Hotel is in great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was as described and is clean and comfortable. Negatives are that the hotel carpark is actually a public carpark and not part of the hotel but was not a big issue for me. And there was a lot of walking to get to the assigned room from the lift & stairs. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and I would come again.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, serviert warmes englisches Frühstück und kontinentales Frühstück. Innerhalb von 20 Minuten friedlich zu Fuß zum Stadtzentrum. Sehr bequem. Wir sind wirklich glücklich und zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt im Holiday Inn Express Bath , sehr empfohlen!

The hotel is situated on a beautiful road with amazing buildings surrounding it. It is pretty much a stone’s throw away from where all of the shops, bars, and cafes are. The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling as they greet you. They act professionally and even give you ideas and suggestions for tours. The room we had wonderfully tall walls and high ceiling, however, the carpet for the floor hurt our feet to walk on, so I would suggest taking slippers (we did not take any unfortunately). All in all, it was a great place to stay with a delicious breakfast the morning after. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Hotel - great location - perfect for the train station and wandering around Bath. Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Very good, tasty breakfast. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a lovely stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Ausgezeichnete Lage für die Erforschung von Bath. Es ist etwa ein 10-minute Spaziergang in das Zentrum von Bad, obwohl der Rückweg auf dem Hügel nach ein paar Tagen seine Gebühr auf Ihre Beine nimmt! Das Zimmer war sauber und groß. Wir haben ein Zimmer mit einem Patio gewählt, das am heißen Tag perfekt war, da Sie die Türen öffnen und frische Luft inlassen konnten. Ich empfehle es, beim Buchen das Frühstück zu berücksichtigen, da es sonst eine zusätzliche £20 pro Person ist. Das Frühstück war sehr angenehm. Wir hatten das Voll Englisch und Eier Royale, mit der Möglichkeit, Ihnen zu helfen, Toast, Joghurt, Obst und andere Dinge. Die junge Wächterin, die uns diente, war auch sehr nett, freundlich und aufmerksam, was die Erfahrung noch angenehmer machte. Parkplatz war 15 £ pro Nacht, was wir für Bath sehr vernünftig hielten. Ich empfehle, früh zu kommen, um sicherzustellen, dass Sie einen Platz erhalten, da Parkplatz begrenzt ist. Wir kamen um 1:00 Uhr an und es gab viele Platzmöglichkeiten. Wir konnten auch unser Auto von der Ankunft verlassen und dann später in der Nacht um 8 Uhr prüfen, was wirklich bequem war. Der Empfangsmann war sehr willkommen und freundlich bei der Ankunft und beim Auschecken, was uns in unserem Aufenthalt gut nachgesehen fühlte. Insgesamt waren wir sehr glücklich mit unserem Aufenthalt und würden dieses Hotel definitiv empfehlen. Es ist eine große Basis für die Erkunden von Bad, mit freundlichem Personal, komfortable Zimmer und guten Parkplatz.

Geräumig genug für zwei große Gepäckstücke Das einzige Verbesserungspotenzial besteht beim Frühstück. Erstens wurde kein Speck serviert. Und die Würstchen schmeckten nicht gut. Andere sind gut! Und sie stellen ein Waffeleisen zur Verfügung!

Amazing value for money; simple selections of food, compact no frills chalets: could do with a bit of attention to detail with deep cleaning; decent bedding and towels, fantastic and varied entertainment generally throughout the day and late into the evening; most acts are really good. Nice to be able to set up to work remotely in the ballroom during the day and take in the fun that holiday makers are having. The Blue Coats are an engaging team. Drink prices are OK for a setting like this. We are 53 and 58 and on the younger scale of most holiday makers but whatever age, this adult only holiday park delivers quality for money hands down. Bus travels from the road outside the site to Weston Super Mare hourly during the day; beach is just a walk away down the site entrance. Taxi's are affordable if a comfi trip into town is wanted. Can imagine how amazing this establishment will be in summer (and they don't seem to hike the prices to eye watering levels during the warmer months). The range of themed weekday stays (4 days Mon-Fri) and weekend (Fri-Mon) are varied. We need to be in the WSM area for a couple of months - staying at various hotels / establishments, but now we have found Sand Bay, we have chosen to book here for several weeks back to back. For that reason, we have brought our own bedding with us, to personalise our chalet and make it more homely for our extended stay. Reception team are generally welcoming and efficient and Jade the holiday booking team member is ever so helpful. Well done Sand Bay!

Came with no expectations. We don't arrive anywhere in UK with high expectations anymore. The Royal didn't disappoint! Arrived on a Sunday for a night stay after the Saturday night England semi-final. Room was fine, bathroom was fine. Location is excellent. Went down to the bar for a pint and to sit in the beer ”garden” Photo shows what we met. Boiling hot, no tables put out and only one parasol set up. Like walking into a furnace. Decided to go down the road. Had a great meal in the Little thatch, busy and full by the time we left(under cover, under parasols) and gave them our £70. Went for a walk and sat in one of the numerous bars by the Marine Lake for an evening drink. Again, busy and full and shaded. A fab evening. Walked past the Wetherspoons, again very busy and back to the Royal. Empty in the bar!! Nobody outside. Hope they had a good night Saturday, shame we couldn't have a nice meal there Sunday. Very disappointed that the hotel didn't clear up and reset tables for Sunday, they must have lost a fortune. As we left Monday, noise due to hosing down and putting tables back into place, a bit late for us. Both receptionist were helpful but used the excuse that there was football Saturday, didn't fully seem to understand why we were unhappy. If it wasn't for the fact that they ask you to pay up front, we probably would have left. Also not happy that we had to leave our card details in case we ”trashed” the room!!! Really? A 66 and 70 year old couple? We trusted the Royal, they clearly didn't trust us.

Stayed at Wentworth House for one night. The location was handy — only about a 6 or 7-minute taxi ride into the centre of Bath. Parking on site was free, which is always a bonus, though spaces were limited. The shower worked fine with good hot water, and at £120 a night for three people, the price wasn’t unreasonable for Bath. On the downside, the place is very dated and could do with some serious modernisation. Our room had a noticeable damp smell and the single-glazed windows didn’t help keep the room warm or quiet. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there, but overall, it’s an okay option if you just need somewhere for a night and aren’t too fussy — though a refresh would really lift the place.

Das Rezeptionpersonal ist sehr freundlich warm willkommen, Zimmergröße ist ok, Bad ist vernünftig, aber separate Tappen ist eine Frage sollte ein Mixer Tappe für warmes und kaltes Wasser sein, Großer Parkplatz, Frühstück ist sehr nett Ich fühlte mich schämlich und unbehaglich am letzten Frühstück am vorigen Tag, als ich mit dem Aufsichtsrat des Tages gesprochen hatte, um zu sehen, ob sie die Mini-Kreuzheiligen machen oder kaufen, wie ich ein paar zu kaufen wollte, um zu Hause zu meinen Söhnen zu nehmen, Ich wurde informiert, dass das ein Buffet so ich willkommen, so viele wie ich will, und wie morgen ist mein letzter Tag kann ich diese frisch dann, sie hatten kein Problem in mir, das zu tun, so am letzten Tag habe ich mit dem Aufsichtsbehörde gesprochen, der sagte, er wurde informiert re dies aber er erlaubt nicht und Ich habe mich sehr unbehaglich gemacht, da es andere Gäste da waren und wenn es eine Frage war, die der Aufsichtsbehörde vor dem Tag nicht hätte gesagt, dass es ok und dass sie das für andere Gäste getan haben, Er sagte dann, er würde mich nicht zulassen, aber er würde mir ein Paar geben und gab mir 3 in einem Box, ich fühlte mich sehr beschämend und wenig in diesem Raum der Zeit, die Art und Weise, wie er sprach und sein Ton war nicht nett Ich fühlte mich sehr gelassen am letzten Tag und das hat mich verlassen ein negatives Eindruck
