Anständige Zimmergröße. Es dauerte eine Weile, bis zum Abendessen ankam, aber geschmackvoll. Das Frühstück war auch gut, aber hatte keine Hash-braunen. Pool war nicht so groß, aber es erlaubte Kinder über acht Jahre, in den Jacuzzi zu gehen. Der Pool schloss etwas früh am Samstag, der letzte Eintritt bei 7.15pm. Das Hotel war insgesamt ziemlich sauber.

Great location. A very nice spa. The hotel room is unfortunately quite old, the shower was cold, the bed was uncomfortable and the walls are very thin making it hard to sleep.

Stayed here for a weekend at the Cotswolds. Great location as base for visiting surrounding villages. Nice short drive into Cheltenham city. Clean rooms, great reception and restaurant service. The same breakfast selection every day but it was good and covered the basics of an English breakfast. They were also very on it when refilling stations. Didn’t get to try any amenities this time though.

Die Fahrkarte zum Hotel war auch ziemlich schnell und kostete uns etwa 15 Quids. Die Eincheckung war super bequem und zufällig, und das Mädchen, das arbeitete, ging uns ins Zimmer, um alle Einrichtungen und Merkmale unseres Zimmers vorzustellen. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, aber es war ein wenig enttäuschend, dass es nicht ein Mini-Kühlschrank - es gibt nicht viele Lebensmitteloptionen oder Supermärkte in einfacher Gehstrecke vom Hotel, Also hatten wir einige Dinge mitgebracht, die wir auf dem Fensterschrank verlassen mussten, um sich zu kühlen. Das Zimmer war zwar großartig, aber das Untergeschoss war ein super komfortabler Ort zum Kühlen und Essen, und dann war das aufgehobene Schlafzimmer unglaublich gemütlich. Ich bin 5'11” und ich werde sagen, ich habe mich fast ein paar Mal auf den geschlagenen Wänden ausgesucht - ich denke, jemand höher sollte sehr vorsichtig sein. Ich habe bemerkt, dass Duschen in diesem Bereich im Allgemeinen nicht super heiß oder unter Druck sind, aber die Einstellung hier war nicht zu schlecht. Der pub unten ist natürlich super charmant, ein toller Ort, um mit einem Pint zu sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten, obwohl wir nicht das Essen versucht haben. Ich werde wahrscheinlich zurück zu diesem pub kommen, und würde im Innenhof bleiben, wenn ich jemals irgendeinen Grund habe.

The hotel itself is full of charm, with a beautiful setting and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was included both mornings and was a real highlight. It was such a refreshing change to have a cooked‑to‑order breakfast rather than a full buffet, while still being able to help ourselves to fruit, yoghurt, and pastries. Everything was fresh and delicious. We chose to dine at the hotel restaurant on both evenings, and the food was exceptional. The style is very much modern, refined cuisine, and both the duck and the stone bass were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. It felt special without being pretentious. The hotel also has a pub, which has a great atmosphere and adds to the overall charm of the place. Whether you want a relaxed drink or a cosy corner to unwind in, it’s a lovely space. Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect. Their warmth really added to the experience. All in all, we had a truly lovely stay and would happily recommend The Bear of Rodborough to anyone visiting the Cotswolds. We’d love to return.

Ein fantastisches Erlebnis. Das Personal war willkommen und hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und voller Charakter, mit Blick auf die Straße. Die Lage ist perfektfriedlich und malerisch, aber nahe den Hauptblicken. Wir würden gerne zurückkommen und empfehlen, diesen Ort an jede Person, die die Gegend besucht.

The Mousetrap Inn proved to be an excellent choice for our recent getaway. The location is absolutely perfect – just a pleasant walk to the main town, giving us easy access to local attractions, shops, and restaurants while enjoying peaceful surroundings. What truly made our stay memorable was the genuinely friendly staff. From check-in to checkout, every team member was welcoming and helpful, going out of their way to ensure we had everything needed. Their local knowledge and recommendations enhanced our entire visit. The included breakfast was a real highlight and exceptional value. Fresh, well-prepared options with plenty of variety kept us satisfied each morning before exploring. It's rare to find complimentary breakfast that actually exceeds expectations. The inn maintains a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that perfectly matches its charming name. Clean, comfortable accommodations combined with the convenient location made it easy to enjoy both tranquil relaxation and vibrant town center activities. Highly recommended for friendly service, great value, and ideal location.

I had trouble checking in and had to get help from the bar staff who were very helpful The bedrooms were a bit on the small side for 2 people, there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms and it was very hot weather. The breakfast menu was adequate. We did not have dinner at the hotel. The bottom step on the main stairway had no markings on the edge, and one of my party fell down that step on 2 occasions. Fortunately he was not injured, but the matter needs redressing. We pointed it out to one of the bar staff who said he would pass on the comment. The staff were very pleasant at all times.

Liebe Aufenthalt im Bell. Recht im Gegensatz zu Tewkesbury Abbey, konnten Sie nicht um eine bessere Lage bitten. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind auch hier ein echtes Bonus und die Lage ist nahe dem Severn Way Spaziergang, für Spaziergänge nach Deerhurst und darüber hinaus. Freundlich, engagierend, echten und manchmal Spaß, Service und Aufmerksamkeit von allen Mitarbeitern machten uns sehr willkommen. Das Frühstück war so wert und auch große Teile! Wir blieben auch für Abendessen eine Nacht ( hatte ein großer Indianer am Raj zweiten Abend) und waren so schön überrascht. Als ein “Pub-Kette” Hotel denken Sie manchmal, dass das Essen ziemlich blenden und Firmenspitze sein könnte, aber die Kochen hier wissen, was sie tun. So glücklich mit dem Essen. Ein oder zwei kleinen Krüppeln könnten der Verkehrslärm sein, denn unser Zimmer war auf der Straße ( so trug Ohrenschneider und feine) und das sehr weiche Bett, aber es war wirklich feine. Wir würden wahrscheinlich noch einmal bleiben, wenn wir in Zukunft diesen Weg durchlaufen würden.

Sehr guter Ort zum Aufenthalt. Schönes Personal und tolle Einrichtungen. Absolut erstaunlich. Wird sicher zurückkommen.
