Great location, husband and father in law stayed the night before a visit to see the Vulcan. The room was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the food was superb (best fish & chips theyve had for a long time). They both had a great time and would definitely recommend.

The hotel is near the Thorne North station and the M62 motorway. A pub with car park is part of the establishment and provide breakfast, warm meals and drink. Next to the hotel is a retail park with Aldi, KFC and other stores. Thorne itself is 15 min walk.
The rooms are simple but effective and there is no staff on side. Kettle, coffee and tea supplied. Bathroom with bath and shower. Iron in corridor.
I stayed few times as it is convenient for my needs and reasonable priced. 15% discount on meals for guests.

We loved our stay at Radisson Blu. The only downside was the Air Con not working properly, they are really hot rooms and the windows dont open.
However, the rooms are so quiet with soundproof rooms, really comfortable and spacious.
It was an ideal location near Lyceum Theatre and a lobely square opposite for eating and drinking. We sat at the roof top bar for drinks and staff were polite and helpful. I would love to revisit but the air con was abit of a downside for me.

Ein Geschäftshotel ohne Einrichtungen außer einem Restaurant. Zimmer ist relativ klein, nicht einmal ein kleiner Kühlschrank. Frühstück ist gut. Allerdings schlechte Erfahrung mit Hauspflege. Keine Service für das Zimmer nur am ersten Tag. Die Mädels hat gerade die Handtücher geändert und hat nichts ins Zimmer getan, einschließlich der Toilette. Ich muss um tägliche Reinigung an der Frontdesktop bitten. Am dritten Tag fand ich einen großen Kunststoffbeutel mit Gusseisen in meinem Zimmer, wahrscheinlich die Mädels vergessen, auszunehmen. Der Beutel beinhaltete andere Gummi, die nicht aus meinem Zimmer stammten.

Schönes, sauberes Hotel, geräumiges Zimmer, bequemes Bett, alles, was man braucht. Ich hatte in der ersten Nacht ein Problem mit der Heizung, da sie sich einfach nicht abstellen ließ. Dies wurde schnell behoben, nachdem ich einem Mitarbeiter davon erzählt hatte.
In meiner letzten Nacht konnte ich mit der Schlüsselkarte nicht in mein Zimmer, es war bereits nach Mitternacht, also war ich müde und wollte einfach nur schlafen gehen. Ich musste zweimal vom obersten Stockwerk zur Rezeption gehen, bevor das Problem gelöst war, was mich ziemlich verärgert hat.
An meinem letzten Morgen habe ich für das Frühstück bezahlt. Es war ein wenig enttäuschend, sehr einfache Auswahl auf der kontinentalen Seite und die Würstchen waren von sehr schlechter Qualität und nicht zu essen. Es gibt jedoch ein Toby-Fleischbuffet auf der anderen Straßenseite, wo ich am Tag zuvor zu einem günstigeren Preis gefrühstückt habe. Ich würde empfehlen, stattdessen dorthin zu gehen.

Upon arrival I got a very warm welcome from staff and they upgraded the room that was nice it's very clean and looks modern the beds comfy TV works great and WiFi is good very warm room and slept well had the breakfast continental was a good selection staff was very polite then had the full English didn't have the works but was full would definitely stay here again it's in the middle of town and 5 mins walk away from train station so u have everything you need close by

JJohn SalinskyThe Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful as far as they could be. On the first day of our stay ( Christmas Day) there were parties going on and we had to go up several flights of stairs to get to the breakfast buffet. Everything was a little hard to find but the food was good when available. The ample grounds were an additional attraction as were the huge trees in the spacious garden.
On Christmas Day there were lots of staff looking after the various parties.On the last day, however, ther was only one poor unfortunate waiter in attendance! He did his best but it was impossible for him to keep the buffet food items fully refreshed. He had to do this as well as clearing plates etc from tables. We thought that the lack of any other waiting staff was due to the unavailability of staff from the European Union.
The bedroom facilities needed repairs which were unattended to. In particular, the control knob of the central heating radiator had fallen off and could not be replaced. The radiator was on night and day and also made an irritating noise through most of the night.
We stayed three nights in the hotel from 24th to 27th December 2023.
IN summary, we thought that the hotel could be restored to it's original splendour but would need a substantial investment to improve its standard.
The once magnificent hotel seemed sadly neglected because of lack of investment.
Otherwise the room was satisfactory. But sleep was difficult until we got more used to the noise at night.
In summary, we thought that the hotel needed a lot of money spending on it to improve the facilities and make dure there were enough staff.

RRyan WindsorRobin war auf dem Empfangstisch sehr professionell und freundlich und gab mir einen sehr herzlichen Willkommen und einen großen ersten Eindruck.
Das Hotel ist direkt an den Wintergarten angeschlossen und hat eine große zentrale Lage und ist weniger als zehn Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof (das alle Fahrstuhl und Gepäck zugänglich ist).
Alle Frühstückspersonal waren auch aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, auch früh am Morgen.

KKirkI didn’t have the food. But the hotel was clean, the area was good. The only problem I had was . I went out and got back and couldn’t get back in, the front door was lock. Rang the doorbell and was standing there for more than 3 minutes to get in. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean.

AAnonymer BenutzerDas Hotel ist sehr groß und schön, und die Dekoration an der Tür ist sehr schön. Der Service des Hotelpersonals ist sehr gut, sie sind sehr freundlich. Mein Zimmer war auch riesig und ich mochte den Stil des Zimmers sehr, die Toilettenartikel waren sehr freundlich. Und es ist so nah am Stadtzentrum, dass ich mein Ziel zu Fuß erreichen kann. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Reiseerlebnis.

Mai 24 war sehr enttäuschend wir fanden das Zimmer schmutzig mit Insekten schwanken unter dem Bett, wir baten um das Zimmer, das wir getan haben, aber fanden das gleiche Problem, das ich er zeigte sich an den Nachtrezeptor, er kam mit einem 3rd Zimmer sauber glücklich um Mitternacht, jetzt sehr müde wir schliefen gut und sprach zu der Rezeption bei der Abschaum, der uns ein komplimentäres Frühstück, das war schön, aber nicht machen Sie wollen wieder zurück Wenn die Zimmer Ihnen so schmutzig vorgestellt werden, bitte sehen Sie Fotos Ich habe dem Hotelmanager am 13. Mai geschrieben, aber noch haben Sie keine Antwort erhalten
