Wir waren im Juli 22 in diesem Hotel für eine Nacht. Das Personal ist sehr nett, das Zimmer war sauber und bietet auch eine kleine Küche. Das Interieur ist sehr schön eingerichtet und das Bad bietet eine große Dusche; lediglich, dass es keine Ablagen gab in der Dusche könnte man bemängeln als auch, dass das Frühstück etwas spartanisch ausfiel, aber es war dennoch in Ordnung und wir mochten es (Croissant, Kuchen, Säfte, Kaffee und Wasser als auch Marmeladen). Der Pool ist sehr schön und abends beheizt. Die Liegen / Liegesäcke sind bequem, man muss nur etwas aufpassen mit den Tauben, dass diese nicht ihr Geschäft dort verrichten ;) Alles in allem eine tolle Erfahrung und wir würden zurückkommen. Pefekte Lage mitten im Zentrum.

It's a very nice hotel. Rooms are cozy with a well-equipped kitchen and a big bathroom. The most important is the staff of this hotel: so kind, so professional! Breakfast is good enough. The bar serves great Sicilian beer and wine (and the others). In our room, we also had a nice balcony/ terrace. Rooms were cleaned every day. In the reception, we could find many offers for different trips (Etna, Taormina etc...) + we got a voucher for a place on the beach in Catania. We even could rent a car or book a taxi for a fair price. Generally speaking, if next time I plan to go to Catania, I will book this hotel again.

The communication was exceptional from the moment I booked with them. They booked a car service for me from the train station and checked me in around 10pm. I was staying in Catania for 3 nights and decided to extend to 4 nights. They were very helpful in booking a room for me at another one of their properties for the last night. They made the process seamless and delivered my luggage to the new apartment for me. Both apartments were charming, clean and had great locations. Walking distance to all the main sites and farmer's markets. I would highly recommend!

What I liked: - The hotel boasts two lovely pools. - The on-site restaurant serves some of the best food I've had in the area, though it is pricey. - Breakfast is simple yet delicious, featuring eggs, frankfurts, bacon, cheese, pastries, fruit, juices, and wonderful coffee. - You are allowed to enjoy drinks by the pool. - 90% of the staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. - Free parking is available on site. What I disliked: - The room's air conditioning was not adjustable and only blew in one direction, making both the bathroom and bedroom uncomfortably warm. - I had to sleep on the pullout sofa as the bedroom was too hot. Thankfully, the sofa was available; otherwise, I don't know what I would have done. - The spa seemed expensive for a hot tub and sauna, so I didn't use it and can't comment on its quality. - There is an incredible rooftop with views of the bay and Mt. Etna that goes unused, which feels like a wasted space. - The location is very remote, situated in a residential area with nothing within walking distance except for two restaurants and a golf club affiliated with the hotel. - While you can walk to the bay, there are no pathways and the return trip is steep and uphill. - The hotel provides taxis, but they are quite costly. - There is an extra charge to use the kitchenette, which was not communicated beforehand. Additionally, no tea or coffee replacements were provided, which is unusual for a hotel of this caliber. **Tips:** - If you are checking in past 10:30 PM, be sure to call the hotel to ensure someone will be available to check you in. - Renting a car is essential for getting around, as without one, your travel options will be limited and expensive. - This hotel is perfect if you want to relax by the pool and do occasional excursions. However, if you're looking for more activities, you may find the location too remote.

We loved our stay at La Gancia. The minute you walk through the door you’re treated like royalty. Andrea and one of his colleagues a lady was exceptionally helpful and friendly during our stay. The room was spacious and you have a massive balcony overlooking the sea. We loved the outdoor terrace. The room also had a microwave, small fridge and lots of cutlery. Breakfast each day was excellent with a mix of pastries, yogurt, cereal and eggs, bacon and mushrooms. The staff at breakfast also lovely and always remembered my coffee order. Everything is walkable from this hotel. Would definitely stay again and I’ve recommended Trapani and La Gancia to a few friends since our visit. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Amazing apartment! Beautifully restored, spacious, quiet, centrally located and comfortable. Incredible breakfast from the local deli delivered outside on the trolley - amazing choice. No expense spared with a quality mattress and bedding. Fully air conditioned so really confortable in the Scilian heat! So many restaurants within a stone's throw of the apartment. Nicole is so helpful explaining the history of the apartment and full of recommendations on places to vist!

Our stay here was nothing short of excellent! From the comfortable bed, the spa slippers provided, to the mocha pot and fridge, the room was a refuge after exploring Syracuse all day! A great selection of restaurants within a short radius along with a small supermarket. We walked everywhere from the Hotel, day or night. Thank you for a great 6 nights. Shelley and Tom

We spent a wonderful week in Scily travelling by car around the island. Visited impressive sightseeing places. At the end of the trip decided to stay in Trapani before the flight. And as a wonderful end of our adventures was the stay in the perfect apartment. It is a real well equipped , of modern design and marvellous atmosphere appartment. The host are super hospitable and friendly, enjoyed communucating with them. Everything that you want to see is 1-10 min walk. A lot of restaurants around. The streets are clean , people smily and lively. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in this appartment. That was luck for us.

Großer Kundenservice, eigentlich die perfekteste, die wir bisher in Italien während unserer Reise haben. Ferienwohnungen sind sauber, mit einem guten Geschmack renoviert und machen Sie sich wie zu Hause und nicht in einem Hotel fühlen. Die Lage ist zentraler und ist nur wenige Gehminuten von allen empfohlenen Restaurants und Attraktionen entfernt. Wir waren fahren und trotz Gerüchten war es ziemlich einfach, Straßenparkplätze auch während der Spitzenzeiten zu finden. Es empfiehlt Ihnen, diesen Ort während Ihrer Aufenthalt in Catania zu verbringen.

Stayed here for 5 nights in Room 4. I was slightly earlier than check in time, but it was not a problem so kudos for that. The hotel is in an old building and the entrance is on the second floor. There are no elevators and it's a pretty steep climb. The hotel is a converted house, modernised and all tastefully decorated with a provincial feel. The bathroom had lovely red and white tiles with a modern sink, toilet and shower. The bed had a metal but sturdy frame. Dark patterned tiles cover the floors of the rest of the room. The bed was directly in front of the balcony, which also had enough space for two chairs. The room also had a desk with two chairs, a TV and aircon. The only downside is the white curtains, which are quite thin and let in a lot of light. There are lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel. As it was shoulder season, I wasn't disturbed by any noise. I actually slept quite well thanks to the comfortable mattress. The hotel has a common kitchen area. I don't think breakfast is officially served, but there are light snacks, tea and coffee from an espresso machine. There's also a microwave and plenty of chairs and tables. Overall I had a great stay. The owners are fantastic, friendly and are happy to help with day trips including the beach.
