfügbarkeit ein Upgrade auf ein Deluxe-Zimmer bekamen. Die Gebäudestruktur ist ziemlich alt und muss besser gewartet werden. Die Handtücher müssen ausgetauscht werden. Es galt jedoch immer noch als gut gepflegt. Das Personal ist freundlich und spricht gut Englisch.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&J Tioman Dive Resort on Tioman Island, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, it was clear why B&J has built such a strong reputation among divers and travelers alike. One of the first things that impressed me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and spotless throughout my stay. Housekeeping standards were consistently high, making it easy to relax after a day of diving and exploration. The resort grounds were also kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that reflected the professionalism of the entire team. What truly made the experience special, however, was the people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was assistance at the reception, advice on local activities, or help with dive logistics, the team always greeted guests with a smile. The dive instructors and divemasters deserve particular praise. They were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Tioman’s underwater world. Their enthusiasm was infectious and helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere both above and below the surface. As a diver, I greatly appreciated the balance that B&J strikes between enjoyment and safety. Every dive was well-organized and professionally conducted. Safety briefings were thorough, equipment checks were carried out carefully, and the dive guides remained attentive throughout the dives. Despite maintaining high safety standards, the team ensured that the dives remained enjoyable and memorable. Their familiarity with local dive sites allowed us to maximize our underwater experience while feeling secure at all times. It is reassuring to dive with professionals who clearly prioritize guest safety without compromising the fun and excitement of exploring the reefs. Another highlight of staying at B&J was the abundance of delicious food available nearby. The resort’s location provides easy access to a variety of eateries offering local Malaysian dishes, fresh seafood, Western options, and refreshing drinks. After a day spent underwater, it was wonderful to have so many excellent dining choices within walking distance. The combination of great diving and great food made every day on the island something to look forward to. Overall, my stay at B&J Tioman Dive Resort was outstanding. The clean accommodation, warm and friendly staff, professional dive team, strong safety culture, and excellent food options combined to create an unforgettable holiday experience. I would not hesitate to recommend B&J to anyone visiting Tioman Island, whether they are experienced divers, new divers, or simply looking for a relaxing island getaway. The beach chalet was nice and better than i thought. My room was clean, spacious and had everything i need. The room and bathroom were clean. Housekeeping and maintenance was fast when i needed them. Breakfast was great too. Every staff asked if i need any help when they passed by me and they were friendly. The resort has a really great ambiance. It is perfect for holiday to relax. There are pools, volleyball sand courts, pickleball, cafe and just few walks away theres the beach! I really LOVE the vibe. As someone who had a one week stay there. I would come back and recommend others. As for the bad sides, the room tbh is a bit old especially the aircond but it was functional so thats good. The tv is not smart tv but it has enough channels. The pillow might be too thick for some but the king-sized bed is huge. The room is not sound proof oops, i can hear my next door alarm clock and hairdryer sound but i m not too particular for that as at least i know theres PEOPLE next door lol. But because its not sound proof, if your chalet is near the parking, you ll the hear the sound of cars, and if you are near the beach you ll hear the people karaoke at night from the nearby cafe. In the morning, you ll hear the bird sounds. ALSO, there are biawak around 🦎, one time it was at my friends bathroom so always check! Tips: the BEACH CHALET KING room is located more strategically especially for solo traveller like me. I feel safer and less scary sleeping alone as my chalet is near the parking and not far from swimming pool. The garden chalet seems a bit far from people so if you are alone, maybe dont consider that.

Had an enjoyable stay at 1001 Hotel overall. One of the biggest highlights is its location. It’s situated away from the busy casino crowds, making it a peaceful retreat while still offering easy access to the attractions. The view is absolutely stunning—waking up to a sea of clouds was truly unforgettable and one of the best parts of the stay. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The check-in process was slower than expected (only one staff) and the front desk staff could communicate more clearly and proactively with guests. Better coordination and customer service during check-in would create a much better first impression. Another downside is the limited food options within or near the hotel. While this may not be an issue for short stays, having more dining choices would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. Overall, if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax with spectacular mountain and cloud views, 1001 is a great choice. With improvements to the check-in experience and more food options, it would be an even better destination.

I enjoyed my stay here. I appreciate the stylish lobby decor, and the receptionist staff was very polite and friendly. The kids club is wonderful, we played PlayStation and did some coloring. There's a gym nearby, and the toilet at the kids club is spotless. The hotel is extremely kids friendly, and my children loved everything about it. My room was clean, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job with the cleaning. The breakfast is delicious. ❤

Hatte einen schönen Aufenthalt hier. Mir gefällt alles an dem Zimmer. Besonders das Bett und die Dusche. Das Zimmer ist sehr gepflegt. Die Aussicht ist großartig, wenn es keinen Nebel gibt. Die Lage ist in der Nähe der Sky Avenue. In Bezug auf den Service gab es einen Fehler und der Rest war ein Volltreffer. Das Personal beim Einchecken/bei der Schlüsselübergabe kann geschult werden, um einen besseren Service zu bieten. Das Reinigungspersonal war großartig. Sie haben uns immer begrüßt und uns mit einem Lächeln begrüßt. Es gab auch einen Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, der uns beim Auschecken mit unserem Gepäck half.

Wunderschönes Resort, in dem man sich wie mitten im Nirgendwo fühlt. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und wirklich hübsch. Die Hütten sind etwas schlicht, bieten aber alles, was man braucht. Die Zimmer werden recht warm, was meiner Meinung nach durch eine Abdeckung des hohen Daches gelöst werden könnte. Das würde die Reinigung erleichtern und den Raum etwas kleiner machen, damit die kleine Klimaanlage kühlen kann. Wir hatten auch eine Doppelhütte, die mit einer anderen Hütte verbunden war, deren dünne Tür nicht abschließbar war. Ideal für gemeinsam reisende Familien, aber da wir die Leute in der anderen Hütte nicht kannten, hätten wir uns die Möglichkeit gewünscht, die Tür abschließen zu können. Die Wände sind außerdem sehr dünn, sodass wir manchmal etwas mehr gehört haben, als wir wollten. Einige der Aktivitäten sind unglaublich! Ich kann die nächtliche Dschungelwanderung wärmstens empfehlen. Die Guides sind sehr kompetent und haben es geschafft, winzige (und manchmal auch nicht ganz so winzige) Krabbeltiere für uns zu entdecken. Die Tageswanderung durch den Dschungel hat Spaß gemacht und war nicht zu anstrengend. Eine „leichte“ Dschungelwanderung. Die Bootsfahrt nach Lata Berkoh war reine Zeitverschwendung. Die Bootsfahrt selbst ist in Ordnung, aber man steigt aus, um sich einen großen Baum anzusehen, und dann noch einmal zu einem „Fischschutzgebiet“, das eigentlich nur aus ein paar leeren Gebäuden und einem Verkäufer besteht, der Fischfutter in recycelten Flaschen verkauft. Anschließend füttert man die Fische im Fluss. Die Badestelle ist schließlich nur ein anderer Teil des schmutzigen Flusses, mit widersprüchlichen Schildern, die sowohl sicheres als auch gefährliches Schwimmen anzeigen. Die nächtliche Bootstour war okay. Die Guides geben sich wirklich Mühe, etwas zu entdecken, aber es hängt wirklich davon ab, welche Tiere gerade unterwegs sind. Alles in allem also eine gute Erfahrung, aber ich empfehle, sich tagsüber außerhalb des Resorts nach Aktivitäten umzusehen. Wir haben hauptsächlich nur herumgesessen, bis die nächste gebuchte Aktivität kam, da es zu heiß war, um etwas zu unternehmen, und viele der Wanderwege mit mindestens 3-5 km zu lang waren. Außerdem: Man kann das Resort nicht mit dem Auto erreichen! Man muss es auf dem Parkplatz stehen lassen und ein Boot nehmen (1 RM pro Passagier). Nicht schlecht, aber wir wussten es nicht und brauchten eine Weile, um es im Dunkeln herauszufinden. Das Essen war ok

Ich hatte einen angenehmen viertägigen Aufenthalt im Resort. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, mit frischer Bettwäsche, einem bequemen Bett und einer leistungsstarken Klimaanlage – obwohl es etwas dauerte, bis der Raum abkühlte, sodass ein Ventilator eine tolle Ergänzung gewesen wäre. Besonders positiv war das Badezimmer: Es gab warmes Wasser für die Dusche und einen kräftigen Wasserdruck sowohl in der Dusche als auch in der Toilette, was nach einem langen Tag besonders erfrischend war. Die Zimmerreinigung erfolgte am dritten Tag. Das Zimmer war zudem geräumig genug, um zwei mittelgroße Koffer auszubreiten. Die Lage ist hervorragend – nur 5–7 Gehminuten vom Bootssteg entfernt, und der Strand liegt direkt vor dem Resort. Das Resort half auch gerne bei der Organisation des Gepäcktransports zum und vom Bootssteg, was sehr praktisch war. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist einfach und gut, mit gebratenen Nudeln, zwei bis drei frittierten oder gedämpften Speisen (Samosas, Curry-Puffs, Frühlingsrollen, Siew Mai, Bao, Pfannkuchen, Waffeln, French Toast, Pita-Sandwich usw.), frischem Obst, Brot mit verschiedenen Aufstrichen (Butter, Kaya, Schokolade, Honig), Müsli und einer Eierstation. Nach ein paar Tagen wirkt die Auswahl etwas eintönig, aber es ist trotzdem ein unkomplizierter Start in den Tag. Ich war hauptsächlich zum Tauchen da und habe daher die angebotenen Aktivitäten nicht genutzt. Das Strandrestaurant war ein Highlight – ein toller Ort, um den Sonnenuntergang beim Abendessen zu genießen. Die Speisekarte bietet eine Mischung aus lokalen, asiatischen und westlichen Gerichten. Ich empfehle die Beef-Peperoni-Pizza, das gegrillte Hähnchenschnitzel und die frittierten Hähnchenflügel; die Nachos waren leider nicht verfügbar. Das Resort ist friedlich und ruhig, überhaupt nicht laut. Es scheint ein breites Publikum anzusprechen – ich habe Familien und Freundesgruppen gesehen, was für eine entspannte und einladende Atmosphäre sorgte. Es gab auch einen Wasserspender, was ich sehr begrüßte, und der Besitzer und die Angestellten waren während meines gesamten Aufenthalts freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt ein einfacher und ruhiger Ort zum Verweilen, besonders wenn man etwas in Strandnähe sucht.
