Burton Inn war ein toller Aufenthalt für uns. Zimmer ist sehr sauber und der Gastgeber war sehr nett, freundlich und freundlich. Es ist ziemlich nahe Old York, aber ein wenig wee weit vom Bahnhof, wenn Sie mit Gepäck laufen. Frühstück war ausgezeichnet

Great location: short walk from the train station and the centre. The room was basic, but the bed was comfortable, and A/C was working well- especially useful for heating after getting soaked in the rain, exploring the city. Cleanliness could be improved - the sofa had visible wet stains, the carpet had a wet patch, and the shower could use a deep clean. Unfortunately, the rooms are not sound-proof, and we were woken up by kids running and shouting on the corridor. Breakfast is complimentary, but the hot cooked part tasted like cardboard. Pastries were lovely, and coffee was decent. The team was friendly and helpful. Overall, an okay hotel for a weekend away, nothing fancy.

Impressive old building, great location, lovely breakfast. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom which was great but as we were at the rear it was a bit dark as we looked out onto walls and the paintwork being a little dreary didn’t help but the bed was very comfy! Would have appreciated a bottle or two of water in the room. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Wir waren eine Familiengruppe von 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern , jedes Zimmer hatte ein Doppelbett und ein gutes Sofabett. Die Betten waren komfortabel, obwohl die Sofabetten ein wenig fest waren, aber für die Kinder, die mit ihnen glücklich waren. Wir baten um Zimmer in der Nähe und sie waren nebeneinander, vor dem Hotel so mit der Straße draußen. Die Lärmschutzausrüstung war gut und wir hörten nicht viel Lärm von draußen. Der Luftkon war ausgezeichnet und schön und cool. Das Badezimmer war gut mit einem großen Schritt in der Dusche, und komplimentarische Toiletten. Frühstück wurde eingeschlossen und es gab eine gute Auswahl aus allen sehr guten Qualität. Der Waffelmaker war ein zusätzlicher Bonus!! Die Lage war sehr gut, nicht weit zu gehen ins Zentrum und sehr nahe zum Tesco-lokal für alle Extras, die Sie benötigen. Wir haben ein paar Getränke gekauft, da es ein handliches Kühlschrank im Zimmer gab. Ich würde hier gewaltsam wieder bleiben.

Das Personal am Talbot war fantastisch. Wir wurden auf superbly geachtet, während wir unseren Hochzeitstag feiern.Nichts war zu viel Problem und wir erhielten auch eine Komplimentarzimmer-Upgrade. Wir werden sicher zurückgehen!

Fantastic stay at The Grand. We had booked a suite but it was not one of the modernised rooms like we had hoped for. We went to reception and was greeted by India who kindly gave us options of 2 other rooms to move to and let us view both before choosing. The room we picked was fantastic, so modern, comfortable and even had kitchen facilities which was an added bonus. It was lovely to sleep in such a comfortable bed and not be disturbed by any street noise or noise from other guests. We went out for dinner and was surprised to come back to see we’d had a turn down service and little chocolates left on the pillows. Just little touches like this make you want to return and recommend to others. We would definitely stay here again, the service from all staff, but especially India, was fantastic!
