This is lower level unit with stairs to access the unit. The open plan layout is open and light floods in through the windows along the front wall. The space is perfect for families, skiers, or anyone who just wants to get away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the scenery of Vermont at its finest. Jay Peak Ski area is only 15 minutes away with hiking, skiing, ice skating, golf and the largest indoor water park in Vermont. Newport, Vermont and all of its amenities are just 30 minutes away. Stowe, Vermont is a nice 45 minute ride and Burlington is just a little more than an hour away. The Vast trail is only minutes away also. You will get the feel of Vermont staying here with the pine and cedar accent walls throughout the apartment while you are surrounded by the campfires and trees right outside your windows. Our cozy, private, rustic mountain yurt is a 30’ foot space located in an upper field tucked into a wooded hillside. Views facing east are great for watching the sunrise and a kitchen and outhouse mean you’ve got everything you need to get out of town for a few days.* The location provides a serene, intimate getaway for couples, artists or anyone looking for a bit of mindful downtime and introspection. The yurt is insulated and can be heated by a wood stove.There is only an outdoor shower here unless you are staying for 3 or more nights then we can offer our indoor shower at our barn.The spaceSurrounding fields are available for tent camping should you want to host a larger event and use the yurt for its kitchen and gathering space (the furniture can be removed). The yurt and its verdant surroundings are great for day-long wellness retreats, sound baths, yoga workshops, art classes and more.
